[Q] Video playback stoping every ~10min. - HTC Sensation

Hey everyone!
So I'm having this strange and annoying problem, every time I play video (let's say xvid .avi) the video stops after about 10min like it's finished playing the whole video file (goes back to menu or so). It happens with Mobo player, Mobo Video Player pro, Daroon player, MX Video player - those that I tried with. I thought maybe the CPU or GPU is overheating, but I really doubt on that, because the phone doesn't get hot, actually it gets more warm on a phone call, or when I surf the web. BTW, I don't think this problem is ROM dependent because I had this issue with the stock ROM and now I'm using the MIUI 1.11.25 ROM (Well didn't tested that on other ROM's that I tried, only those two).
So maybe somebody have the same problem and have a solution? Thanks!

[Q] Video Playback randomly pauses after htk75d

Sorry if this is a repost. I couldn't find anything already posted regarding this issue with the wifi Xoom.
Is anyone else having issues with Video playback on their wifi xoom after htk75d update?
A couple days after updating, I am getting random pauses in video playback. Doesn't matter what format or size avi, mp4, mkv, all behave the same. After about a 30 seconds to 1 minute the video just pauses. There is no tearing in the video, ghosting or any issues with video quality. The video simply pauses. The video can be resumed immediately without any delay. This happens with pretty much any player I use. The only player that doesn't pause is the QQ player, however the video quality gets thrashed in this player. Even netflix pauses, which is odd. I have read other people having the same issue with this update on other tablets, but there doesn't seem to be an explanation or fix yet.
Please use the Q&A Forum for questions Thanks

I'm running Kyrillos 9.2 OC
Maybe that's not the answer You want but in my case Kyrillos was buggy on my SG3. Now I'm a happy user of CM7. Just had Kyrillos few days.
Yes but CM7 does support HQ playing yet.

720p video playback error on ics 4.04

Hey guys when ever i try to play 720p hd videos on my xperia active running ics 4.04

videos till i turn my phone on again..and then for few minutes it plays smoothly and again it stops with that message..but in gb i never faced any such
issues with the same videos
i think it may be due to phones gallery app..so i opened those videos in MX player but there the video plays in S/W decoder mode and i cant change it
to H/W decoder mode because H/W decoder mode isnt available u can see that in the below screen shots.but after restarting everything will be ok ..
i formated my memory card but still the same ..only modification i made was that i rooted my phone..
PLEASE HELP...
screen shot when i opened 720p video in MX player(before restarting)
screen shot when i opened the same video in MX player(after restarting)
Error message while opening in default gallery app
Seems to be some kind of bug. Have you tried downgrading ICS from 4.0.4 to 4.0.0 (vanilla)? If you never encountered this problem before it's most certainly a software problem.
I don't know what kind of device you have, but there could also be some kind of compatibility issue. Try downgrading to vanilla or GB and see what happens:fingers-crossed:
I've experienced that on my S2 running 4.0.4 aokp.. but in my case it won't play 1080p high bitrate and .mkv videos.. tried mx player and i got the same problem.. on stock rom however, it plays fine and smooth without third party apps..
I think it's a matter of codec/libs that are require to play such file.. it's one thing that is still missing on aokp builds..

[Q] Mysterious audio playback in htc pico

Hi there,
I got a mysterious problem with my htc pico and MX player.
If I run a video in MXplayer in SW decoder mode and while playing it, I change decoder to HW decoder, the player (video) blacks and player stops responding and then I have to stop the player by killing it. But the audio track of the video still plays through speaker. I can find nothing running in the task manager. If I try playing some audio or even try to use mxplayer to play that or other video, two audios overlap an play together.
So far, I have only found that reboot is necessary to stop the ghost audio.
Is there any taskmanager app or something that can show me list of background processes and decoders and can kill them?
My phone isn't rooted. I will probably root it very soon once I gain enough courage to do that. So, I would like to have a answer to my problem that doesn't need rooting.
Goto manage app and force close mx player. If you still hear the audio(!) then pull out the battery and restart.

Having trouble with speaker???

Okay so I have been using Nvidia shield tablet for almost 5 month now.
Ive never used a custom rom so I wanted to try something new
I have used tablet without any problem except poorly slow on aosp rom
then I installed bliss rom from here and boom guess what my device is way faster and better than ever b4
but it gave me some problem which is making weird noises when I play music via power amp, Mx player pro (those two were the only ones I gave try)
It doesnt seem to happen when Im on youtube and when I listen via headphon or bluetooth device.. just only happnes when its on this devices speaker.

video 24 ~ 31 sec its the problem. on the video it just shows its just stopping, video recorder prolly didnt catch its weird sound but it has really weird sound on sounds like the speaker is being torn apart.. ? more like mechanical sound buzzing,,,
No symptoms shows on vlc but I can't use vlc to watch videos cuz of subtitle reasons..
+ vlc haa the same problem after playing video for an hour
I have the same issue, did you find a solution?
I had a similar issue on AICP rom: speakers where doing weird screeching noises in certain situations ( watching video on MXplayer, game load screens ).
It seemed to happen when the CPU reaches the low freq - they may not be enough to handle the workload.
I just used the built in KernelAuditor to set the min CPU freq to be 300.
No more screeching since then.
