We're constantly working on adding new features and fixing those annoying bugs/
Hey all,
We've just updated Dietista to version 1.0.2!
The version includes major bug fixes and UI improvements.
We've also attached the APK to main thread.
Have fun!
I downloaded the app from the app store and cannot get past setup. I entered my info then selected my body type. Then entered some exercises. Next it asks me if I want to go on a diet, maintain my weight or gain muscle. I can't select any of them successfully. I chose diet and it won't let me change my goal weight. I chose maintain and it tells me that I should add some exercises, the same with gaining muscle.
Sent from my SGH-M919 using Tapatalk 2
Only bug I've found so far is that it won't let me put the same exercise in on different days with different lengths of time. I go hiking at least a few times a week for about an hour each, but with one of them well over that. Can be anywhere from 3 hours to 5 hours depending on if I'm by myself or not.
So my breakdown would look something like this...
Day 1 - Hiking, 1 hour
Day 2 - Hiking, 1 hour
Day 3 - Hiking, 3 hours
Also, I'm curious what diet you have it programmed for. Low/Slow Carb? Paleo? There's tons of different diets out there and more opinions on them than one can imagine. I'm just curious which one this app follows.
Hi. I like your pp. However it's more like for my wife use not really for me. What I need from your app is to be able to adjust my macros ie. 50%protein 30carbs%and 20%in fats. Or maybe that's aviable in paid version?
Anyway it looks solid

Cool looking App.
Nice work.
I'm also curious about setting Macros. I am doing BeachBody Body Beast and I need to focus on macros. Looking for an easier way to do this with meal plans. So when I set my macros I can then get reasonable/realistic meals suggested to me.
I think this app is amazing so far, and can get so much better too. I think the biggest thing to add would be like others have mentioned the ability to add macro's. Some diet's, like keto, look to cut carbs and increase protein and fats. The other advantage to this is for people who are diabetic and need to limit certain parts of their diet. Doing so, I think, will open you up to a much wider audience.
How about some specific sport options. I play Soccer twice a week besides gym 2-3 times a week depending on schedule. I think it is pretty good app though. Try and make it available in IOS as well, I have a couple of "evil" friends that would be interested lol.
excellent app!
Hi all,
Thanks so much for all your feedback. I'll answer all the questions -

Hi keekah,
Dietista did not forbid you of choosing to maintain a healthy lifestyle, but simply promoted your with a suggestion to add exercises. You can ignore the warning and proceed with your desired goal.
Please let us know how that worked our for you, and for any other questions we're available through this thread and through mail([email protected]).

Hi ridethisbike,
Currently there is no option of choosing different lengths for the same exercise. We'll definitely add support for that in one of the upcoming updates.
Regarding the diet plan, Dietista's diet consists of a healthy balance between carbs, protein and fat. We do know there are many diet options out there, but for the time being we feel Dietista's diet should do the trick.

Hi magik300, b4u2 & molesaied88,
We're glad you're enjoying Dietista.
Regarding your question, we do want to add support to adjsut your macros, but our main fear is that some of our users will adjust it in a manner that could end up hurting themselves. But don't worry, we're working our way around it

We're not sure we completely understand your suggestion,Celeox. Dietista do offer the option to add multiple specific exercises(such as Soccer and Gym).
Thanks again for all your comments, we promise to consider all of them.

Hi there,
I've just had a overview of the app and must say I like it from the point of view of a developer. Good design, nice UX... Nothing to say about tech works, five stars for it.
Menu suggestions don't look so good, though. For the data I provided (no activity at all) the menu has way too many carbs (pasta, rice, potatoes cereals...) has sausages aplenty, fatty cheese ... I would suggest anyone looking for a good, safe and healthy diet to visit a dietician and/or endocrinologist. Specially one that's familiar with European / Mediterranean diet.
My 2 cents.
No spanish?
The app looks great! Both my wife and I have installed.
The only thing I've noticed so far is I change it to metric but it still shows energy in "Calories" instead of "Joules"

I'm developing a calendar app to replace the stock app for Google Calendar.
Link to app: https://market.android.com/details?id=dk.alxb.calendardroid
The app is in BETA stage and I would love to get some feedback from you guys. You can write here, or you can email CalendarDroid [AT] gmail com and I will respond quickly.
I would love to weed out the Google Calendar related bugs on the BETA and focus on adding new great features.
The philosophy behind the app is a calendar that is easy to use, clean, intuitive, and highly customizable.
What is currently implemented:
Month View / Week View / Day View / Agenda View
A few settings to customize
What needs done before release:
Removal of all bugs
Search
Custom "add/edit event" windows
More views (14 day?)
Selection of shown calendars
More intuitive navigation
National holidays
WIDGETS! Lots of them. (Might be Paid version only)
Your suggestions!
Hi there,
Very nice app,better than stock
I would like to give you some suggestions. If I were you I would do these.
If you compare your app with others, they are similar in view aspect. Since screen is not that large for everyone, the word "presentation" for ex. wouldn't fit the box and square boxes appear nice too instead of rectangle. Something like iphone calendar ( I appreciate what is good in ios or android)
To solve the space issue, you could put color codes or words and make them customized.
PPl can assign red to school, brown to office....
When you click them, a window pops up and shows the complete schedule
Note I have exaggerated things on images, not all boxes should have too many colors, by using square you can use the extra space down there for quick note or whatever you like. Didnt have time to make eeach box different
Again Im sure you can find better ideas, You can sell more if show something extra

Wow thanks for your suggestions. The color coding for the events you mention are just different calendars right? I for example have a Google Calendar for school, one for work, one private and so one. Each with a different color. Color coding of individual events would take some time to do manually.
You mention a window popping up when you click on one of the square day fields. What about making the lower part of the screen a scroll view with events of the day you have pressed? Then if you press on the square again you go to day view, but this way you can more quickly see the events for the day without loading a new view.

No problem at all.
You can for ex say you just wanna see work schedule, so instead of general window, u see a new one with let say brown color and only work related. new window for school and so on.
If you wanna see everything then you can have a general window that shows everything together.
Cuz it's hard to fit all the words inside the box (like in my first image) you can use colors or words or any other shapes you prefer.
Yes that's better idea use the extra space for scroll i like that may be more buttons, shortcuts, it has so many potentials. This way you keep it really clean, easy to access and havent seen anyone doing it
Make copy and paste of events possible and easily done from one date to another. Please see http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=2618 for a list of people who are angry this isn't already implemented. This is a pain if the event does not regularly reoccur thus has to be entered over and over by the user or the user has to go to a desktop or notebook to fix it from the web client. My Razor did this so it is just weird it can't be done on stock Android.

Thanks. That is a great idea. I think my next larger feature is custom add/edit event windows. Right now I use the ones from your default calendar.
With my own customer views for adding and editing events the possibilities are endless. Of course copy and paste will be a simple thing to implement. Then there are the ability to make more advanced recurrence rules, easier selection of dates (on a month like view), and much more.
Yeah! A useful month view!!!!
IMO, the month view is the winning feature. I can actually see is going on! What this isn't stock if beyond me. Thank you for, well, using your brain.

I wouldn't waste time implementing this in the app. I don't know about other countries, but there is a Google calendar for the US. I just subscribe to it.

I am curious to see what you have in mind, but, IMO, these could wait. I currently use Android Agenda Widget, because it integrates with Astrid.
Anyways, I think you are off to a great start. I look forward to see what you cook up.

I most definitely agree with @weareallkosh that national holidays are not worth investing your time (at least not at this point, there are many higher-priority issues to deal with in the stock calendar app).
Since even Google couldn't implement holidays right in their calendars you can subscribe to (and they declined to answer why), I think your time is best spent elsewhere. So many people were complaining about the defects in Google's "US Holidays" calendar, most particularly that it does not extend far enough into the future that I created one from scratch that incorporated "recurring formulas" for all future dates, and I generated and merged in all "irregularly repeating" holidays, such as Easter, and "nudging" dates such as "Tax Returns Due" to the following Monday when April 15 falls on a weekend day, etc.
Since anyone can subscribe to this (or any other nationality/ethnicity/belief-based) calendar, there's little incentive for you to duplicate the effort. Also, particularly if you wish to support multiple nationalities, cultures, contemporary versus traditional versus orthodox religion variants, and so on, you can quickly get bogged down in endless debates over which dates ought to be included in which calendars, as well as having to investigate frequent reports of "your calendar shows X falling on Y date, but that's wrong", many of which are inaccurate. Just sucks your time away from more urgent issues.
Cant wait to test this app. Will the calendar have a bi-weekly event capability?
@weareallkosh, @tgi007
Thanks guys. I will put national holidays way in the back. Your solution is much better tgi007, and hopefully someone will make something like it for other languages and traditions.
From the input I have received I have decided that the next feature is custom add/edit event views. This will make copy/paste of events, advanced recurrence rules, and intuitive date selection possible.
@Rico ANDROID
With the next feature implemented I will look into the best way to specify advanced recurrence rules. I have read the specification for the recurrence rules and biweekly is possible in the standard together with many more features.
The hard part will be how to specify these rules because the standard is really flexible. But I think some templates to select from is the way to go. Like the stock calendar, just with more options of course. AND the possibility to specify an end date to the recurrence or the number of recurrences.
But maybe I find a great way to specify it without making it too hard to understand.
Thanks all. More feedback is welcome. This is great!
ATTENTION: Due to the overwhelming interest in joining the first and second BETA round, im slowing down the Third Round invites. Currently I am only taking a few more.
Hello, I am making a game, called ScanDroid Kingdom. Its in VERY EARLY stages, but quite a bit of functionality is present.
I don't want to post the game here, as i don't want a lot of testers, but if you want to reply here and I'll get you in.
Anyone who tests can be a part of what this game turns into. Just give me your ideas for it, and ill add them accordingly, given that they make sense.
Currently, you can do:
Scan barcode to create your creature, barcodes are used to determine starting attributes.
Do Daily scans to get more items and EXP(currently set to unlimited in the test phase)
EXP is gained and you can level up attributes
Single player Battle. (you scan a barcode to generate an enemy, and battle it)
ONLINE Battle(you select someone elses online creature and battle it, can gain exp and such)
Auto update from within app as well
It is not a graphical game really, as I am not good with that. Very menu based, but still fun, even without a lot of content added quite yet!
Soon to be adding quests, lots more items, more online functionality, and anything else others reccomend!
Email me and I will send you an apk and a Google+ Invite If you are already not on, then please join the huddle to help us with the game!
Also, keep in mind it is still buggy here and there, but i update regularly, and its fairly stable at the moment. I am not looking to throw this on the market and make money from it(at least not any time soon), its really just for my friends and i to play around, although i would love some feedback from xda, and who knows, maybe ill put it on the market one day when its really good.
I will always continue to improve it wherever neccessary, given others have ideas for me.
If you have fun with the game, and want to keep the game free, fun, and me in a developin' mood for years to come, consider donating to the cause, donate buttons next to my name on left.
UPDATE:
I notice there are quite a few ppl playing it now. Keep in mind, for the moment you HAVE TO scan fully numerical UPCs. QR codes and really short barcodes do not work as of yet.
UPDATE 2: Also, If you want to start over on a creature, and wipe all your scans with it, just wipe the apps data, or uninstall/reinstall. Im working on some tweaks so ppl dont run out of upcs to scan so fast. If anyone has any suggestions on this, i'd love to discuss it further with you!
Thanks to the current testers: (As I get everyones name on XDA I'll add you to this)

Just installed and gave it a quick go, managed to crash it by scanning a 35mm film roll because it wasn't a standard barcode length, but other than that seems excellent, I can finally live out my 90's schoolboy dream of finding the ultimate barcode lol
This really sounds awesome! I can't wait!

Thanks!
And yes, must be fully numerical upc codes, for now. Qr codes or short barcodes wont work yet. I need to add that to the intro screen. Ill post here in the next day or so when the update is ready, adding a lot of stuff in next 24 hours.
Managed to crash it with a bottle of Fanta on my workmates desk that was a standard UPC barcode. Been scanning everything in sight, quick question though, if you try scanning something twice it says you have already used that barcode, but is this a hard limit and you can never use that one again, or does it unlock the next day? If the former I can see my weekly trip to the supermarket taking 5x longer as I methodically scan every item on the shelves.
Had a go at the online battles, worked fine.

Next time it crahses, send me the pop up error readout, ill do what i can.
For now, it is a hard limit. The reasoning behind it is pretty confusing really.
If I unlock it the next day or something, ppl can memorize what barcodes generate what creatures or daily scan items. Then, they can exploit that to their advantage.
If, say, a gatorade bottle gives you an attack bonus on the daily scans page, you could scan it every day to get an additional attack.
The way the barcodes work, they are unique to the code. It will generate the same enemy/ item every time, with everyone who scans that particular code. The enemy generations and items are not random, as it uses the upcs literrally to determine what comes next.
But, if you have an idea for an alternative solution, please let me know! Also, what are your online creature names? Mines Bhutto!

That's fine mate, I assumed as much!
My creature is called Aotona, I saved it online but it didn't give any feedback to say if it saved or not, so not sure if it's there for others to battle against. Would be cool to see how many fights a creature has won/lost when choosing an online opponent if that's possible, will help fuel competition.

Yeah, easy way to check is look at the list of creatures to battle, yours should show up there.
A feature Im looking to add by tomorrow evening is just that, a little bit of a leaderboard type of thing. Should make it a little more competitive.
Thanks for the input, let me know if anything else comes to mind!
BTW, your creature is pretty strong, don't know what level you are, but u just took down my level 6.

You scan barcodes to create your creatures. You currently can have as many as you like.
You can then battle your creatures against "Barcode NPCs", or battle online against other people on the ScanDroid Network.
You can take advantage of your "Daily Scans" to gain items, exp, or currency.
You can also share your creature via QR code for others to scan and battle, instead of using the online listings.
There is an Item shop, where you can buy things with currency.
Currency(ScanCreds) are gained when you scan for anything in the game.
Soon to be added:
Quests
Leaderboards
Equipment
Crafting
Online Trade House/Auction House
Skills for both Players and Creatures
Friends List
Messaging
I also have a donate version on the market, if anyone finds this game fun and wants to help keep it going at a fast pace, I'd appreciate it.
Currently there is NO difference between the free and donate versions.
Once the game is out of BETA, there will be differences.
Free version will not have multiple creature management, and will have a level cap(will be a higher one, like 40 or so). It will not get all the quests the Donate version will get either. But that is down the road.
I hope you like it and please respond if you have tried it, let me know what you think, and I'll try to do what I can to make the game more to your liking! I am trying to make this game as much a community project as I can, as I find that others seem to have great ideas I would have never thought of.

Been playing this for a while and so far I'm liking it. I'm also on the beta team for Barcode Beasties.
There's a few things not quite right and/or lacking in your game. I don't seem to get "daily scans" only scan accumulated through online battles. Sorry if I'm misunderstanding this but to me "daily scans" would indicate we get an amount of scans allocated to us every day. In the online battling feature it would be handy if we could see the other creatures level as well as their name in the listing of potential opponents, it would save us loading an opponent up, seeing they're too far above us in level terms then having to go back in and load another.
I also have a question. are we allowed to re-scan codes ever ie. is it a once per day scan limit or is it a persistent limit that never allows us to scan the same code twice??
Anyways, loving the game and hope it does well, would love to see your game and Barcode Beasties combined but I suppose you both being in competition so to speak will cause both games to have to strive for excellence.

Hey, thanks for the reply!
OK, so first:
You get 20 scans per day, refreshed at the start of each day.
Also, due to a very recent update, you can have a chance to gain an extra scan upon winning a match. Before, you would win a scan after EVERY win of match, which gave too many scans to them.
Having the level of each creature next to the name is a feature I have heard about quite a bit lately, and I am truly looking for a solution to have implemented in the next few days.
Also, it saves all UPCs in a db, and does not allow you to scan the same one twice, to keep ppl from figuring out what codes give what and keep ppl scanning in different places and situations.
Also, I saw Barcode Beasties hasn't been updated in a long while(market shows nov 10, 2010.) Is it still be worked on I take it? Also, I consider Barcode Beasties to be a different game for the most part, and the direction our team has planned for this game will take it so far off course from Barcode Beasties that they won't even be able to be compared after a while.
Thanks for the input, hope to hear from you again.
If you are interested in joining up with us on beta development, let me know, I would be glad to have you on board. Email me at [email protected] If you are interested.
Installed the game and gave it a try, so far everything seems great.
A little more flashiness to the UI might be in order, by no means does it look bad. A WP7 style setup for the buttons would fill in the blank space left by the smaller buttons currently, give the entire application more flow. (Mainly referring to the buttons in Barracks/Battle etc... change from small grey boxes to WP7 style buttons with large graphics)
The barcode scan portion works great, had no problems there.
Battle wise everything was fine, however the battle text was a little slow. Perhaps having an option to speed up the battle text, or make it go to the next round via tap interaction?
Definite thumbs up for this app. Plays well, no errors encountered as of yet, and I really enjoy the concept. Cant wait to see how it grows.

Thanks for trying it. The UI is fairly new right now, but we are trying to find ways to make it easier and more appealing. I will take the idea you had and see if it can help us at all.
Good idea for the battle text, ill add it to our bugs/feature tracker.
New Update has been posted!
Changes Include:
Bug Fixes(Of Course)
Online Creature List now shows levels under names
NEW Inventory System to test out!
Also, as with any update during the BETA, please contact me([email protected]) if anything is not working properly, and Ill do what i can to fix it ASAP!
Also, still looking for a couple more people who want to join the teams beta testing division, so we can get the updates tested a little faster so I can send them to the market quicker!
A lot of people would have heard about automation apps. Apps which help to, in their crudest sense, simplify various functions of your phone and many would believe, over-simplify your life. Apps like Tasker and Llama have made a great deal of progress since they were initially launched. Both of these apps were able to exploit the hidden strengths of android to a great extent. Being open source, the Android OS enables users the freedom to tweak it and customize it in any way they want, way more than any other mobile OS out there. By combining an insane number of triggers, actions and related parameters, Tasker, and to an extent Llama, have for years now let us Android geeks make our phones our own, in every sense of the word.
Let’s face it though: as powerful as Tasker may be, it is quite the devil when it comes to usability. I didn’t say Android “geeks” above in any lesser way; the learning curve with Tasker is known to be pretty high. Scores of users have picked it up like children pick candy in a candy store, and then let go of it because they found it too bitter for their taste. Over time apps like Llama have taken care of those users- simplifying some things while removing the tougher bits. Along with these two apps, the play store is rife with many others, each trying to offer the user some sort of advancement over the other. Apps like Actions Pro, Chronos ad Locale being a few of them.
So the question is, amongst all this glut, is there really a need for another automation app? Well, Weebo would beg to differ. Sure, having too many choices is never a really bad thing, but also, what does it offer over the others which should make you, the user, take up this app over all the others? In this series of posts, this being the first one, I would take our readers through some of the capabilities of this particular app, developed in-house. In future posts, I will elaborate more on particular functions and what we can expect in the future.
THE HOME SCREEN

}
The Home screen, as you can see in the above screenshots, is essentially a list of all the rules available in your app. It includes all the rules created by you, as well as (if any) pre-made ones. Toggling the context key will bring up the sub menu, which gives you two options – “Add location” and “Weebo App settings”. Also, an automation app is nothing without the rules one creates, and as time goes and you become more comfortable with the said app, the number of rules also tend to increase. Therefore, we decided to add a an advanced selection of any rules that might be stored on your phone by their general category. By easily clicking on the (by default) “All”, you can therefore find out rules based on location, battery, utilities etc simply by changing the category. Simple and easy!
Also, to select a particular rule to activate it, all you need to do is click on it. The default colour changes to dark yellow for that particular rule, providing a visual indicator. Also, if you look closely at the screenshot below, you will see a tiny edit button alongside the selected rule. Clicking that button will enable you to directly make changes to the rule, in XML format, but more about that later.
ADD RULES
On swiping towards your left, you are greeted by the Add Rules page. Designed for most power users, it enables you to add your own rules, letting your creativity a free reign. Of course, a downside to it would be that most people don’t know XML coding or are not very savvy with it. Unfortunately, as of now, we don’t really have any workarounds, but yes, its being looked into.
Now a little about the XML page by itself. As I said earlier, in the screenshots here you can see how easy it is to add your rules. At the bottom, you get four options, update, cancel, create new and delete. I presume most of these actions are self explanatory. All in all, this is a very simple, but incredibly powerful tool. In time, we are looking to streamline this functionality in order to encourage a more expressive utilization of these rules.
LOCATIONS
The core of weebos functionality comes from the inherent use of location tracking, utilizing cellular towers around you to triangulate your location with better accuracy. To that extent, we have enabled the user with adding as many locations that he would want.
From the screenshots above, you can see that two locations are already present, Home and Work. by clicking on “start tracking” when you are at home or at work, you get the option of choosing the amount of time you would want to be tracked, which stretches from 5 minutes to 8 hours. When tracking for the stipulated time, the app is able to triangulate your position to an accurate degree, and save it for its own future reference. Once added, this can easily be used to set up rules such as ” switch on Wi-Fi when I get to Office” or ” Switch on Ringer when I get to home”. This is just a small example of how useful this location tracking feature could be, once properly used. You can also, at anytime you want, edit, delete or reset a particular locations cell ID’s if you think it needs better accuracy.
RECENT EVENTS
The final tab you can access by scrolling to your left is the “Recent Tab”. It shows all the functions and rules that you might have used recently, and allows you to search through your most used rules easily.

New tasker, amazing, and it is so easy to access and make a custom command with full guide on Your website!
Thanks in advance for Your hard work and thanks for this app, I like it!
This is nice... I also like the widget which I can place on my home-screen. Good work!!
Just one question though, how long should I track a location? Will 15 mins be enough?

15 minutes will not be enough to track all cell ids. It is recommended to track for around 4 hrs. The longer you track is better.
And don't forget to stop tracking when you go out of your house or work if you have started it

Can anyone make this flashable for those of us (me...lol) that don't have computers to do adb push? I'd really appreciate it. If not it's cool. Seems like an awesome app.

Amazing App BTW, Love it.
Weebo release - 26/06/2013
WEEBO
What is it?
Weebo is your very own googly eyed personal assistant, but with a twist. He does more than just take care of your reminders, he is able to automate your phone to a whole new level. He remembers your location, be it work or home, and is able to perform various tasks assigned to it without you having to do a single thing.
Weebo lets you go about your life and focus on the more important things while silently and efficiently taking care of the tedious ones.
What is new?
Although Weebo does sport a brand new look, the changes do not remain skin deep. Weebo features many in depth changes so as to facilitate daily user interactions. After collating data and feedback from numerous users, we have finally been able to put forward a compelling and easy to user automation app for your android phones.
Some of the essentials –
Rule Editing
Now simpler and more nuanced, the rule editor screen is a joy to use, both for old users as well as new. Focusing on simplicity and ease of use, the new Rule editor allows you to do the following easily and without any hassle-
Edit the type of rule, and set a name for it
Icons for both adding conditions as well as actions, thus giving you easy visual cues while setting up a rule
Easier to make creative rules by mixing and matching different icons, and come up with new combinations
Broken Rule Indicators
As simple but useful feature, which as the name suggests, allows you to understand much more easily as to which rules are not functioning properly. In the screenshot, you will see this visual cue depicted as a broken arrow, thus letting you know that something might be wrong with that particular rule.
UI changes to Locations and Rules list screens
The locations screen now features an option to selectively see what rules are available for you to use. You can choose to see rules based on their particular conditions/usage functions. Initially we have provided the following – Al/Enabled/Disabled/Battery/Location/Sensor/Utility. Also featuring minor improvements is the Locations page, where you can track various different locations depending on your choice.
Features Coming Soon-
A move towards even more simplicity and ease of use by providing several UI/UX changes.
A brand new update to the location tracker using Google fused location provider.
Many more interesting features in the pipeline.
Please take latest Weebo
Simply great! keep up the good work! If you need testing (alpha, beta, etc.) or any help just let me know. I'm was a long time user of tasker (ditched it as it drained my battery), Lama and now locale (with a bunch of plugins). I have to say this app beats them all.
edit: "i'm missing the calendar busy event". would be great if something like "make the device silent if i'm busy in the XYZ calendar".

Hi there, my newest game, which I have just released, Quantum Bounce, is a combination of puzzle and arcade with an emphasis on aiming and timing.
Weekly Update 1: Added 10 new levels and fixed several bugs.As the title mentions, the game features NO ads and no IAPs and you can pay what you consider the game is worth or pay nothing at all. We all know how annoying and intrusive ads are and how so many new games push the "freemium" model. Instead of doing that, I wanted to try something new and release the game completely free with the possibility to donate whatever amount you think it's worth in order to support me in creating future games.
I have worked almost 2 months on developing the game to reach a polished state that you can see once you play it. From the beautiful music and sounds effects by Nigel Good to the simplistic and clean graphics, Quantum Bounce, creates an enjoyable experience for both casual gamers and the more seasoned ones.
I would love to hear your feedback on the following:
- How fun do you consider the game to be on a scale of 1 to 10.
- How is the performance? Does it run smooth on your device?
- What's your opinion on this "pay model".
- Any suggestions or critiques?
I will be watching this thread for the next 20 hours, so if you have any questions of any kind (development or anything else) please feel free to ask.
Thank you for trying it out and if you enjoyed it please rate it
Any feedback you guys have is highly appreciated

The only IAP is the one where you pay what you want for the game. So it's not really a traditional IAP, but a convenient way for people to donate if they wish.
Thanks for downloading the game, can't wait to hear your feedback

Saw that.
Very difficult but good game. It's a bit laggy on my Samsung galaxy y, but that's normal
Is it supposed to be like on the ss (the right side)?
A feature I thought about: on each level, there would be a star or coin. If you take the star/coin and complete the level you get it. Then you can buy stuff, like other ball colors, with your stars/coins.

What do you guys think of this payment model?
Quick first five minute review:
Performance was ok, at least on my old X10, other devices will for sure run it butter smooth.
Graphics and design great
You could add more customization for the user, like ball and map designs, etc.
Love the music!
Fair payment model, depending that you didn't made this game for money
Suggestion:
- Custom level designer?
Rate:
7/10
Fun: Entertaining game, could see myself killing time with this game.
Performance: Runs perfect on my phone(Quadcore, 1gb, Lolllipop)
Payment Model: While in theory it seems very fair to the dev and customer, in practice it doesnt work, there might as well not even be an option to pay/donate what you want because 99.99% of users will not pay anything for this type of game. Only time this payment model works is for games with a large fan base with constant updates, see a game like Pixel Dungeon, completely funded by donations because of large fan base and constant updates.
Suggestions: More customization options for ball/backgrounds, use a standard payment model, maybe f2p with non intrusive ads that are removable.

Hey, thanks a lot for the feedback.
- I intend to release more levels on a weekly basis.
- As for the payment model. I don't intend to make any money off it. Before developing the game I read some statistics and on Android less than 2% of people donate for a game the minimum ammount ($0.70). So, I knew from the start that I would not make any money off it but I was hoping that by offering the game for free and no ads I would get a userbase for my future games. So, if you like the game, share it which in turn will push me to create more games in the future

Thanks a lot for the feedback.
As for the payment model, as I've stated in my reply above, I knew from the beginning that the game won't generate any money. I did it mainly as an experiment and as a way to gather a userbase for my future games.
Again, thanks for playing and if you enjoyed it please rate it

Anyone else have more feedback?
Bump and more feedback welcome.
A new update will come on friday with 20 more levels .
Hi,
just tried this and it is really good. Not quite my kind of game, but very nicely done. Ran very smoothly on my Nexus 5.
Glitches:
- the "right border bug", that has been mentioned before.
- there was a level, where apparently the ball hit the goal and an obstacle at the same time, so I had both the "continue" and the "retry" controls visible on top of each other.
- I'm not exactly sure about this, but it doesn't seem to follow "angle of incidence = angle of reflection" perfectly. Don't really have a way to verify that, it just felt wrong at times.
Suggestions:
- I would get rid of the "retry" button. It's a little annoying to have to push it every time.
Overall, great effort. :good:

Since it's staring right at me in the picture, I have to ask... Why both identity (google) and phone identity? Never understood seeing this in apps. Also, any call information involved in the phone identity & call information header?
Google new grouping of permissions is a disservice to all, I have to say. [emoji53]

Hmmm this game looks similar to Okay?, but let's see how yours is going to look like, I'm interested.
