i own a lg optimus one. (not rooted)
suddenly since 3-4 days the screen light turns on and remain on for sometime and turns off .
Again this process is repeated 3-4 times. and then its normal..
all this happens automatically when the phone is not being used and even when
i am using it.
please help

My sensation xl had one major problem initially- aftr about 2 months of getting it the battery issue started where instead of a solid charging led, there began alternate flickering of green and orange led...in a few days it stopped charging when connected to the charger but the lights kept flickering and I had to switch off to charge. Then later led started flickering even when switched off. In between all of this I have sent my fone fr repai thrice and I don't know why they won't replace it! Since yesterday my fone hangs up and switches off then switches on itself by the screen freezes up. It is so frustrating!!
Has this happened to anyone else??
Oh and I did a factory reset twice last night and now the bottom of the screen heats up within 2minutes of normal use! (I don't play any games, since its after reset, there are no apps either)
does anyone have any idea what the problem might be??? its giving me a lot of anxiety and my service provider(3) is least bothered!
So.. My screen goes out of the rails. It stops, starts, locks, unlocks. I don't know what happened, but iniatilly this problem appeared only when I was connected to a Wi-Fi or to the data mobile. Now, it also appears when the battery is under 30 % and when it gets warm (like over 30 C).
Some months ago I had a problem with the phone, I have unbricked it and I have installed the official ics 4.0.4.
Can somebody help me?
GOOD NIGHT TO ALL, I HAVE A CORE PLUS A CUSTOMER, HE SAYS THAT THE CELL FELL IN WATER BUT HE WAITED FOR DRY AFTER ON, THE PROBLEM IS THAT AFTER HE TURNED THE PHONE The LIGHTFLASH STARTED BLINKING EVERY TIME PRESSING The POWER bUTTON. Hi.. first of all my English is not good..
I usually take good care of my phone.. it just fell down accidentally some days before from about 2 foot height.. I am running same setup before and after that fall.. even some days after the phone went down there was no problem.. but suddenly a wired issue poped up since 3 days.. I didn't notice the issue when the phone is in standby..
issue is
screen suddenly turning off itself.. but phone is working.. I hear lock sound, I get calls, SMS.. everything.. just screen won't light up..
but when I hold power button phone reboots and screen works..
if it's a hardware problem, how the power button reboot solves it ?
I tried stock and had same thing..

I just got the moto g
I had updated to marshmallow just after opening the box.
It's the second day of the device and the display just turned black all of a sudden. On screen buttons gone too.
I pressed the power button and the screen turned off. When i turned the screen on again after 5 secs the screen turned black again.
I turned the screen off and on again.
This time the screen kept blinking. It didn't turn off just the contents of the screen kept blinking.
After I rebooted the phone, the issue disappeared.
I'm not sure if it is a software bug that happened or early signs of some hardware issue. I still have the 30 days for replacement.
Rest of the device is working fine.
Has anyone found the same issue?
I am using stock software, no root.
Yes brand new stock moto g updated to m and had the exact same issue, it's happened once a day so far to me (I'm on day three of owning the phone) A reboot fixes it but it's annoy I don't want to have to reboot the device all the time. I can see it being annoying trying to get the device swapped because when I wipe the device to give it back to the shop it will be working fine :-\
It just seems to happen randomly, nothing to do with a certain app I don't think, I can't replicte it when I try to figure out the cause of it.
