Hi!
Am in Goa at the moment and want to use the Weather part of HTC Home... yet I cannot find any of the major cities for the state of Goa listed in the HTC Home Weather settings.
There are many Indian cities shown (including Mumbai, where I was last week), yet I do not know which one to use for Goa; not even the capital of Goa is on the list!
Can any Indian users check the HTC Home Weather city list and tell me which city is closest to Calangute, or anywhere in Goa?
I promise that doing so will positively increase your karma

Turns out there is a standalone app that lets one add custom weather entries...

Unfortunately even after using the editing app, the info is still not found.
No reason why, and the devs are quiet.

if you want to get rid of that error message that appears when you try to access tab "Photos & Videos", just unzip the attachment "Album Searcher Signed.zip" and copy the .exe file to windows directory intro TG01.
How did you get that take your position??
When I try it´s impossible and if I go to settings and try to "click" in position it give me an error message that says: "Can´t open AGPSettings"
you don't have to use My Location. Just enter another city for updating the weather.
I enter another city, but in the clock screen apears under the clock "my ubication" and not the city that I selected in the wether screen
So I can´t look the weather in the main screen with the clock and the cool animation I have to go to the right untirl the weather screen and then select my city
for that, use this cab from attachment.

or just clic on the clock and select your city
Also i suggest in weather setting: disable "download weather for my location"

Can u make a call in sens 2.1 manila?

i found thease great cabs to change the back ground just unzip then pick the backgroun u like and install the cab for that back ground

it should appear, the last one i think.
I can't update weather information. The device gives a connection error but is connected via wifi. What can I do?

Just turn on the WIFI in wireless manger

i have the same problem ... there is no chance to place programs ...
I solved with hard reset of the device. I had installed the previous version of manila (1.3 ...) that created problems with the wifi (which was tourned-on).
some feedback.
I've installed it correctly, but have few remarks...
- Battery disappears from the title bar. (is there a solution or a widget to show teh battery?)
- Sometimes crashes with calls log.
- in the pictures tab (after fixing the error bug) i can't click/chose any of the photos, even can't activate the Camera from this screen.
- Also Albums are not working.
- in the settings tab, commManger and email setup are not working.
- Youtube link in the browser's tab is not working
this is all what i noticed so far...
I've switched to 2.5 because this one is allways shutting down after 4/5 seconds without doing nothing
I've managed to deactivate all of the tabs and played with the configs within that time... but it was a no go...
Can someone help me out getting the source of the problem
I'm running on a B7610 with stock 6.1
After an hard reset
i've installed sdkcerts, net 3.5, netcfg (to make device use 3.5 instead of 2.5), audio fixes, album searcher...
is there something that i have missed or i have to do in particular
And now, due to the versions that are out
between this one and 2.5 wich one is the most stable and bug less
i'm on the 2.5 very fast and smooth... But it only works more as info and eye candy (contacts and answering messages and calls doesn't work)

Hey, someone has put this link in the wrong post. I don't know really how does it work but I'm sure you guys can deal with it:
Is like an ftp site with several files to install Sense 2.1 in our TG01. Take a look and maybe you can use them to solve some bugs.
Edit: Because of I'm a new user, I can't post the link. However I can tell you where you can find it. In the "TG01 ROM Development" forum, the post named "Need any Toshiba TG01 rom", look at the entry #262 in the 27th page.

hi i have installed manila 2.1 but som of the key dont work.
do i have to install other cabs to get the same screen shots as post 1
where do install the netFramework3.5 on the o[phone or computer and where can i find it from?

anyone figure out issue with calling from a contact? I have this installed on i920 w/ stock rom and whenever I select a contact and try calling it would restart touchflo.... Also my location didn't work.

I have problem with Manila Weather.
Today in the morning i updated manila weather - everything is ok, temputere etc, but there is no sun only moon (like at night). All my locations has the same "bug". Moon is also on a new locations, which I added. In my location is almost 12 am.
I deleted forecast_cache.db file and it didn't help.
Is it sth wrong with my phone/soft or with this weather service?
I have hd2 3 months and this happened first time.
funny same for me today i upload every hour and still the moon !!
cannonbal, I think this is a problem with the service, not with our phones....
But, i dont know if the weather will be fixed by itself or we will have to do something.

Don´t worry, must be a bug in the external weather-server and can´t be corrected on HD2. Maybe a time-code is transmitted wrongly.
Let´s see if it is still the same in a couple of days then we´ll have to contact HTC service to check the weather data provider service if they didn´t got to it already.

This is a global issue!! Some server problem just like My Location couldn't be updated last time and now fixed. So not your phone's own problem.

It´s not possible without changing the weather application itself
Same here sun at night moon during the day lol but hey they'll sort it out.
I bought weatherbug elite since it has way more features and a city list that comes in handy.
My HTC sensation arrived yesterday, however after the 2.3.4 update I seem to have some weird issue.
While the gps is super precise in finding my location the meteo (which if i got that right works using the the wifi) seems to find a whole different area. The plan was to overcome the issue by setting my own location on the widget which unfortunatly is not present in the device archive (Alessandria Italy).
Is there a chance to add it ?
The location updates correctly if I decide to use only the GPS to determine my location, it works perfectly with the meteo application but the widget (the clock one) does NOT work with wireless location deactivated.
It would just be a lot easier I could add my own city to the database using weather codes, isnt there a way to do so?

Flashed this custom ROM no prob.(HTC Sensation) but saw one annoying thing -
I want to know is this for me or this is a bug that original widget clock shows me +1h time(living in latvia so my timezone is +2GMT)... In top right corner the little time shows right but the clock widget shows +1h...
Try'ed changing timezone but still there is incompatibility with clock... eemm I manually set the right time(it was in automaticly get operator values) but the same bug i guess..
Downloaded 'Beautiful widgets' and set up clock widget on it and it shows the right time so I guess its the modded ROM's clock widget's fault? Or i'm wrong?
Please fix or help

Same in Lithuania... The problem is that u cant set up time zone manualy for widget. So it gets wrong one. This bug was fixed in one of beta ics builds, but in the last one problem came back...
