Hey guys, after installing Android revolution hd(5.0.2) my sensation stock player doesn't want to work, that happens right after I press play on a song( it displays a notification: "Unfortunately,Music has stopped."),even if the song plays I am no longer able to use the player and I have to close it.
Please help me.
Thanks in advance
I'm guessing you changed the skin on your phone? Change the skin back to default and music will be sweet again
I don't think anybody knows why .....
Thanks a lot
Sorry for the question, But how is the Android Revolution 5.0.2 ? Is it good for sensation xe and how's th performance, Currently i a using insertcoin, and it's pretty good but the only thing i cant find is the incoming call screen from ICS, Mine one is still same as HTC but on ICS you also have an option for quick message, Does anyone know where can I find it Thanks

I'm using ARHD 5.0.2 and am pretty happy with it. There are a couple of minor annoyances with it, as you would expect with something that is essentially beta. But all the functionality is there and performance is good. On my Sensation (not XE) it currently only runs at 1.2GHz so it is slower than ARHD 3.6 but on a Sensation XE it will run at 1.5GHz so should be OK I would imagine.
If you do decide to go there, make sure you SuperWipe, then clear cache and dalvik. First time out I didn't clear cache and had some issues but now it is running sweetly.
This is really interesting. The UI will impact on Music player.

Hey.
I got my HTC sensation few days back..
1. I installed starfront: Collision but I cant play it because the buttons (ok and back) are off the screen!!!!!!! Any solutions?
2. ROM question - currently im running on Android Revolution HD.
Im considering Leedroid, InsertCoin, Pyramid 3D Neon.
On ARHD my battery life is pretty bad. Do any of the above roms have better performance/battery? And any personal recommendations regarding kernels?
Regarding the app, I don't think you will find a fix, maybe try a reboot..
For the ROM, it depends if you want a themed ROM or not. If you like themed, I would definitely give CoreDroid a try. And the kernel, from my experience anything other than stock right now causes bad battery drain.

Ive tried reboot, Ive tried spareparts. Neither one works. If anyone has a solution please let me know..
About the rom, I want to hang with sense a little more. When I get bored ill definitely give coredroid a try! Thanks
Hi There,
I have a rooted Sensation and have bean happily running Android Revolution HD for a while now but I’ve just noticed that LeeDroiD is available for the Sensation.
As a fan of LeeDroiD in the past and I still have it on my Desire I wouldn’t mind giving it a go but i just have one question.
Does this version need a partition on the SD card like the Desire version did or not? There doesn't seem to be any mention of it on the developers page.
Cheers,
Richard.

I've never partitioned anything on my sensation so far and have used many different roms . Best thing I say is to use the super wipe beforehand to get rid of all traces of previous rom so that no conflicts occur.
Good luck with your sensation :-D

No, it's just a straight up flash I believe. I would wait a couple of revisions before fully recommending it, however. If stable is what you're after, you might want to try Sensational 3.3.0.

Thanks for your replies guys, I do like revolution but i am still getting ocasional lock ups and reboots. I might wait a while though for a bit more development of the new LeeDroiD ROM.
I will take a look at Sensational 3.3.0.
Cheers...
I've just switched to Leedroid from Android Rev HD and so far so good. I have not experienced any of the bugs reported in the thread (touch wood). Before i flashed the Leedroid v4 all i did was a superwipe.
Liking LeeDrOiD.
Me too, after using Android Revolution HD from 3.5.2 through to 3.6.5 I’ve now switched to LeeDrOiD 4.0.0.
As fast and smooth as ARHD was it still kept locking my phone occasionally and requiring a battery pull. That gets really boring after a while, so far so good for LD though.
I just wiped and flashed with no problem at all, after a backup of course...
Bluetooth...
Has anyone else noticed a problem with this ROM when playing your music through the car's bluetooth?
This has always worked fine before but since i put LD on it doesn't seem to work.
It connects to the car and says it's playing on the phone but no sound comes out...

Have you tried LD 4.0.0?
I find it incredibly stable and the battery life is nothing short of amazing...
Hi, I have got brand new XE. It is a way cool phone. But the problem is that it is pretty laggy. Then I am scrolling menu, internet pages it is lagging. It is thinking (loading stuff) too long. One time it has even rebooted. I can't understand because everything is stock in it. No custom rom, kernel.
So I want to ask you guys if this ways is the one it suppose to work?
I was using Galaxy S2 before and it was perfect phone for me until it was stolen. It worked perfect, there was no lag. And now in this laggy Xe i can't feel no convenience.

This is xda. We flash our phones as quick as we can. Try to root your phone and flash some other roms.

Thanks for fast response. I know what the main idea of XDA is. But the actual question is still the same. Is HTC putting laggy phones to the market or is it mine phone faulty?
I would like to avoid flashing at this case. I want to keep guarantee. I am aware of loosing it..
Try a factory reset.

1)Phone isn't faulty
2)SGSII has GPU rendering or HW accel.
3)HTC hasn't optimized Sense yet to have HW accel
Sense has always been laggy on stock, this holds true since Sense made its debut on the hero; such a shame that 2 years later the issue is still present in 3.0 . IF you root the phone can be returned to stock too, I'm sure you will prefer the perf boost from root...I use IC(insert coin) and it's extremely fast at 702 w/ smartassV2, and there's a MOD for a super fast rosie to make the homescreen faster. However it's your choice to keep the XE on stock or return it for SGSII.
I just bought this xe 2 days ago..so far, did not notice any lag..yet..
Try factory reset..maybe it will fix it..

I guess ya right. SGS2 couldn't be compered as is has got acc. I was overclocled mine old sgs2 to 1.6ghz and ir was perfect. I thought that 1.5ghz of xe holds some serious power. Maybe it is. However, i really need to root it, its the only way to seek for it.
When I was on stock unrooted roms, I always depend on task killers to keep things smooth. Although it is said that gingerbread has its memory management. Hope it works for you. To each his own. Some feel stock is best. Cheers

You have a Sensation XE. Congratulations. If you want to get the best user experience out of it: flash a cooked ROM.
Whether it's due to sub-optimum policy of HTC or the superb qualities of the cooks on XDA doesn't matter. Enjoy your smartphone.
If you don't want read through tons of messages in order to find stable ROMs: MIUI and CM7 are not ready yet; Hypersensation offers a nice alternative; and in my opinion the best ROM that 'feels' close to stock is SenSEAY 2.1. It's clocked @1.2GHz, so it's not the fastest, but it has zero issues and full functionality. But even at that relatively lower speed it is definitely smoother (=feels faster) than stock (updated OTA to *.4).
best regards
and enjoy (=don't stay sad too long over the loss of your Galaxy SII)
I can't say that my XE is laggy, I'd do a reset as mentioned above.
Hello all
Is there anyone here who has LeeDrOid ROM on your Sensation and experience problems with it being slow, and forget the ringing tones, alert tones etc?
Best Regards
Anita
On two seperate occasions I installed it, indeed, slow and laggy.
Another om

Can you recommend another ROM for the sensation that works well?
InsertCoin ics
Sent from my Sensation XE
I suppose you're talking about the 5.0.1 ICS LeeDroid ROM, since for me 4.3.0 has been perfect so far. I heard Lee is working on an update...So we should probably wait for that, and use InsertCoin, DarkForest or ARHD for ICS
after rooting to AHRD ICS 4.0.3, 3.25.401.101 etc. it takes a little while to go from 3G to H, what im trying to say is it takes a while to do anything that has to do with the internet, thats the 1st small issue, is there a fix for this?
the other issue is after rooting my phone, alot of games from the market force close and say there not compatible with the device or somethin like that...there has to be a fix for this, before rooting i was able to download any game and never had a problem, but now all the "big" games force close right away.
if anyone can help me with these issues please post, thank you all.
Data connections are a known issue on ics roms
As for games have you changed your density settings?
