(NOTE TO MOD. PLEASE MOVE THIS POST TO THE INFUSE 4G GEN SECTION. THIS ISSUE MIGHT APPLY REGARDLESS OF THE PHONE BUT MY PHONE IS A INFUSE. THANKS.)
I seen this subject discussed but never really saw a answer, seems like everyone resorted to re installing firmware which I would like to avoid if I can.......
so, Ran into some trouble today trying to trying to do the 3e recovery mod today and had to reinstall stock firmware (using odin and gtg). Got root access and and was up and running. I went to updates just to see if anything was there and a update started and completed. the phone rebooted and was on the white and red update screen for about 4 secs and the phone rebooted again. When Got back to the home screen and got a message saying the update had failed. since then device management will not stop popping up. it stays in the task bar and if you use any process that needs it, it crashes and restarts itself. the message in the taskbar says "connecting to DM server" like its trying to get a update. how can I stop this without resetting the phone?

First we don't use Odin. As it is a different device post this in that device section.

Hello, tried finding a thread with the same issue but was not able to.
I did my first flash to a custom and the ROM flash went without any issues.
(TrickDroid for the S4 ROM)
Installation went fine, phone started up and I started setting up the accounts and WiFi.
Then when those steps were done the "update is available" screen came up.
There I have to choose data connection, WiFi only or any connection with the OK button at the bottom.
Well nothing happens when clicking the OK button and same result choosing either of the two choices.
Update available screen is the first thing I see after each reboot.
Done this update a few times before when phone has been reset due to updates and then it has worked just fine.
Any ideas?
Thanks.
EDIT: I reinstalled Trickdroid and removed my simcard before booting.. That way I got past the system update screen and am now able to use the phone.
Also disabled auto update and hopefully will not get stuck at that screen again.
Does anyone know why the Samsung update button when it pops up to check if there is any updates available. takes so damn long?
I clicked it one today, and it showed and prompted me to install the new update, yet when i tried to click it"Because want to save root i had to stop it to have it enabled" I came back to installing it, and it just hangs there swirling :/. Tried also FC - Google Services, and Clearing Data, then tried software updating, yet nothing.
It's been like this for the last 5 minutes
Any other way for me to reset and speed up this thing? is just stuck at "checking for software update"
Thank you guys!

simply because you tablet are rooted.
You can't receive OTA's. If you did, root would be removed as soon as you ran it.
Go to Sammobile and download the latest stock rom for your area... Flash with Mobile ODIN to keep root...
I rooted my device using king root, in that state i got the notification for an official update. I went to settings, about phone, and updated. after it rebooted, it started installing the update. halfway through the the status bar was a little less half full, it stopped and booted normally. It said the the update installation was unsuccessful. I remembered that i had the stupid kingroot, so i uninstalled it, it rebooted, everything so far so good. i went just to double check the OS version currently installed, still on 5.0.2 Lollipop. This time i went ahead and started installing the update. I noticed that this time it looked fine because the status bar didn't stop halfway through like last time. It kept going until it was more than half full. So I was like "ok, lets just leave it for now to do its job and ill look at it later" Later, I looked and it had a black screen with the android model with an exclamation mark. It said: "No Command" I decided not to **** with it, so i jut left it. I went to Motorola's website, and chatted with one of their technicians. She told me to factory reset it. She gave me instructions on how to do that, Which those instructions did not work. I went on YouTube and figured out a way on how to get into recovery mode and factory reset it, and that was what i did of course. Now all it does is boot, show me android model, power off. Then it keeps doing the same thing over and over until the battery dies, or i force to shut down from recovery mode. BTW i still can access recovery mode, and everything is useless and leads to boot-loop thing i just mentioned. Please help i feel like i really ****ed it up.

Hello,
I'd recommend you to restore your device back to stock firmware Restore to Stock][XT1068][All Dual Sim Model][4.4.4] with fastboot.
Also, I would advice you not to flash bootloader again. (Since if yours is updated with marshmallow one, flashing the older one (downgrading) might end in a brick).

last step fail

I accidentally deleted a photo and wanted to retrieve it. I found some software called DrFone which seemed to do something to my phone, I kept getting a security alert and I could no longer update my software because it had now apparently been modified. I have never root my phone and when I downloaded apps to check if it had been, it said status unroot.
I tried to manually update software with smartswitch and then my phone went to a blue error screen saying 'An error has occurred while updating the device software. Use the emergency recovery function in the Smart switch PC software'. I tried this but the recovery didn't work. I can only get to the download screen (all button pushing combinations wont work). I have also tried odin but that didn't work. Can my phone be fixed?
