There will be no more updates on this 5.2.1413 ROM, My goal is achieved: packages are ready to use in other kitchens.

And of course all the TOUCH files
The Cube is invoked by the voicedial button.
-Slide Finger UP the first time to invoke
-Slide finger up in order to hide
-slide finger from side to side, the next time you want to invoke.
The known bug(s):
-OK/X button
FIX: use the re-alignment settings as shown in this post)
Or you could try the reg file in touch.zip attached in this post
-No mms
FIX: use the Asukal mms cab from here to install MMS features. (don't install the pocket MSN, it's already integrated)
-No icon for zip-file
FIX: install the reg in the zipicon.zip archive.
-while editing today screen, it could freeze up.
FIX: install the reg in today-set-freeze-fix.zip
-`Maybe a bug': Bluetooth headsets fail with some users, they do pair, but don't function! Others report it being fully functional.
Not a bug, but a feature: there are only Dutch and Belgium city's available in the today-weather app.
Replace the HH_0409_WeatherCities.xml with your own..

Here are the OEM Packages For Touchflo.
Note:
---> in order to use the packages, you will need to delete some files and modules from the Kitchen <---

Use duplicate file finder (freeware) and add some extra filters for mui, lnk and dat.
Then you still have to remove the modules.
The OEMAPPS package still contain files not belonging there, so some could be moved to a new package, however, it's sanitized the best I could (regarding the time I've had)
I have tested these packages only as a complete unit, not the separate packages!
-So the problem could occur that a stand-alone package would not work.
DOWNLOAD THE NEW V2B PACKAGES HERE

Alling your touchscreen as shown in attached image.
This will fix all of the button problems.
Or you could try the touch.reg in the touch.zip (these are my alignment settings, could work, could fail, if it fails retry aligning according my instructions)

verify under settings/buttons that button 4 is set for the cube function.
Once you press button 4, release it, then slide your finger from left to right.
Once it starts rotating screens, to exit back to the "home" page, go from bottom to top.
I haven't tried the rom directly, but this was the function in the French rom.

the splash screen's nice, but after i flashed the first time, button 4 was empty and it wasn't in the button settings' drop down menu.
after second flash, it works and it's SOOOO COOOL! i didn't go to the button settings thing at all for fear of it being empty again and then me pressing ok and then losing it forever like the first time i flashed.

i went to button settings again and lost it once again. i clicked buttons (in settings), saw that button 4 was empty (after cube had just worked) and had to press ok to get out of it and now i can't find it (nor use it). other than that, it's cool.

so the action of going to settings-buttons removes the entry? Hmmm... I wonder, even though the registry is specifying the application for the button when it's opened, when the button control is invoked - it doesn't match to a predefined list and thus removes it. Once it's open, it has overwritten the registry... just thinking out loud...

i haven't been looking but the only french of the today screen is the htc audio plugin when it displays the "tap here to play songs.." or something.

ok, the keyboard is not qwerty. i must flash to something else for now. that cube rocks though.
edit: whatever, i can handle azerty for a day if i can mess with the cube...

i love it but the only prob is that my keyboard imput is kinda messed ie if i hit the "w" key it makes a z and vice verca lol can anyone tell me how to fix this?
or is there a keyborad cab file??

Have been working on OEM packages, in order to use these things in other kitchens/ROM's.
So a touchflo rom will be possible from a kitchen of your choice.

The azerty keyboard is a pain, I know.
But I will be able to import my packages to a clean, WWE kitchen, so a lot of junk will be lost.

Must be a fluke, I didn't have that problem.
I have flashed so often this weekend I lost count, have switched batteries a lot of times (thank god for the desktop turbo charger). Also glad I had a sd backup, because at a given time the phone was protesting a lot, didn't even wanted to be flashed in bootloader..

Changing Font of HTCHome Clock

I generally like the HTC Home plugin, although I do not particularly like the font that HTC chose for the large clock display.
I have looked through the registry, but have not been able to find the clock font details.
I do like the iPhone clock font or the font type as shown by robinVerdegaal in this (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=355277&page=4) post:
Does any one know how to just change the font of the clock without disabling the HTC Home Plugin?
I have another question too:
Does anyone know how to update/add in to the list of cities and towns in the HTC Home weather list - once again I tried to find in the registry, but was not successful.

I had actually tried this program, but I was not able to get it to work.
I had tried it under a few different scenarios.
I had first changed all of the HTC Home Plugin customisations back to the defaults (by resetting the appropriate registry hacks to get back the 4 button HTC Home screen layout i.e without the Quickdial and Music Player buttons).
I then did a soft reset.
I then installed HTC Home Customiser.
When I run the program, I get the following message:
"An unexpected error has occurred in homecust.exe. Select Quit and then restart this program, or select Details for more information".
The Details are as follows:
"homecust.exe
IndexOutOfRangeException
at homecust.homecust..ctor()
at homecust.Program.Main()"
I have also tried to directly add the seperate icon files and font files into the HTC Home program files and the edit the registry to find them, but still get the same error readings.
So now I'm stuck as to what to do next.

Turpino, just be careful with the latest plugin as you may have a problem with the "automatic" profile selection. I've tested it and remark this problem.

Clear mail notification automatically on preview of TF3D?

When I read a text message in TF3D preview, it automatically clears the notification. Is there a work around to also do this with the mail preview? Most of my emails are short but after reading the preview, I still have to go into the messaging inbox, select each message and then OK back out to TF3D.

Go into Inbox, then Menu/Select Messages/Several. Select the unread ones, hold the stylus on one and select Mark as Read.

Use this - it works on mine. Disable Touch Flo on your Start/Settings/Today/Items, then use Total Commander and move/replace the manila file in your Windows folder, then re-start Touch Flo and this should cure this bug.

Can you please explain what this actually does and what version of sense it's for? I would very much like to be able to mark an email as read without having to actually pull up the email. Either a menu option during preview, a new button or just the fact that it was previewed would work for me.
BTW (to the original poster), I use S2U2 and it allows you to preview emails while locked and mark them as read.

This doesn't mark an email as read without having to actually pull up the email. What it does is exactly what WMGuy wanted. It clears the envelope in the taskbar without having to open the email in WM. This manila file works with touch flo 2.0. I'm not sure if it will work with 2.1, 2.5 or 2.6. The only thing I can suggest is that you back up the manila file from your Windows folder first and then try....
With regard to your request to be able to mark an email as read, you are lucky you get a preview in the first place - if you use Blackberry to get your emails, you don't get a preview! It gives you the sender and subject but just says "click to open message"!!!! So I'm sorry, but I can't help with your question kravguy. I would actually like something for this too. With the option to delete it as well.

I have searched on manila 2.5 and this file doesn't exist in windows folder so maybe this is only for manila 2.1.

EDIT: doesn't do anything!! So for manila 2.5 we must find other way to clear notification in tab mail on preview.
I really want a solution for this because in most cases the preview is enough for me so why enter the inbox to mark as read??

Well I've been in a flashing marathon for a few days. I'll gladly go back to 2.0 for this reason alone. 2.5 is nice but kinda busy and slow for me anyway.
So just to clarify mitsi, when you get an email, you slide to the email tab, read the preview and then the notification clears automatically from the envelope (after applying the file)?

Yes, that's right. If you're going to flash a 2.0 rom instead, why not just try this manila to see if it works on your 2.5 first? I'd be interested to know. I prefer 2.0 to 2.1/2.5 anyway because I want at least 4 appointments showing on my today screen even if they are up to a month in advance....

Didn't somebody already try and it didn't work?

You're right, Zimaia edited his post and I didn't notice it.
I'm using the HTC Stock Rom 1.39.405.2 (47382) with Manila 2.0.37889.1. It works fine for me.

I'm kinda surprised that this isn't a bigger issue or that HTC didn't think to add a little more functionality in the email preview tab. 2 (what seems to be easy) functions (delete and mark as read)... there's a reply (to all which is another frustrating thing to me) but nothing else? My main problem is this, I get some emails in, and want to delete some and keep some. Well, since I cant do that from the preview, I have to go to the inbox. Problem with that though is that I have no way of scrolling through them to delete here and there (maybe I'm missing something here). I can pop up the menu and click on the option to select multiple messages, but that's not really what I want. I want to do something like, select the fourth message in the list (without opening it), delete it, then select the 6th, etc. I can't seem to get the zoombar to work.

If I'm understanding you correctly, to delete the 4th message in the list without opening it, just tap and hold on the message and a context menu will pop up with delete as an option.

Well I tried it with 2.1 and it was a no go also. So I can verify that 2.1 and 2.5 don't work. I even found the exact file I was supposed to be replacing so I was excited. But all it did was shrink down the size of the preview folder. Message notification stays.
Hopefully a solution will come to this someday soon.

I tried s2u2. I have all Lock System Notfications on. When I preview the message on the lock screen: A) I can't seem to figure out how to mark them as read without going into messaging and B) I can't figure out how to browse through all of the previews (ie if I have more than 1 new email).
What am I doing wrong?

When the preview comes up, tap and hold on the message till it goes away. It should mark it as read (if you have that turned on in the settings) and then the next preview should come up.

What about tapping and holding the message you want to delete?

i would also like to be able to have preview mark an item read, like outlook has the opttion after X seconds to mark an item read when using the preview pane

Stock Verizon 6.5/Sense 2.1 ROM Problem with Today Screen Animated Wallpaper

I have updated my TP2 with the stock Verizon WM6.5/Sense 2.1 ROM upgrade. I have noticed that the weather animations on the Today screen wallpaper, which I think are great, will stop working if I go to beyond the Start screen and hit "All Applications", and it brings up the full apps list. Even without starting any of the apps there, going back to the Today screen, the animations on the wallpaper will not work with any method that I can find other than restarting Sense 2.1 with a soft reset or similar restart of manila.exe
I know most folks here are beyond the stock ROMs but wondering if anyone has seen this too and figured out how work around this problem that I assume is a bug and will not in all probability ever get fixed from HTC. Hopefully this is the worst probelm with the new ROM, whick I can live with but would like to correct if possible.

After a while it does stop the animation. One trick I found out (and it helps with the memory leak), is just move around the tabs just to initate the reloading of sense. Then it will do it again.

Hit the task manager at the top right of the screen (where you close running programs, etc) and then close it. The animation will restart.

I recognize the open and closing of Task Manager does restart it under normal situations, but it will not restart it if you go into the All Applications page. Thats what breaks it...keeps the aminations from running again until you restart Sense 2.1 through several methods, soft-reset, going through the motions of changing the Today screen icons (see above) or some app that resarts the manila.exe program like cleanRam.

Interesting I never noticed this before.

Doesn't do it on mine. I've got the "All Applications" page in Sence 2.1. I've also installed 4 icons in the All Applications and All Programs pages, Awsome Start (single row WinMo start menu). Plus animated weather with any home screen wallpaper and a working BG4All.
Goin to My Application, or All Programs, then back to home and weather works fine. So either somthing in the .cabs & tweaks I've done has fixed it, or somthing in the .cabs & tweaks you've done broke it.

Yup it does it for me. Now I know what stops the weather.

I have a pretty much stock phone with several tweeks/cabs (stop sent message balloon, restore message light flashing capabilities, and a couple of other minor ones) that I don't believe have anything to do with breaking it so I'm gussing that some of yours are "fixing it".

Hmm maybe its the weather for all backgrounds that is making the weather stay. I guess I will look for that cab and see if it fixes our problem.

Don't have the ability to hook up my phone and upload the .cab... but search for: "2.1apristel BG4ALL_W_Fullscreen_Animations.cab" and you should come up with it pretty quick.
That's the only one that worked for me with the CDMA Verizon 6.5/Sense 2.1 phone without breaking somthing else.

Myself personally, I do not like the Manila start menu, and have disabled it. I use the standard WM 6.5 honeycomb start menu. I have not experienced any problems with the animations since disabling the manila start menu.

How do you disable just the Manila (Sense 2.1) start menu and use the WM6.5 one?

You can do it one of two ways.
I did it with a .cab that also added a "Programs" tab in the TouchFlo/Sense interface as well. But using the registry editor. HKLM\Software\HTC\Manila\Configuration. Open File 11 and under the D word value "Enable", change the value from 0 to 1.
There is another edit, though, where you can choose which start menu the device uses. I'm 99% sure it's HKLM\Software\HTC\Manila and under the D Word Value "IsWM6.5" and the default setting is no (which = 0). Change it to a "1" and I'm pretty sure you'll get what you're looking for.

In both cases, my settings are "1" and I have not changed these at all from the Stock VZW 6.5 upgrade. Am I misreading?

Hmmm, I Downloaded My ROM from PCD & I Don't Have Animated Weather for My Today Screen, Only In My Weather Tab. Where Did You Download Your ROM From?

Actually I deleted it. The phone was updated and working properly so I saw no reason to keep it as I could always download from the PCD website again.
Did you load other tweak cabs to your new 6.5 ROM that you had in 6.1. Maybe you did someting. Try a hard reset?

Change registry setting below:
HKLM\Software\HTC\EnlargeMenu\EnableManilaStartMenu
Set DWORD to 1 (use TF3D)
HKLM\Software\HTC\EnlargeMenu\EnableManilaStartMenu
Set DWORD to 0 (Use WM Menu)

ive searched all over and found only two cabs for the stock album and they both dont work...i install it gets to the end and says the program has insuffient privleges to install.
Does anyone have any suggestions? or know where i get a working cab for the stock album please??
Im running stock 1.43 rom.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

if you have album running in the background this can prevent a cab from writing over a file being accessed. also install bsb tweaks and allow unsigned apps (not sure what this does but it sounds relevant and can't harm). see if these help. Otherwise i just use resco photo manager anyway

Thanks for suggestions optiknerv ive done the bsb tweak but still the same. I can access the album on the silder but it just comes up blank and doesnt show pictures. It does however show the number of files but no image comes up.

i think you can't install the cab because the album process is running in the background. install a fully featured task manager, kill the album process and then install the cab you want.
anyway do the images show on sense but not in album? can you see anything accessing album direct from start menu? are you viewing the correct folder where your pictures are?

I can view the pictures if i use the start menu and then go to multimedia but they dont show on sense just blank screen with number of images that i have. Would a fully featured task manager be touch x longpress task manager??? sorry still trying to figure out the wonderful world of WM.

not sure if deleting the contents of \Application Data\HTC\HTC Album\ would help forcing album to refresh the cache? this could make it worse though but its nothing a hard reset wouldn't fix if it all goes tits up

Sweet task manager thanks for that bud.
Um yeah the pictures show up in the link labelled album but they dont show up on the sense interface for photos and videos which sucks coz i like the way you could landscape scroll and what not with a flick of a finger.
I killed the process and install album cab but still no go...ill try another cab from earlier on and see how that goes.

taking a look at my process tree i presume album searcher would also have to be killed. but since you can view images in album not sense i wouldn't have thought that album is your problem. try taking a new picture and see if that pops up in sense. would have thought this would also refresh the cache on the rest.

Try deleting that folder contents listed above first. If not then HR or wait until someone with more knowledge than myself gets out of bed lol.

Ok does anyone else find this weird....i have try all the above mentioned methods and even hard reset to factory standard and now when i install one cab file even if its remove top bar or change to cookie tab home screen the same problem comes up. I cant view pics in the sense album using slider and i cant set an alarm i can get into the menu but it just comes up blank.
Any suggestions???
