This is my first post and I couldn't find the subject that easily; I just bought a BenQ P50 in Taipei but it's all in Chinese. Is there any way to change this into english?? Can I update this with an English ROM is something?? I'm a total Noob in this

You must perform a ROM UPDATE in order to change P50´s default language to Intl. English.

P50´s unlocking procedure is IMEI based.
ROM software is divided on two parts. One of them is OS aka Windows Mobile 2003 SE and the other one it´s Radio software.
When you perform ROM´s update on locked device it will remain locked.
To unlock your device you must contact your BenQ representatives and request for Unlocked ROM. Also you must provide your P50´s IMEI number (Needed to make a custom unlocked Radio ROM).

Hello, i've read a lot..but a cannot find a clear way to go back to my original ROM (i need to repair my baby jamin but i need my original italian rom).
I've go a G3, and i've installed the ASERG rom releases. (so i've just used NVID)
Now I've try to downgrade to the original IMATE Italian rom but there's no way.
during ROm upgrade after 1% (white screen on the jamin):
"
ERROR[326]: INVALID COMMAND
THIS NBF file cannot be used fot your PDA pHONE PLease check you NBF file"
Any Idea?
I've see http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Prophet_CID_Unlock ...and i've got PDAMobiz.com_ProphetAKU2_unlockCID.rar ...but I cannot understand why i've upgrade without any problems using NVID from 2.13 to 2.20 but i cannot go back...and i want to be sure that using PDAMobiz.com_ProphetAKU2_unlockCID.rar i'll solve my issue

Once you've had an AKU2.2 or higher on your device, you won't be able to go back to your original (AKU2.1*) ROM, unless you CID-unlock your device. You have a G3, so you're lucky you can!
But to save yourself all the trouble, I recommend you just use a stable AKU2.2/2.3 ROM.

EDIT: The RUU (ROM Update Utility) of your original ROM checks CID (security) on installation.
Because you already used AKU2.2 or higher it will fail CID-check and stop it's setup.

Thanks a lot, but i need to repair my device , so i need to install the original rom otherwise no gurantee...
When my baby will go back, for sure i'll reinstall Aserg AKU3
EDIT: Just CID_UNLOCKED and the downgrade works like a rocks...My baby can go to the doctor ;-)

You can use this way I did it many times
To return to JAMin original rom :
1- Extract your JAMin original rom ( JAMin_Arabic_213923_2139126_022021_ship )or ( JAMin_WWE_213923_2139123_022021_ship )
on your Disk top you will get two folders ( OutputFile & RUU_TOOLS ).
2- Move (nk.nbf) from ( OutputFile ) to ( RUU_TOOLS \ Prophet \ WWE ) folder.
3- Now you have the all needed files on one folder (EnterBootloader&README & ROMUpdateUtility & RUUGetInfo & RUUResource.dll)
4- You need Prophet_G4_RadioRom ( Prophet_G4_RadioRom_v2.47.21) or ( Prophet_G3_G4_RadioRom_v2.61.21 ).
4- Chang the (ROMUpdateUtility) with ( ROMUpdateUtility_No_VenderID ).
5- put your JAMin on bootloader screen the ( coloured screen ).
6- Run the ( ROMUpdateUtility_No_VenderID ) it will start update the rom. It will hang on 95%.
7- Rest it to get the bootloader screen ( coloured screen ).
8- Run the Prophet_G4_RadioRom ( Prophet_G4_RadioRom_v2.47.21) or ( Prophet_G3_G4_RadioRom_v2.61.21 ) it will up date the rome you will get 100% . Your JAMin will work again and you will get it back with i-mate rom but the SPL will not ccange it will still as it is ( SPL 2.2xxxxx001).
9- Any time you can return to te original rom you must follow this way untel some one can unlockcid or there is anew update from i-mate.
I try this way three times tody and it is working very good.

Hi all,
i'm new to these flashing things, and i need some help.
my qtek 8300 has a quite old software version and i need to upgrade it since qtek says that they dont have new versions :| my rom version is 1.0.7.0
so i need a idiot proof guide to do this and a good room, i would prefer a rom without modifications, a default rom..

Login to qtek website, download the ROM, and install it, from the website, usually is one installer, just run it

A have a strange problem with my HD2. I've installed that (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=953078) firmware after HD2_Updatable_XBmod_Yuki_v1.zip firmware. So I made it because of language (wnted to have my native russian lang ) After some time I decided to go bach to win 6.5 and I couldn't!
First of all when I'm trying to instal the original firmware it writes me Invalid model ID (244) I think that it could be because of name change in firmware, but the instructions say that this version of WP can be easely removed by Original Rom...
Than I couldn't reinstall magldr 13 the same problem with the model...
Please help! I've already tried everything that I could... All possible Roms... even the same Rom... and it writes me some mistakes.
The installed WP7 works... without SDcard...
May be someone knows what is the problem of that case? Please help (I'm a new one here so I can't write messages in the mentioned forum link)

I have a HTC 7 Pro that I bought on the internet. It is sim-unlock original but has a layer swiscom because I wanted a keyboard with qwertz (I'm used to that because I lived in Holland and lontemps was this type of keyboard). The so currently on:
OS Version: 7.10.8107.79
Number of micro program: 2250.21.51101.166
Version of the software radio: 5.71.09.02a_22.51.50.21U
Version of the loader startup: 5.11.2250.0
In short I would like to remove this rom so swiscom and put an official HTC. And by the same ocasion make interop unlock to unlock my tel.
So I have an account ChevronWP7 official because I had bought for $ 9 ChevronWP7 the official. I can install apps xap but not all ... but somtimes I get the error 0x81030120.
So my goal is not to have this message and then install what I want it. And at the same time spend a HTC official rom.
I do not really understand how. Following some tutorial as I have a spl 5.x I can not and I must make that:
