How to make Garminfone faster?

My brother has this phone and at first it was running great but it seems to have bogged down a little. Making calls lags, multitasking lags...its kind of annoying. I was in the same boat with my Eris until i rooted it and loaded a custom rom that was default safely overlocked nearly 200mhz above stock and now my phone runs great and hes jealous. Is there anything goin like that for this phone? Or any tips to make it faster or more responsive? Hes got advanced task killer loaded and kills whatever isnt necessary but it hardly helps. It is running ADW.Launcher(donut) to repalce the crappy stock home screen/GUI as well.

[Q] Laggy Games?

So to start, this phone runs 10x smoother and faster than my Nexus One and MyTouch 4G did. However, I've noticed that games are dramatically laggier on the Sensation than my previous two phones.
This remains true for when it was stock and even now that it's rooted running the Unity Sensation ROM. I'm not sure why this could be. Would someone mind shedding some light as to why this might be?
Thanks!
Are you underclocking it??

I've got SetCPU installed running 385/1500. But it was just as laggy when it was stock without setcpu installed.

Rogers HTC One XL very laggy in games

I dont know if it is just my device but if im playing pretty much any game it is very choppy and laggy GTA 3 is constant lag cannot play because of it. temple run will miss turns and jumps due to lag. Im very disappointed with this phone i love the screen on it and thats all i can say about it right now . it heats up in minutes doing anything on it battery life is low on benchmarks its telling me the cpu is running around 1100-1200 mhz is anyone else having any of these issues with theres?
I have the HOX L from Rogers (have been for the past 2months). I can safely say that I've had no lags in games,
neither do i
I noticed your roooted and running a custom Rom have you tryed playing any these games completely stock

Synergy ROM lag issues

Welp, since i haven't posted more than 10 times I cannot post in the forum where this needs to be seen, but here it goes anyways. I'm running the most current build of Synergy ROM and noticed when I am in Google Earth, I seem to get ridiculous lag issues. I've been running Synergy since it became available on the VGS3 and haven't noticed any issues with it in the past. Does anyone else have lag issues in Google Earth while running Synergy?
I think it's just the app.... It's loading quite a bit of data. When after a location has rendered and you touch it, it has to re render things making it laggy again. Was is smooth before and you just updated and it's laggy now? I guess I've never seen it run 100% smooth ever.

Well I don't use the app often. But I feel like it ran a little smoother with the stock rom. I had actually just changed my clock frequency with No Frills CPU and had yet to reboot or anything. Seemed to run a little bit faster after the reboot.

Question about entropy

Hi guys, its been a while. I've seen a thread here discussing this and I would like to know more about it. I mean does it really work? I have Seeder installed on my phone set to lite mode. I couldn't seem to discern if its really working or not... is there some other way to find out if its really working? I got a phone running on stock JB 4.2.2, clocked at 1.2Ghz quad core with 1GB of ram and so far so good. Been playing games like Dead Trigger2, NBA 2K14 with no lag or whatsoever, of course there are occasional few hiccups every now and then when scrolling on the menus but nothing serious. The reason I installed Seeder is to make sure that it will still run smoothly in the long run. Any insights are greatly appreciated, thanks.
