Hi, everytime i play a video on youtube it plays normally for a few mins but then it suddenly just pauses by itself, when i try to resume it , the video starts from the beggining.
Does anyone know where's the problem?

Maybe that's not the answer You want but in my case Kyrillos was buggy on my SG3. Now I'm a happy user of CM7. Just had Kyrillos few days.
Yes but CM7 does support HQ playing yet.

I have an AT&T captivate with the stock rom (rooted) and im having issues with recording videos about every 30sec to 1min the video freezes for about 1 or 2 sec then continues to record. as well as when im listening to long mp3s (like audio books) about every 3 or 4 min it skips for about 1 or 2 sec.
now im curious is that related to the lag that these phones experience ? and is there anything that you guys would recommend to help that ?
has anyone experienced this???

I had skipping in audio playback when I was stock, and when I used OCLF.
Changed to VooDoo and it went away.

I installed the OCLF and it made a huge difference! but it still skips, thanks again for your help
I am running rooted stock with no issues. it is probably related to some type of IO blocking by some other app. Voodoo should cure it. I am running without voodoo.
Hey everyone!
So I'm having this strange and annoying problem, every time I play video (let's say xvid .avi) the video stops after about 10min like it's finished playing the whole video file (goes back to menu or so). It happens with Mobo player, Mobo Video Player pro, Daroon player, MX Video player - those that I tried with. I thought maybe the CPU or GPU is overheating, but I really doubt on that, because the phone doesn't get hot, actually it gets more warm on a phone call, or when I surf the web. BTW, I don't think this problem is ROM dependent because I had this issue with the stock ROM and now I'm using the MIUI 1.11.25 ROM (Well didn't tested that on other ROM's that I tried, only those two).
So maybe somebody have the same problem and have a solution? Thanks!
Hey guys when ever i try to play 720p hd videos on my xperia active running ics 4.04
i get the error message "sorry,this video cannot be played"..and after this i wont be able to play any
videos till i turn my phone on again..and then for few minutes it plays smoothly and again it stops with that message..but in gb i never faced any such
issues with the same videos
i think it may be due to phones gallery app..so i opened those videos in MX player but there the video plays in S/W decoder mode and i cant change it
to H/W decoder mode because H/W decoder mode isnt available u can see that in the below screen shots.but after restarting everything will be ok ..
i formated my memory card but still the same ..only modification i made was that i rooted my phone..

Seems to be some kind of bug. Have you tried downgrading ICS from 4.0.4 to 4.0.0 (vanilla)? If you never encountered this problem before it's most certainly a software problem.
I don't know what kind of device you have, but there could also be some kind of compatibility issue. Try downgrading to vanilla or GB and see what happens:fingers-crossed:
I've experienced that on my S2 running 4.0.4 aokp.. but in my case it won't play 1080p high bitrate and .mkv videos.. tried mx player and i got the same problem.. on stock rom however, it plays fine and smooth without third party apps..
I think it's a matter of codec/libs that are require to play such file.. it's one thing that is still missing on aokp builds..

Hey guys at a major issue right now i was recording a video of my daughter earlier she was at sesame place and the phone was on a low power like under 10% but it recorded just fine as i was watching the video. I then looked at the video on video playback mode with even few different programs and it just plays back with lines and i thought ok maybe its a ROM issue with the video playback but i took videos of her before this before battery was under 10% and worked fine now im thinking is that the issue? I let the phone charge and still video does not play correctly sound plays perfectly but no video.
Really trying to find a solution to this because it was a great time and want to be able to share it with her. i can upload the video if needed

I updated my Skyrocket via Kies to stock JB. Looking back at the videos I've recorded in the past month I noticed that the videos lag on playback, stop playing after a few seconds, or are unplayable at all. I have tried recording at the 720 and 1080 setting and still get the lag. I know it's not isolated to my phone because my wife's Skyrocket (also on stock JB) has the same problem.
Does anyone else have the same problem? If so, what is the remedy. I don't have this problem with the videos I recorded when I was on stock ICS.

I did not face any such issues when I was in the stock JB.. now running CM 10.1. You can try to flash it again.. follow the below threads -
