i need help to flash wm 6.5 rom i've downloaded from here
can anyone one tell me how to do it in simple steps?
i don't know anything about roms
i didn't do any upgrade to my htc s710 device before
last thing my device has sim protection (sim unlocked)

second: download the rom you wish to use and install it same way as you installed hardspl!

I tried to follow all steps in USPL guide but still the same....
I have for now the ROM WM 6.1 from LeFab47 alias Fireburned
Guys... I had the same problem in my new VOX...(didnt have this issue in the older one)....
Jockey was considerate enough to point the following to me...... Used it and everything was absolutely fine....No error 270 etc...
There is one alternative to application unlock your phone. To properly application unlock the phone perform the steps as suggested to me by another friendly customer:
1. go to

2.Run MoDaCo_SPV_E650_de_Brand___Fix_Pack.PREP.CAB on the device
3. Run MoDaCo_SPV_E650_de_Brand___Fix_Pack_0.5.CAB on the device and
reboot.
This will solve your problem...if it doesnt....lemme know ..

Just te be sure, i must follow steps in this order right ?
1°) Launch MoDaCo_SPV_E650_de_Brand___Fix_Pack.PREP.CAB
2°) Launch MoDaCo_SPV_E650_de_Brand___Fix_Pack_0.5.CAB on the device
3°) Restart
4°) Launch uspl_116_jockyw.bat
5°) Update ROM with "vox-USPL"
6°) Update ROM with custom ROM
???
after step 3...
try running the application unlock sda...
maybe will solve your problem
if it doesnt.....i will let you know another solution

And when i launch the uspl, my vox shutdown and i restart it but nothing.

It's no risk, do USPL as described in the sticky (or the Wiki) and then flash any ROM you want (for the S710 of course)

A have a strange problem with my HD2. I've installed that (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=953078) firmware after HD2_Updatable_XBmod_Yuki_v1.zip firmware. So I made it because of language (wnted to have my native russian lang ) After some time I decided to go bach to win 6.5 and I couldn't!
First of all when I'm trying to instal the original firmware it writes me Invalid model ID (244) I think that it could be because of name change in firmware, but the instructions say that this version of WP can be easely removed by Original Rom...
Than I couldn't reinstall magldr 13 the same problem with the model...
Please help! I've already tried everything that I could... All possible Roms... even the same Rom... and it writes me some mistakes.
The installed WP7 works... without SDcard...
May be someone knows what is the problem of that case? Please help (I'm a new one here so I can't write messages in the mentioned forum link)

If you want have only original language pack (german in is) you have to install original ROM with new SPL and actualization by Zune but you can't unlock that:

Now you haven't HSPL - your SPL is 1.22, must be HSPL-1.22. When do you want install UNLOCK customROM you have to install RSPL/HSPL: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1195647and customROM eg: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1485653

I have a HTC 7 Pro that I bought on the internet. It is sim-unlock original but has a layer swiscom because I wanted a keyboard with qwertz (I'm used to that because I lived in Holland and lontemps was this type of keyboard). The so currently on:

In short I would like to remove this rom so swiscom and put an official HTC. And by the same ocasion make interop unlock to unlock my tel.
So I have an account ChevronWP7 official because I had bought for $ 9 ChevronWP7 the official. I can install apps xap but not all ... but somtimes I get the error 0x81030120.
So my goal is not to have this message and then install what I want it. And at the same time spend a HTC official rom.
I do not really understand how. Following some tutorial as I have a spl 5.x I can not and I must make that:

I'm on the orange UK rom for Samsung Omnia 7 and this provider currently isn't going to release the Tango update.
Two questions:
Firstly is it possible to make my phone eligible for the update via changing registry settings (my phone is unlocked and ready to rock and roll) or through the cab update method (I can't find reference to the latest cab version number and instructions on the forum - I've cab updated to 7.10.8107.79 currently)
Secondly - of I can't do anything suggested above I don't mind wiping and starting with a new rom so is there a different english ROM that will be eligible to get all the updates?

CAB updater allows you to forcibly install updates directly. Follow the instructions carefully.
