Here is a digitalclock(transparent and blue);
Replace old digital clock and copy digital clock app.in system/app (use Root explorer) and then reboot.
Its work for XXKPQ and your rom must be rooted and deoxeded.

Calendar: Did not find the background image in Calendar.apk, suspect the colors are configured in one of the xml layout files...but they are binary encoded

its def possible, you should ask the developer of the app for it.
Market apps are signed so if I change something and sign it myself the app would work but you wont get market updates.
Check out CalendarProvider.apk for the calendar widget.

MetaMorph is an app: Market. Open MetaMorph and select the zip file from your sdcard to apply any morph.

not working for me
i installed metamorph
and then applied on the zip
then my current music widget went missing and then i rebooted
music widget is back but very same black one , no transparent

I've attached a modded Music.apk (Music 2.3.5 com.android.music) .
Copy it to /system/app/ using android commander or your fav tool
You guys have to check out this new HTC keyboard with voice and smilies! Also check out the new settings such as adjustable haptic feedback.....awesome. http://www.xda-developers.com/android/htc_ime-keyboard-v19/

Have you been able to get it to work. I tried this morning with no success.
working perfectly for me. dont flash the zip. inside the zip, push HTC_IME.apk and Clicker.apk to /system/app/ and then place the ".htcime" file on the root of your sd. make sure to use the low res zip (the one I posted), not the hi res

correct. the hi res zip uses HUGE buttons and only half of the keyboard shows on the screen.

If you push them to system/app it overwites the old one. I also restarted my phone.vI could not get voice to work, but if you long press the microphone it takes you into settings.

That does nothing; I figured it out though, you'll need Android 1.6 or later for it to work.

MIUI file manager are exclusive for MIUI rom. its way beyond my capability to port it as it need work around the apk and framework. sry mate.

Any suggestions on how I can mod my battery icons (and status bar icons would be great too but I'm happy with just the battery)?
I used to use UOT Kitchen while using GB but have just updated to ICS. Now when I try to upload the framework-res.apk from my phone it is 18.7MB. The max size allowed on UOT is 17MB so I get an error "file too big!"

Good effort, and I appreciate the try, but it doesn't work.
My device: (SM-T337A), rooted, running 4.4.2
Laptop: Linux Mint 17
Your instructions leave a little to be desired. What do you mean in step 4?
Here is what I did, please tell me where I went wrong.
1. Removed Weather widget from home screen.
2. ADB to Tab, mounted /system RW.
3. renamed Accu...apk to Accu...old
4. Copied your .apk to /system/app
5. Chmod 0644 your .apk
6. Rebooted device
7. Added your widget to home screen
8. "Unfortunately Weather and Briefing has stopped"
Where did I go wrong?
