So.. My screen goes out of the rails. It stops, starts, locks, unlocks. I don't know what happened, but iniatilly this problem appeared only when I was connected to a Wi-Fi or to the data mobile. Now, it also appears when the battery is under 30 % and when it gets warm (like over 30 C).
Some months ago I had a problem with the phone, I have unbricked it and I have installed the official ics 4.0.4.
Can somebody help me?

My HD7 has started randomly restarting not just once but over and over , it gets to the HTC splash screen and then reboots over and over.
I just pul out the battery leave it for a bit and then its ok until next it happens.
Also It will not update it gets to part 7 of 10 and that completes 14% then I get a connection error I have tried it many times.
Anybody got any ideas?

Sounds very similar to the problem I had with my Mozart. I ended up taking it back to the place I bought and they replaced the main board in it.
Mine is/was a standard ROM by the way.
Hi all, I've had my HTC chacha for a year and a half. Fot the first year it worked smoothly but last six months turned into a nightmare. It started with problems with charging which today also exist. The phone doesn't charge even if it has been charging in excess of 10-12 hours overnight. Instead the percentage is decreasing until it reaches 0% percent to turn off. I overcame this problem by taking out battery and placing it back. After turning on phone again, it signalized fully charged.
What makes phone unusable is that the it constantly automatically restart itself. Usually it restarts when using applications like WhatsApp, FB Messenger, Viber or when I'm viewing a website on Opera. At first I thought it has something to do with internet but now it also restarts typing regular text messages or using camera.Tthe screen suddenly switches off and it restarts. When the phone comes back on, the battery indicator is down to 0% but after a few minutes goes back to the normal level it was (i.e. 65%).
The most interesting thing is that, while plugged for charging, I can use all this apps without restarting.
As i know that there is no isolated problem for one costumer, i suppose there is someone else who faced this proble. Also, I hope there is someone who can help me with it, I'm really frustrated not being able to use the phone regularly.
The phone is on its regular OS, never rooted. Did 2 factory resetes, didnt help.

I have been using cataclysm rom, april's stable release on my nexus 5 for past 2 months and it was a perfect companion.
Since yesterday though it has started to reboot, and only the google logo comes up and it again reboot's.
When I unplug the charger though the phone stops rebooting and is as good as dead. When I plugin, the reboot loop continues.
Currently I am unable to use my phone, and any help would be great.
My doubt is if the battery has gone very weak, and is unable to support the boot process, but even though I keep it charged for a significant amount of time, the same isssue happens.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
It seems to be a power button issue. It being pressed permanently is causing the issue. Rammed the phone a lil softly on a surface on the side of power button and the phone was back to life. Need to get the issue fixed, need to see where and how.
If the phone is plugged in, it should be able to boot. Some time ago i had also a problem related to battery (so i thougth at the time). My phone was charging very slow and wasn't capable to boot if i had the phone turned on, so i had to turn off the phone and let it charge for about 30 minutes before it could boot. It turned out that was a problem with the USB connectors. So i cleaned the USB entry and everything was fine again.
Hi i have this phone sky vega that i just bought years ago. And recently i experienced this restarting issue of my phone .. I can only use it for a couple of minutes or sometime it last for an hour then it keeps on rebooting/restarting, the screen will fade to black then it will restart again ( i notice that my phone is so hot). Hi, i am using [ROM][N][NOTE 8 UX][BUILD 3.0][GENISYS XPERIENCE][J700F/H/M] build 3.0
today i woke up to see my phone freezing at the home screen, it restarted and when the home screen appeared i could do like 2 moves then it freezed and restarted, kept doing it alot, i could stop it by pulling the battery off. i tried to use the phone without a battery (charger only) and the same happened.
One time i could use the phone for like 2 minutes without restarting or freezing then it happened, thought it was battery problem cuz usually when the battery is 40% the phone restarts and the battery becomes empty in like 2 minutes (happened months ago, i flashed the rom since 7 months ago).
when i open twrp the phone works fine there so i thought it was software problem, i wiped everything then installed a clean version of the same rom and the problem disappeared, i also think the battery doesn't turn off at 40% now but it's like a new one, can anyone please tell me what the hell happened !? i want to know what was my enemy which wasted hours of my precious time!!! and i want to avoid that in the future, notic that if i restore backup i did before wiping everything, restoring the system alone works, if i restore the data the same problem happens so it's data problem.
