Looking for a battery tester - HTC Sensation

Hi I am a eBay seller and someone told me that I can sell the Evo 3d/Amaze 4G battery for use on the G14.
Before I advertise the battery, I would like to find someone that is using that phone.
I will send a battery for free(USA and Canada only). (1 only need one person)
I would like to know if it is working using the original backdoor. (The battery seem to be a little thicker than the OEM Sensation 4G.
Here is the battery I sell:
ebay.com/itm/280812034436
These battery are reputable Andida Brand that are rigorously tested by the manufacturer. So there is no risk for your phone.

[Q] Anyone know of a trusted seller on ebay for batteries?

Anyone have a good experience from a specific ebay seller for batteries? I've been wanting to get a spare but I'm so wary of ending up with a fake and/or defective battery that will damage my phone. That said, I really don't want to dish out $100 for one from my carrier either. Even if someone knows where I can pick up an OEM battery for a decent price (ie not $100) it would be greatly appreciated. I'm with Telus, so don't know if there are any good places for OEM's in Canada. Thanks in advance!
PS: not looking for an extended life battery, just a regular one.
Vzw website, 39.99 gets u a battery plus charger and a splitter to charge both at the same time.
so fresh and so superclean.
Thanks, I hope they'll ship to Canada, if so I'm in business
edit:
No such luck, only US =(
I purchased the spare battery system from mrhitonline on eBay and it's legit. I'd link you to it, but the board does allow me to due to my non-existant post count.
Got two batteries and charger from dailypc on amazon. Not oem but damn good purchase. Best decision I made for this phone. 25 bucks too

Is the Telus Fascinate's battery the exact same as the Verizon Fascinate's? I'm not sure if that's the case since they are fairly different for phones that have the same name. Just wanted to point that out since everyone is suggesting VZW stuff.
I use EBay on occasion, however I just purchased this 3500mAH battery from Amazon...gonna try it out
http://www.amazon.com/EXTENDED-BATT..._21?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1294695593&sr=1-21
By default the phone will ***** about an unsupported battery if you try to charge it. Even most modified kernels out there don't have the code that checks to make sure your battery is Verizon approved removed, and will refuse to charge batteries not specifically made for the Fascinate.
I am using a $6 battery made for the i9000 and just got it charging tonight, but it required a modded kernel and I'm afraid it'll blow up or something. Thanks Verizon

where to find a genuine oem battery?

just for extras ya know?
When I called HTC for a battery cover replacement, I told them I also need a warranty replacement for the battery since it doesn't last for 4 hrs on a full charge. They sent me replacements for battery, battery cover & sim cover. I had the phone over 30 days.
Didn't work for some people here. But maybe calling on a Saturday and talk to a lady Rep might make a difference. I forgot her name though. She was very helpful.

I saw one at shop.htcpedia.com, seems pricey but looks to be oem. I don't know anything about them, I've been searching for the same thing myself. Does anyone have any experience with this shop?

Same here. I called twice separately. Once for Battery cover, other for Battery. Got both in less than week.

Any experience with those? They look like rebrands of the chinese ones that I've heard aren't very good.
Best way to get an OEM battery? Call HTC and complain about the battery life and ask to be sent to the accessories dept. Ask them about an extended battery and when they tell you there isn't one (because of course, there isn't), ask them to send you a new stock one to replace the one you have, since you know, it might be defective. I didn't even have to ask for one and they shipped me one with a new cover for free.
Buy another Inspire 4G.
anyone know the true rating of those "1600MAH" ebay batteries I got 2

[Q] Decent source for batteries?

Anybody have a good source for cheap SK4G batteries? Share here, please!
so, upon searching for the serial number on the batteries - it appears that it is the same as was used for the Intercept - can anyone confirm this?? i may just hop into a sprint store to see if they will let me test one or something.
Link to battery on Amazon:

Good detective work! I just ordered a cheap knock-off from eBay:
(Link removed. These cads jacked their prices up five-fold after I linked them here. Just search eBay for "Samsung Incept battery")
It's shipping from Brooklyn, so hopefully I should have it in a couple days. Will report back.
Perfect! Let me know - I didn't get a chance to go to the store to see if Sprint had any. The Intercept not being a current phone makes me think they probably wouldn't have one anyways.
my wife has the dreaded samsung intercept and i will look at the battery in my sk4g this weekend and report back!
Great news! My Samsung Intercept clone battery has arrived and I can confirm that Intercept batteries work in the Sidekick 4G!
More info:
Shortly after the Sidekick 4G was released moonrock noticed that the part number on the SK battery was the same as the part number listed online for the Samsung Intercept's battery.
I took a chance and ordered one from a seller on eBay, and it works! It's currently running my phone.
Two notes: I don't recommend the eBay seller I used. They raised their prices five-fold when I linked them here. I've deleted that link. Just search for a Samsung Incept battery.
The battery I received is marked as 1500mah, but it weighs 15% less than the stock battery (27g vs 31gr) so I can't imagine it actually has the same capacity. Most aftermarket batteries are crappier than the OEM one, but at least they're cheap crap! Buyer beware.
AWESOME news, thank you for confirming!!!!!
good source
find people with broken phones and offer a few bucks for the battery. i usually end up getting them for free because once a phone breaks people instantly go buy a new one. smh i actually just got a battery out of a broken transform for free the other day

So i bought this new original battery...FAKE! (www.htcaccessorystore.com)

My battery has been lasting about 30 minutes tops in the last time so i decided to buy a new one (looking back i remember the battery beeing sticky on the back as if something had leaked..).
Got a first one on amazon, obviously fake since it was poorly made, although differences were subtle (the fakers seem to have gotten their hands on the original labeling foils, so these were identical). Also i got weird results in Nexus One battery calibrator app , e.g. 104856mAh for a 1.400mAh battery (see screenshots). Long story short, i sent i back thinking it was impossible to get a genuine batteries on amazon...
So i turned up the official HTC store (cant post the link.. htcaccessorystor dot com) and ordered a Bravo Battery...and was really surprised to see the same allegedly faked values in the Nexus one battery calibrator app....also de foils werent attached tightly in some places and just now wenn i took it out with my fingernail a piece of foil came off. my original htc battery came with the phone 3 years doesnt have a scratch and shows completely different and realistic values. After ~14h of usage (mostly standby) the new battery is now down to 10% and demanded the charger...(not that bad actually but still, with my custom rom it should last a lot longer).
So now I´m asking myselft whether even they are selling us the fakes or what?! Or maybe the fakes have become too good so even they can´t tell lol...
Do the "strange" values from the app prove that the battery has been manipulated?
where are my attachments? edit: there they are...
hey blaxxxun44
Have a look to this screenshot from my phone with a so called "official" battery :
I get two "official" batteries with the same symptom before so I stopped to search anymore.
I get full refund for defective or fake item from the two sellers but this one come from HTCaccessories too ...
maybe I'll buy a mugen power if this one dies ...
Last one with 1 year last 15min... I buy a original battery too and going to receive in 1h (DHL)... Any advice for first time charging?
Interesting..what app was that screenshot with?

buying "original" batteries here in germany is like a lottery (unless you want to pay 30€ in a HTC online store)
its a lot of trial and error until you find a battery that fits well in the phone AND lasts like a real original...
As it seems that I lost my second battery some days ago, I will need to go through this again in the coming weeks.
Wish me luck guys

Replacement battery for HTC Saga (India)

Hey Guys,
I know this has been asked a lot of times already, but all those links point to international sites. There are a number of batteries available on ebay.in but I'm really skeptical about them.
So I was wondering if any one of you have bought one of those or from any other source and satisfied with the battery, would you please share the links?
I might buy a new phone eventually, but I want to keep this one alive It's not easy to give up on this guy!

Well if you are going for quality, buy an original one. Just google htc store. If you want something propably better go for mugen. These are expensive choices. If you want something cheap there's no big difference really, or no tests availble, so just buy the one that has the color you like.
I got my replacement battery and it has 4hours + of screen on time, which is sufficient till the next charge and enough to last me a day with heavy usage, Epower. But i think i got a bad bargain, seems a bit pricy, but more than a few months now, and the battery seems durable and it didnt explode
Someone please provide a link to any trusted product. And it should be available in India.
I bought one from eBay which supposed to be original but the new battery got quickly discharged after a few cycles and now it is also inflated. In need of a good battery.
Thanks for the help in advance.
Go to ebay and search "Replacement 2450mAh Battery for HTC Incredible S G11 Desire S G12 A7272 DesireZ" I have this one from hi-etech. No problems at all.

It isn't available in eBay India. And wherever it is available, the shipping costs are more than the product's cost.
Thank though! ☺
I bought a 2450 mAh GOLD BATTERY from eBay back in September 2013, it's still going strong. The battery was made in Japan but I bought it from a UK seller (as I live in the UK). I believe it says it's for the Desire Z on it, but both phones use the same batteries so it's fine.
So, were anyone of you able to get a replacement battery in India? Links will be really helpful!
