Hi!
I'm trying Resurrection Remix Lite 0.1 by westcrip and daxmax http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=27559218&postcount=2 and AIR kernel 4.0.4 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1469842.
I was looking for a smooth and fast solution and this is the best rom I tried.
In the thread the developer (daxmax) says he prefers matr1x or INK kernels with this ROM but I found AIR very performant.
The ROM has JB font and animations.
Just try it!

The NexusBeam ROM is based on stock ICS 4.0.3. This is the same update that has been pulled by Google for issues regarding WiFi, CPU spikes and massive battery usage.
I wouldn't worry about your battery - it is most likely connected to the problems that people are experiencing with stock ICS 4.0.3.
Hope this helps.

1. UV a little more
2. Change governor and maybe increase min clock speed
3. Disable deep idle
4. Change rom
If none of those work, lemme know.

Only for the 5113 so far. Should work on all though. The mobile data and voice stuff is there.
Use at your own risk, I am not responsible for what you do with this.
Install is just like CM10 install. Use JB Gapps. You can flash over CM10 but a full wipe is recommended for best results.
You can use the overclock kernel for CM10 with this.
Enjoy!

I can confirm that the cmoc10 kernel is working. Oddly I had a hard time upping the max freq. ROM control performance section I just could not get the slider to move right, and the tablet would seem to hang momentarily. ROM toolbox would give me an app not responding. I finally got it to work in ROM control performance

Newer build is up on his site! downloading now nice score what CPU clock are you using there?
Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 2
The cpu frequency is on the screen shot, 1512 MHZ. I forgot to mention that I used the latest Matr1X kernel with gpu overclock, and did the test right after a full recharge.

I am writing here because the thread for the Nexus 4 is closed by the Mod because unappreciative members who obviously don't want to blame themselves for the errors that they've experienced with the rom. It is beyond my comprehension on how they fail at installing. I am new to rooting and installing custom roms and I never gotten an error.
Plus, this is the only way to communicate with the developer because he is not accepting PM to thank him and reopen the the Nexus 4 thread.
To ATGAdmin: Please have your thread reopened for discussions there for the Nexus 4 users, thank you.

With all respect, it's probably best if you don't start discussing Nexus 4 issues here. While I'm sure we can understand you wanting to continue discussing the Nexus 4 ROM, it would really defeat the point of this being a Nexus 7 thread if people were to start discussing Nexus 4 issues here. Just my personal view anyway....

Why is this ROM "taking CyanogenMod to the next level?
CyanogenMod does not want to include many customizations like they did in cm7
But why not? We want to customize our phones!
This ROM adds more options and cherries to CyanogenMod, cherry picked from the CM gerrit, Google gerrit, AOKP gerrit, SGT7, TeamEOS, TeamBAKED, Slim ROM, root - box and ParanoidAndroid
Basically this is one big mixture of all the great ROMs out here!
Stock but still highly customizable the way we like it
Instructions:
Download all the needed files (ROM, Gapps)
Boot into recovery
Flash the ROM.zip
Flash Gapps
Boot without flashing a custom kernel (after you've setup everything you can safely install a custom kernel)
ROM:
ROMs can be found here:
XDA File Server
Gapps:
Slim gapps can be found here
Slim Gapps
Zowie93
Team douche
Team KANG
PAC-MAN
SGT7
TeamBAKED
TeamEOS
Slim ROM
Root - box
ParanoidAndroid
Pabx
nimrodity
Downloading now. Totally stoked. Thanks for giving the Android Community more and helping those with flashing addictions.

Flashed and running now. Feels good. The horizontal tabs in settings is new to me, interesting. What I really miss is Halo and PIE.

Is this file "grouper_domination_20130723.zip" exactly the same at XDA and owain.biz downloads? Can I use it on tilapia? I've flashed my N7 3G with this file yesterday but because of some crashes (i.e. while I was changing some options like brightness, etc. in system settings) I got back to CM 10.1.2. I wasn't sure if I can use this grouper on tilapia or not because there's no tilapia at owain.biz. I was really impressed of CM but I prefer stable roms, that's why I got back to "classic" CM
BTW I was flashing to CM from rooted stock 4.2.2.

no calendar sync
First let me say thanks for such rom. Battery life is cool. Using WLAN and UMTS since two days reading mails, and surfing, battery is still on 60%.
The only problem I notice is that my google calendar does not sync. Neither with calendar app, nor with google calendar or another app. Mail is ok, so connection to my google account should be working.
Any chance of 4.3 Domination coming?
