The NexusBeam ROM is based on stock ICS 4.0.3. This is the same update that has been pulled by Google for issues regarding WiFi, CPU spikes and massive battery usage.
I wouldn't worry about your battery - it is most likely connected to the problems that people are experiencing with stock ICS 4.0.3.
Hope this helps.

Whoa, I would try the following things.
1. UV a little more
2. Change governor and maybe increase min clock speed
3. Disable deep idle
4. Change rom
If none of those work, lemme know.
I am not kidding with #4. That does help a lot
So yeah , try Pete's rom haha

This might seem stupid, but is your phone new? Did this happen after you upgraded to ics? 4 hours is kind of short. Your battery might be dead. I've had that happen before.
But what are you doing on it?

Any Gingerbread rom with good battery yet?

Been waiting for a gingerbread rom without major battery drain for a while ... anything available yet that gives gingerbread and good battery life? I don't need to overclock.
A better question would be what gingerbread rom doesn't have good battery, and that would be the leaked rooted, all the other custom ones have been modified.

Omg you just mind-fuc#$ed me with that response. LOL. Explain that without the twists... which Gingerbread (if any) ROM for Inspire 4G has the best battery life? And how does it compare to stock rooted I'm running now?
They all have had good battery for me. Make sure you fully wipe, use a gingerbread radio and get rid of htc sense social crap and it will have great battery life.

I'll dig around for it. Any big issues with CoreDroid 5.1? I got the Gingerbread when it first came out and GPS didn't work, audio was bad bad bad, wifi was intermittent, has that all been resolved through maturation?
Also from my understanding cm7 has even better battery life since it is not running sense

That is up to you it is your phone. I have the gingerbread radio, for me it took about two days for the battery to stop randomly draining. The service for me is pretty good as well. Like any radio though try it out for a few days before flashing a new one.

There is NO best kernel, just like there is NO best ROM. People use different settings that can make their experience vastly different then yours!
I've said it before and I'll say it again... just flash and see! Try out a kernel for a week or two, flash another one! It takes 2 mins of your time and you get to form you own opinion from your own use.
Just my .02 anyway
I agree with NYYFan325. Everyone should try different ROMS and KERNELS to find the best combination for yourself. I am with this: ROM: Slim ICS 4.0; KERNEL: Matr1x v.22; Unlocked; Rooted; Ondemand~Noop; 100 - 1000 MHz; Deep Idle - ON and the result is this: Screenshot 1; Screenshot 2; Screenshot 3; Screenshot 4
Currently the best result for me gives Matr1x. The latest version is very stable and fast (v.22).
Just try a few KERNELS. There is a theme with collected KERNELS and ROMS.
I had the best screen on time with Ink-Cm9 kernel. Over 5 hours. Next time i got 4 and half hours.

You can flash Matr1x while remaining on a stock rooted ROM; you don't need a custom ROM.

Thank you, I'm rooting right now. I hope Matr1x fix the battery drain, because it's impossible to use the stock kernel...

I've installed the Matr1x kernel, doing a full charge. I do this procedure:
1 - Clear malvik cache
2 - Install kernel
3 - Data wipe
Anything else I should do?

Hi!
I'm trying Resurrection Remix Lite 0.1 by westcrip and daxmax http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=27559218&postcount=2 and AIR kernel 4.0.4 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1469842.
I was looking for a smooth and fast solution and this is the best rom I tried.
In the thread the developer (daxmax) says he prefers matr1x or INK kernels with this ROM but I found AIR very performant.
The ROM has JB font and animations.
Just try it!

Only for the 5113 so far. Should work on all though. The mobile data and voice stuff is there.
Use at your own risk, I am not responsible for what you do with this.
Install is just like CM10 install. Use JB Gapps. You can flash over CM10 but a full wipe is recommended for best results.
You can use the overclock kernel for CM10 with this.

I can confirm that the cmoc10 kernel is working. Oddly I had a hard time upping the max freq. ROM control performance section I just could not get the slider to move right, and the tablet would seem to hang momentarily. ROM toolbox would give me an app not responding. Cool thanks it's always fun to get a new rom. If anyone flashes this coming from CM10.2 official let me know how it went. Until my desire to flash comes along and I try it myself.
ROM link is down :/

This ROM is very smooth, nice work dev! Gonna go back to Jelly Beans though. I have found that CM10 is to basic for my needs.

How's it running? This thread got quiet quickly. That's either good or bad and it has me curious.

The ROM has been running great on the AT&T side, my friend has been running the d2vzw release and only had an issue with focal, like every other ROM right now.

That was like the one big thing that made me go back to TW based Roms was the camera volume thing. I got two little kids, gotta capture the moments. Thank you for reassuring me!! Really appreciate it Downloading now!!
Another question: I don't use bluetooth much at all but I DO use NFC to transfer pics I take with my phone to my tablet & my wife's phone. Does NFC function ok on this Rom?
