Due to the many request:
wizard reTOUCHed FINAL

There will be no more updates on this 5.2.1413 ROM, My goal is achieved: packages are ready to use in other kitchens.
-HTC Camera
-Pocket MSN
-esmertec Java
-battery status
-pocket RAR/ZIP
-registry editor, taskmanager
-Total Commander
And of course all the TOUCH files
The Cube is invoked by the voicedial button.
-Slide Finger UP the first time to invoke
-Slide finger up in order to hide
-slide finger from side to side, the next time you want to invoke.
The known bug(s):
-OK/X button
FIX: use the re-alignment settings as shown in this post)
Or you could try the reg file in touch.zip attached in this post
-No mms
FIX: use the Asukal mms cab from here to install MMS features. (don't install the pocket MSN, it's already integrated)
-No icon for zip-file
FIX: install the reg in the zipicon.zip archive.
-while editing today screen, it could freeze up.
FIX: install the reg in today-set-freeze-fix.zip
-`Maybe a bug': Bluetooth headsets fail with some users, they do pair, but don't function! Others report it being fully functional.
Not a bug, but a feature: there are only Dutch and Belgium city's available in the today-weather app.
Replace the HH_0409_WeatherCities.xml with your own..

Here are the OEM Packages For Touchflo.
Note:
---> in order to use the packages, you will need to delete some files and modules from the Kitchen <---

Use duplicate file finder (freeware) and add some extra filters for mui, lnk and dat.
Then you still have to remove the modules.
The OEMAPPS package still contain files not belonging there, so some could be moved to a new package, however, it's sanitized the best I could (regarding the time I've had)
I have tested these packages only as a complete unit, not the separate packages!
-So the problem could occur that a stand-alone package would not work.
DOWNLOAD THE NEW V2B PACKAGES HERE
[size=+2]FIX YOUR BUTTONS WITH THE FOLLOWING SCREEN ALIGNMENT:[/size]
Alling your touchscreen as shown in attached image.
This will fix all of the button problems.
Or you could try the touch.reg in the touch.zip (these are my alignment settings, could work, could fail, if it fails retry aligning according my instructions)

verify under settings/buttons that button 4 is set for the cube function.
Once you press button 4, release it, then slide your finger from left to right.
Once it starts rotating screens, to exit back to the "home" page, go from bottom to top.
I haven't tried the rom directly, but this was the function in the French rom.

the splash screen's nice, but after i flashed the first time, button 4 was empty and it wasn't in the button settings' drop down menu.
after second flash, it works and it's SOOOO COOOL! i didn't go to the button settings thing at all for fear of it being empty again and then me pressing ok and then losing it forever like the first time i flashed.

i went to button settings again and lost it once again. i clicked buttons (in settings), saw that button 4 was empty (after cube had just worked) and had to press ok to get out of it and now i can't find it (nor use it). other than that, it's cool.

so the action of going to settings-buttons removes the entry? Hmmm... I wonder, even though the registry is specifying the application for the button when it's opened, when the button control is invoked - it doesn't match to a predefined list and thus removes it. Once it's open, it has overwritten the registry... just thinking out loud...

yep, you got it. meanwhile (after flash #3 in the past hour), i'm going to have fun with this and not even think about touching the "buttons" icon in settings until someone who knows how to deal with it can fix it.
i haven't been looking but the only french of the today screen is the htc audio plugin when it displays the "tap here to play songs.." or something.

ok, the keyboard is not qwerty. i must flash to something else for now. that cube rocks though.
edit: whatever, i can handle azerty for a day if i can mess with the cube...

i love it but the only prob is that my keyboard imput is kinda messed ie if i hit the "w" key it makes a z and vice verca lol can anyone tell me how to fix this?
or is there a keyborad cab file??

Have been working on OEM packages, in order to use these things in other kitchens/ROM's.
So a touchflo rom will be possible from a kitchen of your choice.

The azerty keyboard is a pain, I know.
But I will be able to import my packages to a clean, WWE kitchen, so a lot of junk will be lost.

I have flashed so often this weekend I lost count, have switched batteries a lot of times (thank god for the desktop turbo charger). Also glad I had a sd backup, because at a given time the phone was protesting a lot, didn't even wanted to be flashed in bootloader..

[Issue] Home Tab Wallpaper

hey guys,
Just wondering why i am not able to change my home tab wallpaper...for some reason it is not changing, it is staying black background!
after hard reset i was able to change it without any problem however after instaling several essential HD2 cabs (20 shortcut, and many others that are available on this forum) I am not able to replace the default one. Usually there is a message poping up asking you whether you want change the wall paper to the default one, but i am not getting it.
Ironically i am capabe of changing it to the animated wall paper...I am really puzzled!!!
Can anyone help please?

Use the animated wallpaper option, but browse to the wallpaper of your choice instead.
If that doesn't work then one of the "essential" cabs that you have installed has caused the problem. You may be able to resolve it by uninstalling the culprit, but you may need a hard reset as not all mods get uninstalled fully.

I am afraid the alternative solution did not work!!!

it is definetly the 20 shortcut, i have unistalled it and it worked fine.
so i guess we know what the problem is...but had to install the 20 shortcut back because it is very usefull

True, it is the shortcut-cab that causes the problem. But after selecting my new background and re-installing the shortcut-cab, the problem is back.

Have you tried using HDWall to create your wallpaper? I use it because I want the same wallpaper on all the tabs, and I also use the 20 quicklinks cab and they work together fine.

have not atually...searched it and did not want do something wrong, i can live with black background

Well, I tried to manage it but it worked not perfectly. I got an other wallpaper at the background, but parts of it where missing (a black bar above the sliderbar). That's why I uninstalled it and now have to deal with the black background also, waiting for someone else finding a fix

I had the same problem with the latest version of HDWall (v0.28b), but the previous version (v0.27b) worked fine. Just make sure you go into the config screen and ensure you're making cabs for WM6.5 and Sense 2.5.
Edit:
I've just tried v0.28b again, and it works as long as you install the "High Quality Wallpaper for Home Tab & Manila Start Menu by Co0kieMonster".
It now fills the screen correctly, and is higher resolution than the previous versions. It looks great now!

Great, that's better! Only one 'problem' left, I want the bottom of the screen (with 'contact'-button and 'menu'-button @ homescreen) to be black instead of the color from the background. Is there any way I can change that?

This is a bit poor, I know, but it works.
Open Settings (or All Settings from the settings tab), and go to Today. Change the theme and click OK. Then, open the Today settings again and change the theme back (I assume you want HTC Black, from your comment). Click OK and it's done.

Cant change my homescreen wallpaper from weather!!!

I dont like having all the clouds floating across the screen, I think its a waste of space+ it makes my 1ghz -.- leo lag.
So Ive tried changing the homewallpaper to animated then choosing my own 480x800 wallpapers, but once I set them, I go back to check on the homescreen and I still have the default stuff on there Ive tried restarting ect, nothing.
You can see what rom im running from my signature, Im not sure if thats making any difference. I think the problem may be the fact that I just tried to install Vovichek_Jamrecords 16 quicklinks, but it didnt work, I got the screen attached to this thread, so I uninstalled it and everything went back to normal, or so I thought, may this be the problem?

The method you described should work. I can only guess that you're right about the ROM or the 16 quicklinks affecting it.
Can't help, other than to say that it works on mine when I do that, so it's not default behaviour.

I was obviously being sarcastic, but in case yours doesn't do this...
All the people in my contact list have the same full name or the same email address that they have on facebook (if they're on there).
I only have to manually link about 2 of them, out of about 30. I just go into the people tab, all people, and the updates and events tab (the figure with a clock next to the head) and perform an update there. It automatically links the majority of my facebook/contact matches.
Do you have to manually link them all 1-by-1?

I just set my wallpaper to animated, but selected a static one, and then set it back to the weather one. I also did a registry dump of HKCU before and after setting it back to the weather one, and I found 1 change when I'd set it to a non-weather background.
Try setting this registry key. You'll need a reset afterwards.
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\Manila]
"Home.WallpaperMode"=dword:00000002

Well I dont tend to put peoples email adresses in, but what your saying is that if I just bother to do it once (then it will always be saved when I use ppc pim backup) When I reload them on it will automatically link facebook profiles?

00000002 hexadecimal right? making the decimal 2? (Sorry I dont know much about the registry) I just tried that and nothing seems to have happened, I came back after restarting and the clouds/rain ect arent over the screen but I still cant change to an animated background (which btw Im not using actual animated bg's Im using still ones)

Yep - 0x00000002 = 2, so you know more than you think
If it's turned the weather animation off, then I'd say it's worked. Go to Menu, Home Wallpaper, and select Weather Wallpaper. Then browse for the background you want for the home page. Once you've got that, set that registry key and restart.
If the wallpaper doesn't change when you do it that way either, then it probably is the quicklinks change that's broke something, so I'd recommend looking at HDWall. If you don't know what it is, it's a cab creator for wallpapers that allows high quality images (not the downsized version that you get if you let the UI set it), and you can have it on all tabs too. I have 20 quicklinks and HDWall works great for me.
Anyway, lets see how you get on with changing the wallpaper first.

Yeah I got the decimal thing correct, but still it didnt work
+I have used hdwall before, but dont tend to bother as it causes
problems with manila 1922, but I gave it another go but nothing
changed.
In one last attempt I went onto the registry and changed the default wallpaper, but not I just have a white one lol @[email protected]

if you want to get rid of that error message that appears when you try to access tab "Photos & Videos", just unzip the attachment "Album Searcher Signed.zip" and copy the .exe file to windows directory intro TG01.

How did you get that take your position??
When I try it´s impossible and if I go to settings and try to "click" in position it give me an error message that says: "Can´t open AGPSettings"

you don't have to use My Location. Just enter another city for updating the weather.

I enter another city, but in the clock screen apears under the clock "my ubication" and not the city that I selected in the wether screen
So I can´t look the weather in the main screen with the clock and the cool animation I have to go to the right untirl the weather screen and then select my city

Also i suggest in weather setting: disable "download weather for my location"

i have the same problem ... there is no chance to place programs ...

I solved with hard reset of the device. I had installed the previous version of manila (1.3 ...) that created problems with the wifi (which was tourned-on).

some feedback.
I've installed it correctly, but have few remarks...
- Battery disappears from the title bar. (is there a solution or a widget to show teh battery?)
- Sometimes crashes with calls log.
- in the pictures tab (after fixing the error bug) i can't click/chose any of the photos, even can't activate the Camera from this screen.
- Also Albums are not working.
- in the settings tab, commManger and email setup are not working.
- Youtube link in the browser's tab is not working
this is all what i noticed so far...

I've switched to 2.5 because this one is allways shutting down after 4/5 seconds without doing nothing
I've managed to deactivate all of the tabs and played with the configs within that time... but it was a no go...

After an hard reset
i've installed sdkcerts, net 3.5, netcfg (to make device use 3.5 instead of 2.5), audio fixes, album searcher...
is there something that i have missed or i have to do in particular
And now, due to the versions that are out
between this one and 2.5 wich one is the most stable and bug less
i'm on the 2.5 very fast and smooth... But it only works more as info and eye candy (contacts and answering messages and calls doesn't work)

Is like an ftp site with several files to install Sense 2.1 in our TG01. Take a look and maybe you can use them to solve some bugs.
Edit: Because of I'm a new user, I can't post the link. However I can tell you where you can find it. In the "TG01 ROM Development" forum, the post named "Need any Toshiba TG01 rom", look at the entry #262 in the 27th page.

i've been using Co0kie.HomeTab_v1.6.1 cause i love the multiple quicklink pages!
the CHT161 fN Clock Array MOD v0.1, allows to change between 3 clocks. but i dont like any of the clocks.

my goal is to be able to have the auto changing wallpapers people talk about in this ofrum, and also the ability to change my clocks thats it!
and i cant seem to do it and then i have to reset phone, and redo all my settings ringtones etc.. which takes me hours. could anyone please guide me in the right direction on what is needed for me to have cookies abundent amount of quicklinks, the ability for me to change clocks, get rid of the ugly HUGE clock, get rid of the flipping, and the ability to change wallpapers?
ive tried downloading and using...http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=493011 but it cant get ti to show clocks or do anything? do i need rom updates? or a diffrent manilla?

Have you tried MaxManila Ultimate? Version 3 will suit your version of manila.

Note that you can NOT run MaxManila AND Cookies together. You will need to choose one over the other.
The reason I think MaxManila might suit you is the 8 varied options for the clock layout (plus various options for the interface itself). MaxManila will not give you as many quicklink pages as Cookies; however it will give you the option to increase the default 9 to 15 - 20.
I am unsure why you continue to apply a hard reset and wipe your data. Are you aware that if you do not like a feature that you have installed, under most circumstances you can simply uninstall it?
To do this go to: Settings - Application - Remove program

the reason i keep doing hard resets is many of these manilla\themes ive tried it says it wasnt completelly removed when i uninstall them do you want to remove this from your programs? i choose yes and it still stays there. so my goal is to have a clean phone. is there a program like acronis,or norton ghost for cell phones? THAT WOULD SAVE ME A LOAD OF TIME!
not sure why i'm having such difficult with this. ive been reading about tweaking the appearnace of this phone for almost 2 weeks now installed, uninstalled, reset, wrong version, use this manilla if ya have this version but dont use it if you have this, but use it if you use that, but most definatelly don't use it with this model number, if your model is this and you have this rom then update this maniila to this, but only use this cab along with this cab which is located over, once over here don't install this if your using this.
so from your reply... Max TF3D Theme Maker v4.1 will not work with my model phone? is that correct?
