Hello friends.
This is intended to be a thread providing up-to-date versions of ZTE ROMs, mainly for the very unsupported (so far) ZTE V71A and ZTE V11A, but if you have other requests for ZTE roms, please ask and I'll see if I can provide.

I'm sorry friends. I've lost access to the ZTE servers from where I procured new roms for devices.
Unless I find a different source, I can't provide any updates.
Until further notice this thread may be considered dead.
Thanks man, soo is this older or newer? http://kepfeltoltes.hu/120218/tmp_-2133757290_www.kepfeltoltes.hu_.png

Leave me your e-mail adress by pm if you want the file, but be advised that we still don't have a flashing utility to install it with, me and mobilx are still trying to figure out how we can get this software on our devices.

Zte score roms?

Okay, so here is a pdf for the huaweii media pad 7, of the flashing process and the unlmt.cfg needed is 0byte also , it is supposed to be the same process, dont use the files from here, its not for v71a or v11a!
http://www.huaweidevice.com/tcpsdownload/downLoadCenter?category=&flay=software&downloadID=NDM5NzQ=
brd912, couldn't you have just said X500 in the first place? I'll look, if I find anything I'll let you know.
zsolti, so far I've had no success with using the huawei procedure to flash our tabs, and mobilx hasn't been online today so I haven't got a clue from him about this.
The bad news is, as confirmed earlier by mobilx, the builds are IDENTICAL to what we currently have on our devices. Not encouraging at all (Verified by comparing build.prop). And we don't even know how to flash them yet...
I'm attempting to obtain a carrier unlocked nandroid backup right now, to see if it's locked at a component firmware level or at software level. Maybe we'll see some good news on that front.
Hello there,
This guide in english explains a lot. So this unlmt.cfg file actually serves as a trigger to automatik or manual update.
That means
if it is present update will start on PWR off PWR on
if it is NOT present than you need to go to the FTM mode VOL+ & PWR and update process will start
dload folder must be on ext-sd card.
Again leaked FWs for V11a are the same as ones on our devices
Sangemaru can confirm if his internal FW name on 7 inch matches with the leaked ones.
Go to yours build.prop file and check ro.build.sw_internal_version=VDF_RS_V11AV1.0.0B03 example of mine device
VDF - network - vodafone
RS - country - serbia
V11A - model - 10 inch
V1.0.0 FW version - very first
B03 - localisation ( APNs, keyboards etc) Serbian network APNs and Cyrillic keyboard
Yea, I read it.
At least for my tablet, it didn't apply. Update would not trigger, either on reboot or ftm mode, with neither UPDATA.zip or update.zip names, with the file or not, with fresh sd card format or not, development mode or not, etc.
I'm assuming it worked on your V11A, so somebody should attempt it on their own V71A's if possible. I may have messed something up, or simply have an unsupported sd card.

Hi majaelix,
Tried all proceudres described in this post with no luck updating firmware, I have a Vodafone Spain V71a with 1.0 software version.
Tired to create several folders in sd-ext and puting inside the update.zip and the .cfg file with no success
Tried to sign the zip with Signapk utility but when I try to update it from Recovery, it says: "signature check failed", I think one of the files nneded to sign a zip file is related to the recovery, so I don't know how to generate it.
Also tried to root it with fastboot boot superboot.img but my fastboot can't detect the device form pc, I'vhe checked if drivers are installed in device administration and all seems to be ok.
Did you make any advance on this issue, I'm looking forward.

Uninstall and reinstall usb drivers. Your problem is a driver issue. And how exactly did you format the system?

Hi everyone!
Got this Miphone A3 yesterday, and I been searching like a fool after information about this damn phone but it ain't a easy thing to find.
But hey, what do you expect from a cloned iphone
So here's my question:
Anyone sitting on a Miphone and have you done anything with it, most imporant for everything, ROOTED?
Phone info on the phone:
Model number:
A8
Where I bought it, it said A3 on the site (mobino1), same on the battery.
But instead of the iPhone Ui it has the Android Ui pretty sweet that it didnt have the iPhone Ui.
Firmware:
1.5
Don't have Android Market app, but everything looks like Android, also works to install . apk apps tried to install apps from 1.6+ but doesn't work.
Kernel:
2.6.25
Build number:
Linkworld Project .0002_A.1_01r_100129
Been looking for that build number for a while now, don't have any info at all on that one.
Hope some1 here has some info, would be a blessing for me!
EDIT:
I found my way into what i think is the recovery mode, came up a where is said enter flash mode put in usb cable, with red background. Then when i did that, the screen turn blue saying "Enter Flash mode, Begin to flash image..."
Been reading a lot, and i never came up with that kind of "bootloader" just saying that
hope some1 could give me some tips
hi, one of the stores provided firmware from A3, I do not know how fresh. ussd queries are unsuccessful, after ussd calls to hang up. In flash mode turns pressing the upper side volume buttons and switch.
depositfilescom/files/0po3pwcu6 - miphone A3 rom
thanks for that one!
flashed my phone, worked! but it wasnt the same version. this one was with the iphone ui (using ahome)
Model number:
A3
Build number: A3 Project.0001_18r_100411
Seems like my 3G connection does not work with this version. ussd, unsuccessful on this version too, same with previous version.
I was wondering, tried to open the one.bin (flash image) but cannot extract it. Any way to extract the image and try to reconfigure the build?
the phone using "tavor platform" flashing software, anyone know anything about tavor platform?
still trying 2 modify the rom I have, no luck so far.
I do also have this phone from mobino1...
how do you try to modify the firmware you have?
Regards,
xift
miphone a3
I too am with the same problem I have software for Tavor flashing but without success for updated the firmware is in a single bin file without being able to extract and modify
if anyone knows how do to then updated

Do you want to flash your phone with the .bin file you already have or do you want to know how to update the phone to android 1.6+?
To flash your phone with tavor flashing software, you need to run the flash program in XP and press "volume up" and "power" on the phone to get to flash mode, then plug in the usb with the flash program open, and it automatically flash the phone.
About updating the phone to a newer version of android I have not a solution.
I been trying to, get info on the hardware so I could try to cook a own rom with at least android 2.0
Cheers
sorry i don't have the firmware as a rom file either...
and these mobino1 bastards ignore me too ^^
although they admitted they could contact the developers...
new firmware would be nice... or at least the current firmware.
I did not downgrade it yet and I think I won't do that.
Another problem could be that the bootloader only runs signed firmware image (just guessing).
I know how to flash I want is a newer room the problem these Chinese are not then updated dependent on us for a updated
(question) has a possibility to use, one firmware and change to a bin file to MiPhone a3

If they just told me straight up, we just sell the phone, we don't have any contact what so ever with the manufacture or developers I would accept it. But this just pissed me off.
I've been asking around on other sites that sells the phone, waiting on answers from them. Hopefully they are more friendly.
Don't downgrade, that was a mistake for me (the rom file azat182 nicely posted).
I tried something yesterday, made a own .bin file with android 2.1 but the flash program wouldn't start with it (parse ini error) so I tricked the flash program that it would flash the one.bin (azat182) rom file.
After it opened I replaced the .bin file with mine. Everything seems to work fine, did every step it should like, root system etc finished 100% when I tried to turn the phone on I couldn't, maybe it didn't know were the power "button" source came from.
The android source was made for an other phone, so I wasn't surprised.
Plugged the usb back in, and luckily the phone connected somehow with the computer so I flash it with the (azat182) rom and I'm back at square -1
but now I think, if I could find out the hardware/drivers on this damn phone it would work to cook a own rom using that method.
Cheers
Oh hey, someone else with one of these phones. I've been messing with mine for a while, started out with the A8 rom (from fastcardtech), and have flashed the A3 rom to the device. I've noticed that the gps works a lot better in the A3 rom than the A8, so it's not much of a downgrade, imo. Recently I've made some headway with an android 2.1 port to the device.
Anyway, this device isn't hard to root. If you adb into it, you can get root from the device by remounting /system as RW and pushing a fixed su binary to /system/bin, or wherever it goes, it's been a while
The MTD partitioning in the Miphone's rom is a big giant mess. The rom is split into 25 partitions, the kernel isn't in boot.img like it's supposed to be, neither are the kernel parameters.
The bootloader is dumb, it doesn't check for signed images. The A3 image and A8 image are both engineering builds.
wow you seem to know a lot about it...
does 3g work for you in the a3 rom? also gps doesn't work for me in a8... so a3 could be a possibility if 3g worked.
how did you adb your phone? I could not connect... the driver just didn't show a phone. although I changed the vendor ids etc...
could you write a short tutorial of some sort? would be nice!
if you are root, couldn't you make a backup of your firmware?
is there a downloadable a8 rom at fastcardtech?
regards, xift
I haven't been able to get 3g working, just edge. I don't think the 3g will work in the US, as none of the carriers will work with just wcdma2100, but I'm no expert on the subject. I've had reasonably good luck with the gps with an app called Maverick, but I don't have a data plan currently, so no agps. With gps alone, it takes about a minute or so in an open area to acquire a lock.
For ADB, there's a driver in the android sdk, but don't bother with it. Instead, the phone's going to show up as a rndis/ethernet gadget. For windows, drivers for this can be found at webos-internals.org/wiki/USBnet_networking_setup, just the .inf is all you'll need; MacOS and Linux will just see the ethernet gadget. Once that's installed, the phone will show up on the PC side as a network interface that will need an IP address; I've been using 169.254.231.10 and subnet 255.255.255.0. Once your network interface is configured, you should be able to run adb connect 169.254.231.168:5555, assuming you've got your android sdk tool set up already. From there, you can adb shell in and poke around. Once you get an adb shell, you'll have a root prompt, but to get 'rooted' so that other android apps can make use of it, you'll want to run adb remount to remount /system as RW, then copy a working version of su over to the phone. I think superuser whitelist comes with one.
I don't usually go to that much trouble, as I end up cycling between the A3 firmware and my Eclair build a lot, and the A3 rom is jacked up to where it's a pain to get a terminal emulator running on it. Adb from my desktop seems to get the most mileage.
Fastcardtech didn't have any useful information about recovery firmware that they had, a release date for an android 2.1 rom, information on the manufacturer, anything.
Wow thanks a lot... I tried with the sdk driver.
port 5555 seemed blocked there although it was obviously responding (took much longer than other ports). Thanks for your help - I'll try that one.
Could you upload your eclaire build?
I don't have much time at the moment because of my bachelor's thesis. But I'd like to see that and maybe I could help a bit. Although I do not have any experience with mobile devices etc.
You may need to mess with the usb debugging option. After flashing to the a3 rom, it's enabled. I remember it being the same between the a8 and a3 roms.
At some point, yeah, I'll my eclair build up. I'd like to at least get bluetooth, gsm and wifi going again before I do. I don't have a rom that you'd be able to flash currently; more like a big pile of build scripts, and install scripts for the android system and ramdisk.
yeah I understand that. You could open a google code project or something.
nice to know that there is somebody working on this.
usb debugging is enabled by default. I'll just have to try again.
thanks for your help so far.

Hello everyone,
I have bought various Android TV boxes in the past, and haven't had problems getting them up and running.
I recently ordered 2 chinese models from eBay however, which are giving me nothing but grief. I apologize in advance for such a loooong post, but I am at my wits end and I am really hoping someone can help me out.
The action was for this model here:
www.ebay.com.au/itm/231275032090
It appeared to be a pretty standard model, like a Justop 4.0, but with a hard switch where the optical should be, and a cut down remote.
Firstly, the Specifications according to the auction:
1GB ddr3
4GB nand flash
Allwinner A20 dual core 1GHz CPU
On closer inspection after receiving the unit, an additional physical difference is that the reset button appears to be between the USB ports, instead of behind the AV out - not a big deal.
After powering it up, I am having huge problems with them.
Firstly though, what the software says about the hardware:
Advanced Settings/About Tablet:
Model Number : BBA22
Android Version : 4.2.2
Firmware Version : V2.0
Kernel Version : 3.4.39 [email protected] #10 Wed May 14 22:36:36 CST 2014
Build Number : BBA22-UI4-V2.0.1
And what Droid Info says about the (relevant)hardware:
Model : BBA22 (sdk-normal)
Manufacturer : unknown
Chipset : sun7i
RIL version : sw-dataonly-ril-0.5
Build Number : BBA22-UI4-V2.0.1
Build Bingerprint : softwinners/ninss/ninss4.2.2/NinssSoftware/20140521:eng/test-keys
OS Version : Jelly Bean MR1 (4.2.2)
SDK : 17
CPU Architecture : ARMv7 Processor rev 4 (v71)
Now, the BIGGEST issue these things have, is that at random points of use, it comes up with a message "Warning - System configuration is inconsistent with the production configuration, please contact your supplier, thank you!". This message will flash over and over again for anything from 30 seconds to half an hour. I half suspect it has tablet code SOMEwhere in it also, as it keeps coming up with 'touch the circle' walkthroughs for applications like avia. This might be unrelated though, I have no idea.
So anyway, I have tried doing the Justop 4.0 flash method with a SD card, however it will not turn on if there is a card in the slot. Also, when you hold the reset button down and power it up, it does not seem to go into the diagnostic mode so I can't flash it that way either. I am guessing the ONLY way I can update short of soldering in a serial port, is to use the backup/restore function.
I read through this whole thread here, but cound not fine anything to help me:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2398632
If anyone has any ideas, please let me know, I seriously can't get anything to work. I thought maybe the 'hotspot' being enabled was causing the incinsistency problem, but I used a process killer to stop that at startup, still no luck. Doing a system reset through advanced config didn't help either, I got the error almost as soon as turning the unit back on.
I've attached pictures of the error I am getting, the top of the board, and the back if the board.
Cheers,
Smak
PS - I am yet to hear back from the seller, but if I ever do, I will post the result here...

I seem to be in a very similar situation. My device also reports as being "BBA22" but it's a different form factor and the identification on the board is "TXCZ_A20_v1.0". I tried contacting the people that made the board (Shenzhen Tianxing Chuangzhan Electronic Co.) but they refused to help. I also tried contacting the company that made the firmware images (Shenzhen NINSS Technology Ltd.) and they also refused. The supplier I bought the device from says they have the image file but they can't seem to figure out how to get it to me (they tried emailing the +200mb file then they gave up and stopped responding). The build number on my device is "BBA22-UI4-V2.0.4" so apparently there's an update available that may work on your device.
I'm pretty sure you need to flash the image using the Phoenixsuit program to make a special sdcard that you place in the device and boot from to reflash the device.
Please post your image file if you ever get it!

That is good to know, I might email them again now. Will let you know the outcome!
OK, so I got a reply from the seller.
I've attached the patch file and the instructions to this message, but theres a few things to note.
- Its only like 20 meg big, so it isnt a full firmware update
- The instructions talk about pressing the reset button at the start.., I don;t think this is neccesary if its rooted already
- The instructions are VERY engrish-y, basically just dump the update.zip onto a sd card, and apply the patch through the settings menu
- The default language is changed to some form of Chinese after applying, theres plenty pictorials on how to change the android language though.
- The version has been updated from BBA22-UI4-V2.0.1, to BBA22-UI4-V2.0.3 - This is still lower than the one you mentioned @ BBA22-UI4-V2.0.4
So far though, I have re-installed all my apps, and haven't seen the error.. yet. I was a little concerned it is still giving me touchpad tutorials, but mouse mode on the remote is making short work of those.

That seems very promising for you! Unfortunately it probably won't help me at all... It sounds like it's a sort of update patch instead of a whole image. Starting the device with the reset button causes it to load the recovery partition instead of the regular partition (I'm guessing you saw a green android with a text menu with options for recovery). I full flashing would/could involve an SDcard, but I think you would have to create it with Phoenixsuit and not just copy the file contents over (it would then just boot directly from the SDcard and you wouldn't need to press the reset button).
In my case, both the regular boot partition and the recover partition are wrecked so I couldn't even try this patch if I wanted to.
Thanks for posting, though... Hopefully it helps someone else out.

Hmm, is clockworkmod still a thing? I could try taking a backup of my ROM and see if that's something you can use.., only problem is I will need a bit of time. If I get a chance, I'll do it over the weekend. I will need a place to dump the image though, it will be too big to attach here, can sort that out later though.

I'd appreciate that... Your board seems to have a completely different layout, but all the same components. I'm not familiar with clockworkmod, though, so I'm not sure how that backup would work. I guess I'd need to get clockworkmod flashed on to the recovery partition first and then I could flash the backup to the NAND from there?

I'm not actually too sure. The last timed I used clockworkmod was for flashing a galaxy s2 phone, so I'm not even too sure if its still around or compatible with tv boxes. There will definately be SOME sort of tool though, that can take a full backup suitable for restoring. I'm about at the limit of my knowledge, so I am sort of playing by ear and going into a google-learn-try sort of cycle as I try different things. Maybe someone with more experience will stumble in here and let us know what we need to do
This is interesting... I found another device with an identical PCB board: YBKJ_A20 (I can't post links yet, but a Google search will find it) Several chips are different so the firmware would differ. It's so hard to work with these devices when no one claims credit for making a lot of these things!
What is J4?

I was wondering what the upper left 2 pin connector is for? (the little white 2 pin plug next to the USB)
Is it SPDIF? Power input? output? Something else? I see in this picture a cable connected so i'm hoping you can tell.

So... For everyone looking for a full firmware for this box, and stumbled upon this thread from google like I did: DESPAIR NO MORE.
I found a compatible firmware for this device (exacly as described and same board as the one OP has) It will work even if your box came preinstalled with another software version, but its the same hardware
Found it in another thread, posted by @daaviles30 Its not EXACLY the same as the one I had originally loaded but appears to work without any issue whatsoever (even the remote works), if a little bit better.
So here it is:

Wow.
The Phoenixsuite makes an sdcard that flashes the internal memory. After it's finished flashing, you take the card out and it runs off of the internal NAND. That's it. It never runs the Android from the sdcard.
My device can boot from sd-card!!! I need to flash this to install your android!

Hi,
Whenever you insert a micro SD card in the device, the device the same complains or can not connect to download images, videos, music ...
The device we complains micro sd card but can not do anything with it. From the Play Store I downloaded the app "ES File Explorer". When transferring the images from internal memory to micro sd card, notice was that it must be the root device.
How to root the device, have you anything to it?
external sd-card ist useable without root
You dont need root to use an external sd-card. But you cannot write directly into the external sd-card for security reasons. Only installed apps are allowed the store their data there.
When you insert the sd-card, android put a folder named Android/Data into the root-folder of the sd-card. Apps who are modified for external sd-card use, put their own folder in there, which is writable only for this app. For instance, my navigation app store its data to the external sd-card.
If you want to copy your music to the external sd-card, you have to use a computer. The phone is mounted as external device. Then drag and drop your mp3 to the external sd-card. I have made a folder Music on the external sd and copyied my mp3 collection in there.
Greetings
hannesausmwald
My original question about rooting the device is not for storing data on SD. It is more about controlling the device and be able to make a proper backup. Under my control.
So the question still is How to attack this problem. Searching leads to a lot of unusable approaches. (Mostly because they reference OLDer firmware. This firm ware is from last summer).
If more info is needed please indicate what is needed.
Hi noci2,
I've succesfully rooted my S50 with Root Genius BUT new OTAs may not work.
In my case the new update (LTE_S0201121.0_S50_0.017.00_E01) has unrooted the phone and left it crippled (root is lost, partly removed and can't be gained till now and worst thing is: I can't update/root/unroot the phone hence I'm stuck with the 0.016 firmware). Anything else works fine so I'm just waiting for a stock rom + recovery / flash tool + image of the original firmware to undo the "damage" (no root and no updates).

P.S.: I would be very grateful if anybody could support a backup image or something (one day)

New OTA? My baseband number is LTE_S0201121.0_S50_0.015.00 and a new update is not available till now via OTA (here in Europe/Germany) What is changed?
I would like to have a backup image too.
Well, that's odd. I'm living in Germany, too.... maybe it depends on your carrier (mine is o2). In version 0.016 the Cat App Store was removed (I've contacted the support and they told me that it'll be back in 0.017 with some improvements). Further LTE was optimized (in 0.016).
Summary:
0.015 - base firmware
0.016 - first update (LTE improvements and Cat App Sotre removed)
0.017 - Cat App store should be back and maybe some minor changes (size is 45,4MB) ... and I can't test it :crying:

Hi Kevin,
I am also an o2 - customer, so that cannot be the reason. I will contact the support. Maybe they can tell me whats wrong.

Hi guys,
I'm on 0.016 as well and it shows me I can upgrade to 0.017, but it always fails (download - reboot - after reboot there is a message in notification area, saying that upgrade failed). Do you know more about this?
Regards
I'm in Holland, no OTA available
mine only gives "server error" when explicitely checking if an update is available.
Hi herdt,
I've got exactly the same problem with the update. Seems like my "partly rooted" ROM isn't the troublemaker after all. Maybe there's a flaw in the OTA itself?
Hi!
I am in Estonia and today I got my first update (had .15). It installed successfully and now I have _0.017.00. I had only tried rooting it before with towelroot which failed.
Framaroot still shows Aragorn as only option. Towelroot fails.
Cat appstore looks the same.
Kernel version: 3.4.0-gd73c047-dirty
Hey guys!
Same problem in Switzerland. Unrooted so far (though have been desperately trying to). No OTA yet, still on 015. OTA update doesn't complain when checking for updates, just saying that none are available. Had to turn off LTE since it has been pretty volatile.

I wrote to support and asked about the OTA 0.017.00 The support-staff member wrote me back, that this update is only available via OTA, but not for all regions. The availability depends on the CID-Number which is displayed when you call the #02# (Mine is E01) When the update is available I will get a push message.
On my further askings, on which point in time I will get the OTA and about the purpose to upgrade the phone to Android 4.4.4 or 5, comes nothing concretely. Version 0.015.00 is up-to-date, wrote the staff-member, and I will get a push message. Upgrades are not decided till now.
But when it is up-to-date, why we have other users like borstie22, who has got 0.016.00 via OTA?
I think they are momentarily a little bit confused themselves. My S50 is also E01 and I get an update notification (0.017) but the support told me that 0.016 is the current E01 firmware yada yada yada ("you'll get a push message when the time has come").
Once again: I think we need the help of some clever xda-developers to unleash the true performance of this phone and it's software (Bullitt seems to be somewhat overchallenged with that).
borstie22
Got the E01 (0.015) as well, no updates so far. I'm really looking forward for it since it will hopefully solve the terrible LTE instability I'm experiencing, in general the network (voice as well) is much worse than my old nexus 4. Do you guys made the same experience or is yours stable? I already asked for a 2nd (new) SIM but got the same flakiness. I guess its time to contact support.
Edit: I just realized they don't even list the s50 in their support section nor in the contact form. Weird.
I haven't had any issues, but that support thing is a bit weird. I tried contacting them through contact form, regarding windows USB drivers to get the phone recognized for ADB. There was no response at all.
Stumbled on this thread looking for root, as It would've been Ok for me to read logs from phone directly.
Driver problem got sorted by updating SDK and explicitly telling Windows to use the generic android drivers that came with it.
That doesn't sound very promising. I just ordered my s50, should arrive tomorrow. I'll report back what CID and firmware I have and if I can update.
The LTE thing doesn't sound good at all.
So I sent them an email 2days ago late in the evening and got a reply concerning the LTE issues this morning: They basically recommend to turn LTE off which indeed improves the stability, no random blackouts anymore but general network reception (voice calls) is still beyond good and evil. My dear co-workers with other phones and LTE enabled have no problems at all (same carrier, same place, same contract). About the missing S50 info/support on their site: They're working on it. Anyway I just replied to see whats going on with the updates, lets see. Well at least they answer to support requests :good:

You got any news on your device? LTE works fine?
Lots are talking about firmware update, but what about actual root ?
Finally, after a series of studies and tests not always gone well, it turns out the first alternative to the official firmware ROM.
Unfortunately we are not yet able to have control on the terminal, since no one on the horizon hopes to release source code, but surely it is still a revolutionary firmware, and although it is a photocopy of the stock firmware, once installed you will not need to make any other changes especially.
Nuff said, I shall list the features of this ROM, as amended and then inside:
PERFECT ROM V1:
1) Based on the latest version of the stock firmware (31/12/2015);
2) Root included;
3) BusyBox included;
4) Recovery TWRP included;
5) BOOT.IMG unlocked;
6) Firmware fully translated into Italian (some applications had not the Italian language);
7) Customizing the boot logo;
8) Customization of the animation in the opening;
9) Make changes to build.prop;
PERFECT ROM V2:
1) Based on the latest version of the stock firmware (28/01/2016);
2) Root included;
3) BusyBox included;
4) Recovery TWRP included;
5) BOOT.IMG unlocked;
6) Firmware fully translated into Italian (some applications had not the Italian language);
7) Customizing the boot logo;
8) Customization of the boot animation;
9) Make changes to build.prop;
10) Removed applications "CallerId Search", "JIAJINAgingTest" and Launcher iBingo (potential sources of malware);
11) Added launcher "Smart Launcher" to replace iBingo (optional and uninstallable);
12) Added Chronos widget (in system);
13) Added notification tones.
IMPORTANT!!!
The V2 version was released in 2 versions:
1) FULL VERSION FIRMWARE - full Firmware of all its parts, ideal for those who want to flash the complete firmware and especially for those who do not possess the V1 version of " Perfect ROM ";
2) VERSION UPDATE - The same firmware, but which inside contains ONLY UPDATES from version 1 to version 2. Designed for those who already have the V1 version and wants to upgrade to the new firmware version, without losing anything.
Whatever version of the firmware you chose to put, the ROM is flashed as if it were in effect an official firmware, then using SP Flash Tool.
Council staff, it is a ROM-based firmware official, who wanted to avoid losing your personal data (applications, etc.), can make advance the backup of your existing firmware and, after you install and configure this, restore its back-up created ONLY PART OF USERDATA !!!! You will have the new firmware, but with your personal data. On how to back up, I refer you to post already abundantly treated on site.
I avoid putting screenshoot, would not make sense as a question of changing the official firmware that we all know.
Since this is a first version, I think it goes without saying that all users are welcome tips, questions, clarifications, report problems and mistakes and all you can relate to this ROM ONLY.
NEW!!!
Menu Reboot original
I have created the file "Reboot original" in order to don't have anymore the reboot menu in italian language. This file you can use ONLY ON "PERFECT ROM V2". I'm not sure that will work if you use it on V1 version.
This is the file to flash with TWRP: Reboot original

Yes, is correct....if you flash this "PERFECT ROM" you'll never need to improve others mod, because all the mods (root, recovery, busybox, etc) are integrated in my ROM.
I called the ROM in this mode, because you non need to do anithing after the installation!!!
P.S. I'm sorry for my poor english

Can I install your Perfect ROM with the other SP_Flash_Tool_5.1532? If yes, where can I find the instructions to install the full ROM as a firmware upgrade? Are they the same as for installing just TWRP as you describe in your other post?
Thank you in advance

@cuvetto
Using firmware-upgrade, and all boxes ticked?)
Like this (see attachment)

Did that and went OK.
Your translating efforts went a bit too far: even when I choose Portuguese language there are some things in Italian!

how to format the stock rom
hi...i want to format the stock rom because i installed accidentally a malware from playstore that i cant delete with any malware software and the only thing i can do now is to deactivate the file that is infected.
1)i know hot to root the phone but i must first delete the virus...can i format the stock rom with SP Flash Tool?
2)to install perfect rom i just have to download it with sp tool and thats it?
2)if i root the phone ulefone says that we cant receive any updates....so if i choose to install the official updated rom how can i get any future updates? i read somewhere that i can have updates if i reinstall the official flashing Tool v3.1504 , is it true or must i do something else to have updates?
3)can you suggest me any good malware software to avoid future infections.
thanks for your time.
"Perfect ROM V 2.0"
Available on the first page, version "FULL FIRMWARE", designed for people who want to flash the full firmware.
For those who already have the 1.0 version, I'm uploading an "UPDATE" version where there is the opportunity to flash only the changes between the two versions.
Both have to be flashed with SP Flash Tool and you can not flash through recovery. Obviously those who make the UPDATE, do not lose anything, the only changes will be the improvements of the last released firmware (28.01.2016).
IMEI issue
Hi, I downloaded and installed the V2 full rom without any problem... when the phone booted the first time I noticed that there was no signal for either sim cards. I dialed #*06* and saw there was no imei on either. I search on the web for a solution and found a program called "Maui META 3G" and with it I could write the two imei numbers on the phone again... I thought that with this procedure the problem would be solved, but only the first sim card is working, the second one is recognized by the phone and it ask me wich sim card i want to use for calling, data connection and sms, but no signal for the second one... then thinking that the second sim was broken I swapped them and the same happend, the second one was not working and the first one was working. both imei are good now but the sim card I put on the second slot does not works.
Can you help me please?
Hi Cuvetto,
great work creating a custom rom, intend to install this weekend, but i don't want to get into trouble like intolko.
Shoud IMEI also be backed up with MtkDroidTool and should after flashing your rom also be restored like userdata ?
And what about mac address, need that also user attention or should that be no problem ?
Thanks for any clearance,
Shotfac

I think that you flashed the rom using "Format all+download" and in this mode, you lose your IMEI.
To restore your IMEI, you can also use other procedure (MobileUncle is an App for this, but don't take it from Playstore, Take it from internet or blackmarket).
I'm sorry for your problem, but noone installed my rom had IMEI problem.

If you want, you can create a bak-up of your IMEI with MobileUncle, (I suggest to do everybody, is a safety procedure)
MTKdroid, doesn't work with our smartphone, you can manage our smartphone, with MobileUncle (take it from blackmarket or internet, not on playstore).
Many people ahve installed my rom, and never noone have lost the IMEI, maybe intolko has made confusion during the flashing procedure.
Dear Xda members,
I have an big problem since yesterday (22 july 2017). Accidently I deleted an directory on my gallery with 200 images.
It was a big mistake and I need this images back. Is there any way to recover these deleted images?
I have used a program with the name: diskdigger. But this program let me recover pictures with thumbnail format. I want original format or better quality...
You would help me so much if you can help me with this problem!
Using a Samsung Galaxy s6 Edge
Thanks in advance.

download diskdigger from play store and run that its really good at getting deleted photos back
oh snap i didnt finish reading your post sorry thats about the best way i know without paying

Same here.
Whole day searching, PhotoRec, DiskDIgger, Rooting, Knox, ROM, UMS ... getting dizzy..
Boils down to: no root no chance.
I have searched and found for my phone a reasonably simple way to "root it", but it says "Beware, this is risky, know everything before proceeding, knox will be tripped and brick could hit you." just before the download button. (here: desktop.firmware.mobi/device:403/firmware:16678/cfar )
And then if I take this risk, I could still see nothing in PhotoRec, as nothing is certain in this realm.
Is there a guide somewhere for this avail?

yes, this does really boil down to "no root = no chance" sadly. The only thing you can do is turn it off like said above to avoid the phone writing 1's and 0's in the spot where the picture data physically resides as the directory manager doesnt know its there anymore since it was "deleted". You have the 920F, so you should be able to root it. Its out of warranty anyways, so IMO, its worth a shot
