I have looked at many forums for this issue. I have an HTC EVO View tablet that came stocked with Honeycomb. The only issue I have with Honeycomb is the handsfree bluetooth calling. The fix I've seen is changing the build.prop to add
service.brcm.bt.ag_supported = 1
and changing the bt.profiles to 4270403.
This worked in theory, the handsfree profile showed up but the issue is it's still not connecting to the bluetooth. I also read a forum where someone stated they made the same fix but it fully worked with the Playstation 3 official bluetooth headset, but never expounded on the last question of this forum.
Does anyone have a full fix for this problem? I love Honeycomb and am not looking to flash to Gingerbread. Thank you in advance.

My touch pro seems to have real bluetooth issues with my JVC KD-NX5000 stereo system. My kaiser worked flawlessly with it but with the touch pro it wont pair at times and when it does it wont let me use any of the many functions that the stereo offers (voice dialing, downloaded phonebook, etc) I assume this is a problem with the ms bluetooth stack and was wondering how tough of a job it would be to switch to a broadcomm stack or if anyone has thought about making a custom rom with the broadcomm stack. Just curious if Im the only one with issues with wm 6.1 and bluetooth.
i have the same problem with my diamnd anbd jvc car audio
Slightly OT rant:-
I had the opposite problem with pioneer + broadcom...
Pioneer only looks for handsets which identify themselves as phone or smartphone, and my device identified itself as a pda.
I actually told pioneer about the problem, and rather than forwarding on to the developers, I got a stock reply:-
"This phone is not on our compatibility list" (so we don't care)
So I went and got an MS based phone (you can change it to smartphone with a regedit).
Never buying pioneer again...

Similiar issue with my opel carkit.
Tried to make the broadcom stack working, but got a memory error when opening its blue tooth manager.
After uninstalling, bluetooth didn't work at all anymore, needed to perform a hard reset.
Has anyone successfully installed the broadcom BT stack on the touchpro/raphael?
I found that my Touch Pro would pair and then drop out when connecting to my Kenwood DDX5032 car stereo bluetooth adaptor. I couldn't dial from the Kenwood kit, couldn't use A2DP (wouldn't even connect), and really couldn't use any Headset Profile functions at all.
I persisted with pairing and unpairing in different ways (you can initiate the pairing from the Kenwood itself rather than the phone), but nothing really worked.
Then trinode's post about changing a registry setting sent me down that track and now everything is working fine
I found the relevant setting from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=290871, which is [HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Bluetooth\sys\COD], and then changed the HTC TP default value of '5898764' (decimal), to the value from my old Dopod838Pro, which was '5374228' (in decimal).
I didn't even need to repair the Kewood to the HTC TP - it just worked straight away, as if it said "Oh, sorry, did you want me to work? I thought you wanted me to be in 'stupid' mode! My bad - everything will work now."
So all good, and thanks to trinode for pointing me in the right direction.
Codenix.
After hard-resetting my Touch Pro to fix another separate issue, now this problem has come back and this time changing the COD value hasn't fixed it. It would appear my previous post may have attributed my success to the wrong thing
The search for the answer continues!
I found a firmware update for my Kenwood's bluetooth adaptor which fixed the problem. I don't know why it ever worked at all before this update, but there you go!
I'll create a separate thread to share this with others in case anyone else out there has a Kenwood bluetooth kit and a Touch Pro or a Diamond.
Thanks.
The thread I created re the Kenwood is at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=2835805
@ Trinode
Pioneer sent my unit back, but never told me that my phone was not supported. Where did you flag the smartphone in the registry? Did it fix the BT connection/unti reboot issue? I had a AVIC F500BT (sold it) now have a AVIC X910BT same issue as the 500 had.
@ Trinode. I found the hack , tried it, but it still doesn't resolve my issue. Are there any other mods out there for the BT Stack prob?
Hello all,
I have pulled the Bluex program from one of the other build an ion version and trying to get it on hero. But any time that I search for devices i get an error "Error in local device (power disabled?)" any one know why that it does that or how it can be fixed. any help would be geratly appreciated.
The Hero Bluetooth drivers are all messed up, that's why it's not working.
sorry 4 OT, but
imho there should be no support for apps, which you have not bought in the market!
uh..
I don't think he's trying to pirate software, I think he just wants bluetooth transfers. I understand his desire as well, as I also like transferring pics and music through bluetooth.

Yeh I am not trying to pirate software at all. It was included in one of the other builds that i have downloaded from here before. It did work on the build. I am able to use the bluetooth on the Hero rom for calls and music just that this application don't work. Just was wondering if anyone knew if I can just try and use the bluetooth files from the other build and push into the Hero rom but as I was looking over everything it does not seem to be just a overlay but a different version of the OS not just standard 1.5 with a fancy UI as I had thought. Does anyone know how that I can pull the config files from the 1.5 and put on hero I have had no luck so far.
bluetooth issues
I can get the Hero bluetooth working for stereo but it won't connect for calling.
I'm attempting this with my car's bluetootn (2009 acura tsx)
I can start a call but when someone answers, there's no sound.
Once again, bluetooth stereo works like a charm.
Tried a bluetooth stereo headset with exactly the same result,
Any ideas?

Theres usually different profiles that handle a handsfree connection to your car, and different ones that handle audio, so in this case A2DP for stereo headset. Other then that, I would know nothing else on how to go about fixing it. Unless your up for a complete reflash...

I also have the 09 tsx and been trying to get my magic to transfer my contacts to the car but doesnt work. nk02's ion rom works flawless on cars. the hero roms not so great. maybe we have to wait for the next update from google to get proper contact transferring among other profiles?
I have the same problem
and as it to see, there is no solution so far.
I have the same problem with Hero ROM.
When I want to send file this error appear: error in local device (power disabled?)
And I can not receive any file.
Can anyone solve this problem?
Hi Everyone,
I feel happy to come here; this is truly a good place to learn different android tweaks and development.
I had a very specific question about my HTC Desire. I am testing the BCM CM9 mod from the Desire sub-forum, and it said the headset should work.
However, after I flashed the rom, everything works (m2sd, apps restore) except this annoying headphone detection issue.
My Desire seems cannot detect the headset after I plugged in; no headset icon shows up in the notification, test playing music still go through speakers.
Does anybody experience this issue? I should have post this under the CBM CM9 mod thread but the 10 posts limit limits me to do that...
Anyone has the similar problem? and How can we test in Android terminal to see if the headset is detected by kernel? Thanks!
Hi guys
Like in the name of the topic i have problem with the BT Headset.
I'm using The clean android version 2.3 from joestone.(on 2.1 my bt worked fine)
Is there any way to fix the problem with the bt. I can pair it with my phone etc., but when im calling i can't hear anything ( ok i can, but only noises)
So is there any way to resolve my problem, joestone ended his project so the only hope left are you guys. Maybe i should copy files from other roms? (likes mu4ik, i readed that on his rom bt works)
I have the HK P6810. Since upgrading to the HK ICS build I noticed that my tablet no longer auto-connects to my previously paired Bluetooth speaker when I power it on. I now have to manually connect in under Bluetooth settings every time I want to use it. I didn't see any advanced settings related to this. It was great to finally get ICS, but I really miss this feature.
I also noticed some lag or interruption during music playback with Play Music (music stored locally, not streaming) at least once per use. It's just a random blip--nothing constant or unbearable, but my music never seemed to skip a beat with stock Gingerbread.
Anyone else notice these issues with Bluetooth on ICS? Am I perhaps missing something? I was hoping there was a workaround or maybe that other regional ICS builds don't have these issues and that I could flash one of them.

same as me, very annoying and I downgrade back to 3.2. I did a search on Internet because of the Bluetooth hardware incompatibility issue.
Thanks for the response. I thought of downgrading but it's really convenient having chrome browser and bookmark syncing--really the only feature in ICS I was dying to have.
I'd assume others have this issue also. Unless no one uses bluetooth speakers or headsets with their tab? Either that other regional builds don't have this problem.
Would very much appreciate more feedback in regard to ICS bluetooth experience from other users.
