Interesting app so far, I especially like the photo part, because people often are misidentified based on what's in their wallet. I just noticed a few minor ways the app could be improved from a medical perspective. First, it's dangerous to default to "None" for allergies, as there's little way to tell if someone doesn't have any or didn't enter any (and an ER doc is prone to copy that "None" into the medical record, and other doctors are unlikely to ask again). Also, for allergies, it's more useful to have a list containing the drug and what the reaction was. The difference between a side effect, adverse reaction, and allergy are difficult for people to understand, so the nature of the reaction tells medical people what really happened.
For example, if someone is having a heart attack and they list "Contrast dye allergy" then there are two very different possibilities. One is an anaphylactoid reaction where they go into shock and respiratory failure (true allergy). Another is renal failure (an adverse reaction due to known nephrotoxicity). The management of the two is quite different, and both have harm that can be somewhat mitigated if it's known beforehand.
Additionally, other useful information would be current medications (Name, Dose, Frequency, Route, and how long you've been on it), and the name/address of one's primary care doctor and others with medical records on you. Past surgical history (e.g. clean cath in 2010, appendectomy in 1990) also saves time. More identification and insurance information might also be useful, albeit irrelevant for emergency medical care (helps with getting records though).
All that said, in all likelihood, EMS or an ER doctor won't spend more than a minute or so skimming the information so everything has to be concise and obvious in how to use. Plus, most medical emergencies are managed the same way initially, so a lot of this information comes into play later, when most people are responsive (unless it's really bad, like head trauma after a car accident). Speaking of which, you may consider adding some vague living will type information for guidance, albeit something legally binding is beyond the scope of such an app.

Using the contact application on my Galaxy Note does not add contact in your apps. Maybe an intend bug ? have to remove your apps for now :/

Can't add contact from people app. But good job overall.

+1!
This is very important info for this app, which I like very much! Please incorporate this in the app. i realise that it will be bigger and perhaps slower, but I think too that this is very important.
PS I sent you a mail, offering help for translating in Dutch.
Greetz, good luck,

@Katt50 - Yes, most of your suggestions will be added, but it needs time. So be patient

Is there any way to incorporate this info into the lock screen?

What about to add shortcut to Lockscreen and information of Medical Insurance?
My suggestion....Good job!!
Regards

Two things that I think would make this app even better:
- a widget for the home & lock screens
- the ability to backup/restore the information
Thanks for developing this - great app!

Yes, there is a widget in works. It should be available later this month, so you'll be able to incorporate some information into lockscreen or homescreen.
The idea with backuping and restoring data is great. I'll work on it, but it has lower priority for now than other ones, because it doesn't have huge influence on I.C.E. situations

I posted one screenshot on my website (shown below)
You can download the game from my website!

Let me know how it goes.
I haven't had a chance to play this a lot. I don't like the vibration, which occurs even when the phone is in silent mode.
I am fairly certain the vibration signals the computer moving. Perhaps a quick pop up or something could instead let the user know about the ai.
Sent from my SPH-D700 using XDA App
The vibration and/or beep signal the beginning of a human turn. I intended this to alert you to pass the phone to someone else if you're playing with friends. These can be controlled based on your android settings ("Audible selection" and "Haptic feedback" under "Sound settings.") I'll add an option to override those in the application.
I have a new version (almost ready) that adds a bunch of minor features, including a turn log as you suggested. It also lets you set player names and colors, and have a combination of human and ai players.
I have a buddy working on some new textures. Saying he's a better artist than me is an understatement. See screenshot above
I have a short list of bugs to fix and some things that came up in testing. I'll have another release out within a day or so.
Ah, I understand that now. When playing alone it seemed pointless, but I can see how it would be useful with friends.

Check out my updated version on the market!
Here are the most significant features as of release r4:
* Set number of points to win game
* Show past game results
* Persistent settings and player names
* Turn log
* Crash and stall fixes
i really like where this is going!
used to love the game and this version is getting my attention
two things about the current version:
the "build town" button shows because i have the right recources (i guess, see my second point) but i am not able to build one because of the rules (i've only got my two initial towns and roads so i need a road first)
-> shouldn't the "build town" button show only when i am really able to build one?
i used to play the real game a couple of years ago. got used to having my "resources-trading"-card (how many x do i need to build y) visible at all times so i could glance at it while trading. i see that you implemented a menu showing when pressing the menu button in the last version (good start by the way, wanted to suggest that too) - it would be great if you could implement another button in the menu that shows to display the "resources-trading"-card (for lack of a better name)
more feedback to come.
EDIT: see below
i need a statusboard with the following information to make decisions and refine strategy:
- player points
- how many resources a player has (not how many in each category but in total - i think according to rules this is possible)
- all the stuff displayed on my own info-screen (in-game-menubar -> "info")
a suggestion where to place this: remove "info" and "turn log" from the in-game-menubar.
instead display "status" (or whatever name) to the left of "options".
status is a full-screen display of player stats.
via tab it is possible to switch to the other players, per default my own information is displayed (like when pressing "info" in the in-game-menubar)
(very) rough mockup attached.
new post because it's getting too long
_especially_ when moving the robber i need to know those things:
how many points and how many cards does everybody have?
what's the cost of a town/road/etc.?
another thing, sorry for the massive amount of stuff i just thought i'd get it all out now that i'm at it
right now i am in posession of all the right resources (lumber, wool, grain, brick) and i have a sweet spot where i want to put this town.
the thing is - the button to do it is not there!
those buttons are showing:
1st row: Info - Trade - End turn
2nd row: Buy or use card - Build road
"Build town" is not there!
is there any way to provide you with debug info for cases like this?
maybe it would be possible for you to integrate a debug option that saves the current state of the game in a txt-file i could send you, or something like it.
EDIT: i wasn't able to build towns or cities for the rest of the game.
at some point (couple of turns later) i also lost the ability to build roads, even though i had enough resources.
EDIT2: i was able to build cities, but no more towns and roads.
is there some rule that restricts the amount of towns and/or roads i forgot?
EDIT3: this has to be a rule i don't know about. in another game i am now able to build roads/towns/cities as i like.
i just move the robber because i rolled a 7.
the game offered me to steal from either of two players because they had cities where i placed it.
one player had 0 resources the other had 3.
why bother to show the player with 0 resources?
a confirmation when building roads would be great - i was very sure of my placement but build two roads in the wrong spot because of clumsiness
oh and i'd like to help with the german translation.
Freaking Awesome!!!
Freaking Awesome!!!
I love, love, love, love this game!
Thanks for all the feedback Emelie! I'll try and respond to most of it here.
Status windows
First off, I like your idea of the consolidated status window. My thought is to keep the (optional) popup turn log so you can see what happened since your last turn at a glance, but then replace the info and turn log buttons with a merged version.
Your mockup looks good. My approach has been to avoid showing any information that can be found by looking at the board. I think the status window shouldn't tell you much that your opponents in the real board game don't have to tell you. The big thing is that it shouldn't show victory points - I think a big part of the game is in speculating this for yourself. More importantly, there are the "victory cards" that aren't shown to other players until you declare that you've won. Of course you need the information such as the number of development cards that each person holds so you can make your speculations.
A quick building costs dialogue that is always available would probably be good. I put it under trade and that was good enough for the time, but I'm not 100% happy with it - it's on my todo list.
Interface
I'd like to add an undo option after building. After I added zoom and long press support I found that I don't make mistakes, so this became low priority. Of course this would help with people learning the interface. It would also probably help to have "toast" (the small popups in the lower third of the screen) prompts to tell you what to click ("double tap to zoom in, then long press to build your road" or something.)
When you steal from someone, I decided to show the full list so it is more obvious why it doesn't let you steal from someone. My ideal interface design would be a dialogue like that, but with the 0 resource players disabled and greyed out, however I don't think that's possible without going to more depth. Maybe I'll change it from a dialogue to a full activity (info and turn log are dialogues that pop up, trade and options are full activities - you'll notice that they don't disappear when you rotate the screen; I went to great lengths to ensure that the steal dialogue comes up again if you do this.) Let me know if you have other ideas, or even a mock-up.
Usability-oriented design is important. I'll admit that much of my design is based on what was either most obvious to do while developing it, or what is fastest to use when clicking through the game really fast. My preview-2 release was really quick, but has poor usability.
Rules
The board game has 5 settlements (which I call towns since it's shorter and screen space is valuable on a phone) 4 cities, and 15 roads. This forces you to use a more diversified strategy to get points, so you can't just build 10 towns and win. When you build a city, you do get 1 town back. This is implemented but my game doesn't really tell you about it (except maybe in the instructions if I included that.) I think I'll include something like this in the status window "towns: 3 / 5" or similar. Maybe keep the button when you can afford it, but give you an error message when you click it explaining why you can't build a town.
Translations
In android, you typically put all your strings in an xml resource file. Some of my generated text dialogues are hard-coded though. I'll try and move more of those into the xml file so they can be translated too. The buttons at the top will be more annoying to support translations for.
Here are the countries with the most users: US, UK, Canada (all english) then Germany, Netherlands, France, Sweden, Denmark (order not exact.) I'll try and do a french translation as an example.
For those willing to help, I'll make it really quick and easy. Send me an email at [email protected] and I'll get you set up.
Debugging
About dumping debug info, the easiest way is for you to describe exactly what you did. Include the stage of the game; is it the first turn? where are you in the turn order? how many ai players? what buttons did you click? did you rotate the screen half way through?
If it crashes or hangs, the best way to help me is to give me a stack trace. If you're using the market version, there's a button to submit it automatically. Add a message telling me what was going on in case I can't guess. So far the only person who added a comment just said "the game crashed again."
If you get to a point you don't think is right, you can try to produce a stack trace showing that too. This is a bit tricky though since it actually needs to be in a point in my code, rather than android runtime. The procedure is to run "adb shell" then kill the application (use "ps" to get the PID, then "kill -9 PID_NUMBER") then check "adb logcat" and send me the stack trace if it's useful (check for class names within com.settlers.) If this doesn't make sense, don't worry about it.
Thanks!
Going to give this a go, catan is a very addictive game, kudos for bringing it to Android!
yeah i like your detailed answer! going to reply at the end of the week - massive pile of work to take care of.
in the meantime - i'd like to do the german translation, PM/post instructions so i can proceed! sent you an email
love your game

BACKGROUND
Hi,
more than 6 years ago (I was 18 to that time) I developed my first Android app which happened to be a blood alcohol calculator, because to that time I personally saw the need for a proper app for that matter, LOL (I'm a German, you know...). This project has grown over the while, and after I've had quite a long pause from working on this project (more than two years), I now refocused on it and brought my app into the year 2018.
AlcDroid is more or less popular in Germany, occasionally getting name-dropped in some German articles from newspaper media or whatever, especially now when it comes to Christmas and New Year and everybody's about to drink a ****-ton of alcohol. And even though Germany is not the only place where there's party at Christmas and New Year and stuff, it is less popular in other parts of the world though, so I would love to read what for example the English-speaking community has to say. This may sound a bit naive, since an alcohol testing app might be considered as rather simple and universal, but there are some things I do not know too much about, like units (fluid ounces and stuff), and while I have implemented those features in theory, I am not too confident about how they turn out in "real life".
So let's get to the fancy part of feature lists, download links and landing pages.
FEATURES
* intuitive, slick interface following Material Design guidelines
* day / night mode (dark and light theme)
* notification widget
* line chart showing blood alcohol content metabolism
* detailed stats (weeks, months, years)
* takes many individual factors like age, gender, height and weight into account
* supports presets for a fast and intuitive usage
* can be used immediately, no lengthy configuration needed
* supports different units in size, weight, drink volume etc.
* drinking history (keep earlier dates)
DOWNLOAD
* Find AlcDroid Alcohol Tester on Google Play.
* Find the app website here.
Cool! Gonna try this out today

Looks great!
Problem that I found is that I can't enter fractions into the percent field, and sometimes when adding drinks, the graph isn't updated, just when I try to zoom it.
Some suggestions:
The graph could be automatically sized, when changes made to the inputs, to be entirely visible, not to start in the middle, and actually see the end of it too. And it seems that the vertical axis has problems too. (after testing big values, it doesn't seem to reset to smaller scale)
On my display (SGS, 4", 480x800) the graph screen isn't displayed entirely, so it is scrollable. This way it's a little hard to pinch&zoom the graph.
Maybe moment of calculation should be movable by scrolling the graph horizontally.
The interface is nice, but could you make a dark version too? (for AMOLED screens you know)
Thanks for your replies.
I will add "fraction support" in the next version. I wanted to prevent the user from inserting higher numbers than 99 and thus limited the field to a maximum length of 2 digits - but now I also think that this is kinda unnecesarry and being able to insert fractions seems to be more important to me now as well. I can also make use of a InputFilter, though I think that this is not that relevant.
The graph yet is only vertically auto-sized (y-axis). I think of adding such a "auto-sizing"-function to the x-axis as well. However, the graph's main task is to give a rough overview of the "time management" in AlcDroid - to inform the user where the day "starts" and "ends" and to visualize where one can add drinks.
When adding big values the y-scale actually should go up to a maximum of 6‰. On my device this seems to work flawlessly. Can you make a screenshot of the bug on your device?
And are you serious? You are able to scroll through and zoom into the graph? Actually I thought that I disabled those features... well, I'll have a look on it again.
Adding a dark interface shouldn't be such a big problem as well, I will think of adding this sooner or later.
Thanks again for the feedback and the suggestions!
Actually I was considering the max 6‰ of the Y axis an error. I entered a vast amount of alcohol for testing. The calculated value went up to 32.72‰, but the maximum of the curve was still at 6. As it does on your screenshot as well. But I guess that's not a real use case Considering that according to the description, even 4 can cause death.
And yepp, although it's extra hard because the scrolling of the whole layout, I can zoom vertically and horizontally too. Scrolling was only a suggestion.
I finally could motivate myself to continue working on AlcDroid again. You can now enter float values into the percent fields. And I added a dark design, though this was maybe the most unnecessary feature to add. Maybe TotalD3str4ct can check out out himself if he even reads this. I also fixed a few small bugs and added a new button.
I think I am now going to continue working on this app more frequently again. There are still quite a few things to do.
I made a huuuuuge update today. Check it out. I hope, there are not many bugs left. If so, please help me find them.
Push. Some feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Dark theme is a necessity to me. I try not to touch apps that don't have one. Plus in the club, the dimmer the screen, the better.
I made a mini update yesterday. Fixed a small bug, improved a few things and finally made a paid ad-free pro version for AlcDroid.

We're constantly working on adding new features and fixing those annoying bugs/
Hey all,
We've just updated Dietista to version 1.0.2!
The version includes major bug fixes and UI improvements.
We've also attached the APK to main thread.
Have fun!
I downloaded the app from the app store and cannot get past setup. I entered my info then selected my body type. Then entered some exercises. Next it asks me if I want to go on a diet, maintain my weight or gain muscle. I can't select any of them successfully. I chose diet and it won't let me change my goal weight. I chose maintain and it tells me that I should add some exercises, the same with gaining muscle.
Sent from my SGH-M919 using Tapatalk 2
Only bug I've found so far is that it won't let me put the same exercise in on different days with different lengths of time. I go hiking at least a few times a week for about an hour each, but with one of them well over that. Can be anywhere from 3 hours to 5 hours depending on if I'm by myself or not.
So my breakdown would look something like this...
Day 1 - Hiking, 1 hour
Day 2 - Hiking, 1 hour
Day 3 - Hiking, 3 hours
Also, I'm curious what diet you have it programmed for. Low/Slow Carb? Paleo? There's tons of different diets out there and more opinions on them than one can imagine. I'm just curious which one this app follows.
Hi. I like your pp. However it's more like for my wife use not really for me. What I need from your app is to be able to adjust my macros ie. 50%protein 30carbs%and 20%in fats. Or maybe that's aviable in paid version?
Anyway it looks solid

Cool looking App.
Nice work.
I'm also curious about setting Macros. I am doing BeachBody Body Beast and I need to focus on macros. Looking for an easier way to do this with meal plans. So when I set my macros I can then get reasonable/realistic meals suggested to me.
I think this app is amazing so far, and can get so much better too. I think the biggest thing to add would be like others have mentioned the ability to add macro's. Some diet's, like keto, look to cut carbs and increase protein and fats. The other advantage to this is for people who are diabetic and need to limit certain parts of their diet. Doing so, I think, will open you up to a much wider audience.
How about some specific sport options. I play Soccer twice a week besides gym 2-3 times a week depending on schedule. I think it is pretty good app though. Try and make it available in IOS as well, I have a couple of "evil" friends that would be interested lol.
excellent app!
Hi all,
Thanks so much for all your feedback. I'll answer all the questions -

Hi keekah,
Dietista did not forbid you of choosing to maintain a healthy lifestyle, but simply promoted your with a suggestion to add exercises. You can ignore the warning and proceed with your desired goal.
Please let us know how that worked our for you, and for any other questions we're available through this thread and through mail([email protected]).

Hi ridethisbike,
Currently there is no option of choosing different lengths for the same exercise. We'll definitely add support for that in one of the upcoming updates.
Regarding the diet plan, Dietista's diet consists of a healthy balance between carbs, protein and fat. We do know there are many diet options out there, but for the time being we feel Dietista's diet should do the trick.

Hi magik300, b4u2 & molesaied88,
We're glad you're enjoying Dietista.
Regarding your question, we do want to add support to adjsut your macros, but our main fear is that some of our users will adjust it in a manner that could end up hurting themselves. But don't worry, we're working our way around it

We're not sure we completely understand your suggestion,Celeox. Dietista do offer the option to add multiple specific exercises(such as Soccer and Gym).
Thanks again for all your comments, we promise to consider all of them.

Hi there,
I've just had a overview of the app and must say I like it from the point of view of a developer. Good design, nice UX... Nothing to say about tech works, five stars for it.
Menu suggestions don't look so good, though. For the data I provided (no activity at all) the menu has way too many carbs (pasta, rice, potatoes cereals...) has sausages aplenty, fatty cheese ... I would suggest anyone looking for a good, safe and healthy diet to visit a dietician and/or endocrinologist. Specially one that's familiar with European / Mediterranean diet.
My 2 cents.
No spanish?
The app looks great! Both my wife and I have installed.
The only thing I've noticed so far is I change it to metric but it still shows energy in "Calories" instead of "Joules"

No problem, send any feature requests and it will probably be implemented in coming updates. Goal for this app is a young student help and learning tool, I would have loved something like this in elementary or high school.
When it comes to accuracy, closer is better. The app isn't very accurate if you take the picture from a distance, if you move the phone very close to the question it should be really good accuracy though.

What type of word problems are you looking to have solved (Example of possible)? I have something in the works on this, but it is very early.
Problems like "What is one plus one times eight" is very easy but rarely ever used. Problems with lots of context are a lot harder. For example, "Ben initially has with 1 apple. Kelly gives him another one. Ben now wants to sell this at his store, Healthy Fruits, for $2.00 each. How much does he make if he sells all his apples?"

Thanks for the photo. We probably won't be able to solve word questions that also have charts or tables anytime soon. In the near future we will support linear equations and more with a table of values and a graph (automathapp.com/examples/table-of-values, automathapp.com/examples/graphing [The screenshots are actually from what I have developed so far]). So you can just take a picture of "p=5b-15" in our app and get a table of values and graph from it. This will allow you to get rate of change and x and y intercepts in seconds.
*Edit Linear equations, graphing, and table of values now supported.
Video Proof
For people having problems, here is a video of the app solving every question on our website and some weird ones below as an extra (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QYladg1nCYM). If you are still having problems with accuracy try going closer to the question or changing focus modes. If the camera isn't working or nothing is recognizing at all then please contact us at [email protected], this is a device incompatibility and we will need more information in order to fix it. We test on as much devices as we can get our hands on but that is not even a fraction of the 7000+ android devices on android 2.3+
Graphing and Tables now Supported
Our new update now supports graphing and table of values as well as a ton of new features and improvements. Here is a demo of the graphing (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EpIA7JhDZ_Q)

Thanks for the feedback. We are coming out with a huge accuracy update in the near future. For now the app is still brand new and requires a few instructions for recognition to work best:
- Image should be sharp, blurry images will not work
- There should be nothing else but the question in the picture so crop as close to question as possible
- Text must be straight
- Handwritten questions are not yet supported, you can try elementary mode for better accuracy, but it is still not yet ready
We know recognition is still far from perfect and are working to improve it constantly. We released it early so people can have something decent to use rather then nothing while iOS and even Windows users already have a decent app like this.
Congrats for the app, I liked the idea, it's very promising but try to improve the UI, it's kinda ugly

AutoMath 2.0
New BIG update AutoMath 2.0 improves accuracy and performance by TONS. It adds super quick mode with *experimental* multiple question support. Check the video if you wanna see it in ACTION. Lucky Nexus 5, Nexus 6, Nexus 9 users get to use the faster Camera 2 API with real MANUAL FOCUS. Nexus 4 and Nexus 7 users can see this thread on why they don't get manual focus (https://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=82219). The video below also shows manual focus in action.

If you find this app useful please donate or rate 5 stars so I can keep on developing this baby. I won't add any ads as it's distracting while studying.

Contact Diary is a simple, open source app that allows you to keep a record of the people you have met and the events you have attended to recently. In the undesired event that you test positive for COVID-19, Contact Diary is a place where to quickly find who you must warn about that situation.
How it works
Every day Contact Diary will prompt you to insert the events you have attended and the people you have been with during the day. Through some simple forms you will be able to store the essential information about your contacts, in case you need to retrieve it. Just that. Simple, right?
Features
Configurable notification time, so the prompt does not interfere with your daily workflow.
Show only potentially risky contacts.
Automatic removal of entries older than 15 days.
JUST ONE PERMISSION, that needed for the app being able to notify you after device restarts. Nothing else.
In particular, NO INTERNET permission. The information you enter is yours, and it never leaves your device.

Questions & Issues
- Wait, isn't this what Governments' contact tracing apps are doing?
No. The goals of Governments' contact tracing apps and of Contact Diary are inherently different. Governments' contact tracing apps notify you when you have been at risk, and Contact Diary serves to remember who you must notify if you test positive.
- Is this app BETTER than Governments' contact tracing apps?
No. Governments' contact tracing apps may account for contacts that you may not be aware of, like the person sitting in a neighboring table at a restaurant, or that other person using the same bus to go to work. Contact Diary IS NOT A REPLACEMENT TO GOVERNMENTS' CONTACT TRACING APPS.
- Is this app WORSE than Governments' contact tracing apps?
No. Government's contact tracing apps crucially rely on all persons interacting to have the app in order to do proper notifications. With Contact Diary, you just need yourself to keep track, and you can easily notify people (or places) that do not use conventional contact tracing apps.
- Will this app share the information I input?
NO. The app has no permissions other than that necessary for the notification system. In particular, there is no way that it can connect to the internet. The information you insert will never leave your device. Even more, entries in the diary are automatically eliminated when they become older than 15 days.
If you still haven't found an answer, please create a new issue on GitHub.

I have just released version 1.0.4
Changelog/download:
https://github.com/apozas/contactdiary/releases
This version adds two new features. The forms now contain a "Notes" field where one can insert additional information that one may think is relevant. Also, there is a new operation on the entries, "Make a Copy Today", which allows you to make a copy of an older entry in the current day's list. This is useful when you routinely see the same people in the same conditions (like co-workers, for example).
Please report any issue you discover, so I can fix it.
Localization files are now available on Crowdin. Translations are very much appreciated. If your language is not available, let me know and I will add it

Thank you. In many countries there are apps based on Exposure Notifications, but as long as a lot of people use it it's not that clear whether it will have an impact. While this app is not intended to substitute Exposure Notification apps, it is my hope that it will be useful in some cases. Feel free to tell me if you find any problems or you think some things could be done better.

Well, that is quite far-off the scope of the app, I'm afraid. For once, it is irrelevant to know if you are with infected people in a same space because those infected people either don't know they are, and thus there's no way of any digital system to recognize them, or they known they are, and should be quarantining. Second, what you describe is closer to what Exposure Notifications apps do. However, given that this is very sensitive content, currently only Governments can develop apps of this kind, and Google is very strict with any apps that try to mimic that behavior. So I'm afraid that the closest to your interest is any of the multiple Exposure Notifications apps (by the time your Government must have developed one, most likely), it is not possible to obtain something closer, and in any case it will not be the goal of Contact Diary.
I have just released version 1.3.2

Changelog/download:

This version adds granular description of mitigation measures, so you can specify whether distance was kept, masks were used, or the environment was ventilated.
Translations in any language (currently on the Crowdin site or not) are very much appreciated.

Today Contact Diary got its first 1-star rating . I guess it had to happen. There was no accompanying review, so I don't know what could be done to change it. Play Store ratings and reviews are very much appreciated now, in order to overcome that one star.
