So.... Do you have any idea.... What will happen when I flash my phone with another firmware!?
I really need answer for that...
Thank you...
Which other firmware are you planning to flash. You can flash XXKPE then XXKPQ over your existing firmware. Most mods are based on XXKPQ so I would recommend that

If you flash with another update firmware that is exclusively for i9003 nothing will happen the only thing is that you will be updated.

If anyway one have any suggestions for me Before I start.... Please replay for me...
I will notice if I start flashing
Waiting for another replay...
And thanks for replay ^^
Follow all instructions carefully and read up a lot on how to flash before flashing. As long as you do that, there really isn't much of a chance for you to hard brick your phone. Also, juz don't interior the flashing process

Yes like he said, xxkpq. But I don't see much of a difference other than having more custom roms. Its really up to you.

Baseband is related with modem and with the data transfer. For example i am from Argentina and has flashed XXXKPQ with the baseband of this ROM i have no coverga 3G/H only 2G cos this baseband works in 1900 frecuency and it isnt working in my location so i have to flash trougth odin baseband from LUBKB1 wich is for Argentina with works in frecuecy 950 and in this way I have covergage of 3G/H. I hope will be useful. And remember always flash firmware for i9003 or you will brick your phone.
sorry for my poor english.

As many users said, you won´t have problems with the phone. BUT you won't be able to get back your firmware to take the phone to Technical Service on Warranty. I couldn't find your firmware in sammobile, here nor sampro.pl

That is beacause you have the ordinary Samsung recovery and not the CWM.
Flash the phone with the universal CF-Root of amitbagaria, and then you will be able to do a rom backup (nandroid) with the CWM.

I wouldn't know and i dun really care about the warranty.
Android phones are made to be messed around with.
If u are afraid, stay with ur stock phone and dun root or CWM.
Else u can always buy the USB Jig to reset the counter for less than US$4.
Cheers !
to install zip bags from CMW is safe and convenient.

vurrutROM_FROYO ed.
I upload my progress it has made so far. But my phone is DEAD. I can not test them.
Firmware ZCKC1--- http://hotfile.com/dl/145742829/28efce9/I9003ZCKC1.zip.html
I guess I will also work with other firmwares CKXX Chinese, European, certainly not.NOT KB3

Test 1(1º compiled): http://dl.dropbox.com/u/962863/pruebas/vurrutKERv.tar

Test 3 (Test opp5 a 1200)(no tested): http://dl.dropbox.com/u/962863/pruebas/vurrutKERv1_1100_testopp5.tar
Test 1,2,3:
-Recovery skin.
-Governors : (Smartass,interactive...)

-Some things ,more experimental, otg,gpu,...
VurrutROM_froyo_alpha. V1: http://www.mediafire.com/?mo05dq8yrrzjegp

-Removed apps Chinese.
-Theme (single, I make theme very fast)
-Added more typical of vurrutROM apps. (Rom toolbox, Twitter, ...)
-Notification by LED.
-swype
-Tweaks.
Installation:
1.Install the firmrware with odin. (Marked Repartition) (do not take any google only Chinese things ...)
2.Install a kernel with odin.
(Additional)
3.Reiniciar recovery.
4.Wipe all
5.Install vurrutROM_froyo_alpha.
bugs:

A froyo kernel is like un-do the way, but is the most stable solution I think and there is not notification issue... Thanks a lot vurrut
what the heck please excuse me but if we want foryo then there are plenty of foryo stable roms e.g darkgen mod etc etc and kb3 is a stable 99%..
why don't u try ICS and move forwards instead of moving back ?

Froyo is, so far, the best solution for those who really need to rely on push notifications. So improving a kernel for froyo is not a bad idea at all.

Yes...i will try that tonight after work and post here.:good:
That doesn't work either....It starts to boot and freezes. The tablet is VERY hot. I cannot recommend this ROM to anybody. I have wasted more time trying to make this work than it's worth. I appreciate your effort and time, but this rom is completely unusable on our tablet (P5113 model).

FYI, I have installed this on our two here at home, been running flawlessly since the 7th. We also have the P5113.
It is no problem, I won't add any more time, effort into the tablet section. I'll stay compiling my I9000, I9100, I9300 ROMs.

According to the instruction from the developer it says" Copy the ZIP to your sdcard" assuming he is talking about external storage. Not sure as I am rumminf CM10, and running without ant issues.
DISCLAIMER: I'm not responsible for any damage to your phone, i tested all these files personally before uploading them and I don't have problems, but just in case you cannot blame me for any damage, no one forces you to mod your phone, if you don't want to risk don't do it
I'm here to give you a good news (even if it may be a little late since there will not be new baseband for our device)... I have found the way to flash the baseband in recovery, so from this moment our phone can be completely modded using only recovery mode
First of all I have to say thank you to @alireza7991 and @broodplank1337 because they were the first one to think it could be possible in this way. I have to say thank you to @Rhonin86 for testing help (he has a spare i9001 ) and to @adfree because he posted this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=52944982&postcount=29
Here is a list of zip files containing basebands, I will update it from time to time
I9001XXKPO (last Italian and German stock firmware no brand)
I9001BUKP7 (last Italian and German stock Vodafone firmware
I9001XXKPM
I9001XXKPL
I9001XXKPF (Stock italian 2.3.5 firmware no brand)
I9001DDKP9 (Last Indian baseband)
I9001XXKG3
me and @Rhonin86 tested this, it works on all custom recoveries
Thanks to:
@alireza7991 and @broodplank1337 for the concept
@Rhonin86 for testing
@adfree for the partition layout and names
I can't provide all the basebands for our phone because on sammomibile there are some rom not available, and they are really a lot so if you want to test a baseband available here, and then have the possibility to come back on the one you are using now and it is not available here this is all what you need.
The backup script take a backup of the current baseband and put it in /sdcard/amss.bak
The restore script flashes the file /sdcard/amss.bak on you baseband, so it restores the backup
WARNING
Dont play with amss.bak file and be sure it is in its place before restoring it

I9001BUKP7 (last Italian and German stock Vodafone firmware
me and @Rhonin86 tested this only on the last ADC TWRP 2.7.0.0, but should work on custom recoveries
Thanks to: @alireza7991 and @broodplank1337 for the concept @Rhonin86 for testing @adfree for the partition layout and name

Thank you for your work.
I guess XXKPO is the newest one (it's the baseband I'm using right now)
In your personal experience which one is best for signal specially GPS usage?

Emilio

i used the two uploaded ones and i think they are quite the same, i stucked with bukp7 because is the last i tried and being quite the same as kpo i did not want to use odin to change it, now i will gather some basebands and make flashable zips, so who wants can try easily
im using the KPO baseband , yesterday i flashed release 6 of the ADC's cyanogen team , i love it !!! fast & smooth with ZERO bugs, then i flashed the KPO baseband ...i dont know but i feel much more battery life ...due to the baseband or the new rom & kernet ???
Rom: AriesVE DevConnection Team CM 11.0 [ION+PMEM ADSP]
Kernel: K^Kernel 3.4.x OC/EXUV 366MB [ION+PMEM ADSP]
Recovery: Team Win Recovery Project v2.7.0
Baseband: XXKPO
Governor: smatassV2
I/O Scheduler: SIO
CPU Frequencies: 196 - 1665 MHz
Looks good! I'm now on KPM baseband (general Europe), because I'm from the Netherlands. Curious if the KPO baseband works in the Netherlands too!
Edit: connection with provider established! Let's see what it's going to do over time!

Thanks for your work.
It could be great if you made a zip for backup current baseband too.

Cool! What's your experience, do you need to wipe caches after flashing the baseband?

Ok, because I had it once upon a time with a stock gingerbread rom that it had issues after flashing a new baseband via odin and it stabilized after wiping caches. But maybe it was coincidence.
Im using XXKPO for almost 2 years now, and never had any problems with it. The batterylife is great and i also have signal everywhere (provider: o² Germany)

[Edit] Problem solved. You can ignore the following post. The camera is working with the XXKPO baseband!
----------
hello guys,
i flashed XXKPO in recovery. Since then my camera (aosp & google) can't safe photos anymore. The pictures are taken but not saved. It worked with XXKPK before,
I am using CM11-20140808-UNOFFICIAL-dev_connection_team_arievse
Things i tried:
1. factory reset
2. download baseband zip a second time, flash the new file
3. installing CM rom image again
Non of these efforts made a change.
I was thinking about formatting the internal sd-card, but i haven't done this yet, because i have no difficulties to write on this partition.
Does anyone have an idea, what caused this strange behavior?
Just wanted to know what will happen if I flash baseband/firware on custom rom? I mean from sammobile. Thanks

Yep!
1. Flashing a 4.0+ ROM/Kernel when you're using Gingerbread
If you want use a Jellybean/Kitkat ROM firstly you should upgrade your device to stock 4.1.2 otherwise get ready for brick.
2. Flashing CoCore kernel when you're using AOSP ROMs
Also you can't use this perfect kernel on AOSP ROMs (Cyano-AOKP-PA...) For some reason cocafe didn't add support for these ROMs. But AOSP kernels are based on CoCore. Shortly don't try to flash CoCore kernel on AOSP ROMs.
3. Writing false code in terminal
As you remember; early of our development there wasn't simple tools like UKF (and Triangle Away didn't support us.) You had to write DD codes in Terminal Emulator for flashing kernel and resetting warranty. Stretch out your fingers because even if you write false a single letter GUESS WHAT hardbrick.
4. Disconnecting your Odin process
Don't f*ck with Odin when he works with your device. (AKA rooting, recovery or firmware flash) If you disconnect your device at the false time, maybe you won't see Android anymore.

5. Flashing a China ROM when you're using Un-China device
Yes they have different things in their firmwares. If you didn't buy your Janice from China don't flash China firmwares.
6. Flashing a Gingerbread ROM when you're using Jellybean
You can't simply downgrade your device. You should have proper files for downgrading after you can flash any Gingerbread ROM/Firmware. MORE INFO
7. Ticking Re-Partition
If you're using Janice, re-partition is here for only downgrading. Don't use if you're rooting/flashing a regular firmware.
8. Dirty Installs
Clean install comes with stability. Dirty install might causes bootloops, softbricks or errors. It's your choice.
9. HAMMER
A hammer can cause too much thing.
So dear noobs (newbies), before spamming in Original dev threads or in inappropriate places to ask question about bla bla, take a look here, it may be useful! Good job King
When I read the above Act, like I was in an empire of Hammurabi with the sophistication of the technology, man. I love it. Very Helpful once. :good::good:

Actually, what did you do with your device is? I read you mention PIT-16GB, if you want to downgrade your device to the stock GB? Or do you want to do an update of stock GB to stock JB?
Well, since you've mentioned PIT-16GB, then I assume that you want to downgrade your device to stock GB. Now, you need to consider is whether your device is 8GB or 16GB? If 8GB then use the PIT-8Gb. If 16Gb, then use PIT-16Gb when you flash through Odin. Try clicking on the "MORE INFO" above, then you will see a thread in how to downgrade your device.
Mmmh ... I guess my answer is too easy to digest. I just read your post on the other thread. Maybe you should do as suggested by Senior @shut_down
