Hello!
I got a small problem with a galaxy fit. It does power on and it shows a computer and a phone with an exclamation mark between them.
The only thing that is accessible is the download mode.
Now in download mode odin gets stuck at "mibib download.." and it just keeps counting the time.
Does anyone have a clue about what to do to get the phone working again?
P.S.
This is my friends phone and i wasn't with him when the accident happened, but i understood that he might have tried cu flash something and Odin got stuck and he pulled the cable.
Thank you.
you must also come into recovery ...
if you cant flash it with odin 4.38 ... (in download-mode)
Than you make an data wipe/reset and wipe the dalvik...
And the phone is not bricked

Can you please be more specific about this procedure? I'm not familiar with it.
Also a link to a tutorial would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
Can you come in recovery?
Press Power On + Home Button at once
If i press home+power it shows the same logo as just trying to switch on. I cannot use the recovery menu.

cant we use odin_multi_downloader_v4.42 , beni.ops . why it must be odin 4.38 . are there any diferences
have you used odin 1.7 or 1.8?
galaxy tab versions!!
bcoz in my galaxy tab it comes when
odin fails!
but i can solve that problem by flashing
(dbdata.tar)file!!! only in mySAMGUNG
GALAXY TAB 7 ,not tried 4 fit yet ,but
with galaxy TAB it works,
you just have to do is put(dbdata.tar)in
the first of the Odin blank row that is
(PDA)and connect Tab to pc and press
"Start"
only works for galaxy TAB ,dont knw
abt fit!!!!
but 100% work for Tab
u can try this on fit ,i dont knw wat will happen!
it may work!!

To Odin work should be installed by the driver when the phone is connected to the computer. If you can not install the driver, Odin can not work, not port may be to open.

Okay, you may try flashing creed's 1.3 using odin and then flash v1.5 over it...
Creed' s rom is any day better than the stock rom...
And if you want the stock rom only, you could redownload all your files...maybe that will help...

The fact that odin recognizes your phone means that it isn't a hard brick..
If all else fails, try asking samsung for a replacement..
Say you left the phone to charge overnight and now it rrefuses to switch on...however, this should be your last resort...
Before that, can you list in detail, all the steps you did...like which odin, which ops etc...
And was your device able to connect to ur pc before you tried this, as in all drivers were present??
Also, maybe you can try flashing cwm from this:

I have an GT-I9300 device which stucks on TWRP Recovery (teamwin logo excatly) and flashes about after 4 or 5 seconds.
No twrp options , my pc doesnt react when i plug in my phone , only download mode available and an SD Card.
Can i unbrick my phone or not ?
Hello,
Yes, you can flash your stock firmware through Odin 3.10 and fix your device. Look in the thread linked below for instructions, if the download link for your stock firmware is dead then try going to Sammobile.com and search for your stock firmware using your model number GT-I9300, download it and then follow the instructions below.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/general/restore-to-stock-rom-galaxy-s3-i9300-t2187081
Good luck.
styno said:
Hi,
you can recover the GT-I9300 completely with Samsung's own Kies. It will ask for the serial number of the phone and will download all files needed and flash it for you.
You'll end up with a complete stock phone (but with latest modem )
Good luck!

Once in download mode plug into your PC. Also make sure that you have the Samsung drivers installed. Check your device manager on your PC to make sure Windows is seeing the device.

There is nothing to worry.
It is easy to solve this.
Just download Odin in your pc.
Download the official firmware if your device here.
http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/GT-P5100/
Now open Odin In pc
Connect your device to the pc .
Now in the app under PDA browse for the firmware you have downloaded and click start.
Wait till it says pass.
That's it you have successfully solved your problem.
Now it will take some time to boot.
In case you feel that you are in a bootloop just go to recovery and perform a factory reset .

Greetings;
I don't know if you already entered Download Mode...
Most problems accessing Recovery and Download Modes are due to having the USB Cable connected.
Remove the cable; press the key combination; and it will boot.
(Except if there's some incompatible ROM flashed by mistake).
After that plug the USB Cable again (if your USB Drivers have also installed for Download Mode) Odin will recognize it (like shown in your Screen Shot).
REMEMBER:
While Flashing do NOT Remove USB Cable, untill Odin Displays "Pass" message.
Further issues: Let us know. We're would be Glad to help.

What do you mean, by not starting up. It doesn't go trough SAMSUNG logo or it doesn't turn on at all
If it doesn't turn on at all, you must flashed faulty kernel, and your device is now a paperweight

Put your phone in Download Mode, open Samsung Kies, and go to Tools/Firmware Upgrade and Initialisation.
Enter your Model name (SM-G920x) and S/N

That isn't working
It says I have to connect my device but it is connected.
I believe you have corrupted bootloader area, try to keep forcing entering download mode, if still not working you will need motherboard replacement

If you are able to enter Download Mode, pay no attention to those messages from Kies, just do what i told you.
Connect your phone while in Download Mode and go to -Tools/Firmware Upgrade and Initialisation
God....
Install drivers first, they work on Windows 10. If it doesn't work, you have another problem somewhere we don't know.
Then, download SamFirm AND NOT UPDATO, launch the software then fill the boxes like you want (model, then region (means CSC)). CHECK BINARY NATURE
Once firmware is downloaded, you flash the 4 files firmware though Odin with Re-Partition and Nand Erase All ticked, and your phone will be alive again
