It's an Odexed JDQ39, so there is no need to flash gapps.
Sorry, I thought that would be obvious to most, so I didn't include it in the OP

Your ROM is the best, IMHO
I am loving your Nexalicious ROM for Nexus 4 and this is what I got for Antutu benchmark:

I am posting here because your thread for the Nexus 4 Nexalicious ROM is closed.
Your ROM is the best AOKP based ROM, very fast, smooth, and crisp.

Don't know what's going on here. I'm not sure he is back.
There is no d/l link and the op has not been update to his latest builds.

I am writing here because the thread for the Nexus 4 is closed by the Mod because unappreciative members who obviously don't want to blame themselves for the errors that they've experienced with the rom. It is beyond my comprehension on how they fail at installing. I am new to rooting and installing custom roms and I never gotten an error.
Plus, this is the only way to communicate with the developer because he is not accepting PM to thank him and reopen the the Nexus 4 thread.
To ATGAdmin: Please have your thread reopened for discussions there for the Nexus 4 users, thank you.

With all respect, it's probably best if you don't start discussing Nexus 4 issues here. While I'm sure we can understand you wanting to continue discussing the Nexus 4 ROM, it would really defeat the point of this being a Nexus 7 thread if people were to start discussing Nexus 4 issues here. Just my personal view anyway....

Very interested in ROM. I'm familiar with the AOKP roms for my phone. I see the circle battery, and notification bar features. Is the power button on notification on Nav bar in the works? Kill App with long hold on back softkey? DeOdexed?
I'm using the stock rom and wanting features like those you are offering. Tablet interface is low on my wanted list. Eye candy is nice but doesn't make a better experience in using the rom.
Great idea and great success!

Surprised a default OC was not mentioned in OP.
Gallery issue and solution
I wonder if other had the same issue as mine: no pictures in the gallery even if syncro was supposed to be on, cleaning cache etc etc didn't work either.
After a research I found the following: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=31105842&postcount=6
and now I have my pictures back. Possibly a problem with the gapps package?

Camera Bug
Hi, love the rom so far but i'm having some problems with the camera application. Did a clean install flashed gapps and went through setup, was installing my apps and then checked out the camera application. Switched to 720p and then when switching back it freezes and then sort of crashes. Will say cannot connect to camera afterward. Have to restart to fix.
Any help would be great.

Can you tell us what you're thinking of adding?
It always sucks settling on a ROM which then becomes bloated/themed in a future update.

Well currently, it's stock rooted AOSP, as you can tell. I've been thinking about what to do with this ROM, and depending on user preference and if people prefer the stock experience or not, I'll either add more to this or maintain a stock AOSP build and make another ROM with more features.
The point I'm trying to make is, speak up! Let me know what you do and don't like, and I'll take it into consideration.
Right now, I'll probably be adding a couple more things to enhance the experience, like a extended power menu with recovery and boot loader reboot options. Let me know what you think!

Running smoothly on m-kernel. Battery life is most important in my book, stock has always given me that so thanks for this. I think it would benefit from minor tweaks, ie WiFi single click toggle in quick settings, expanded reboot menu and init.d support, but I like it minimal.

So simply building a ROM from the sources is now "Original Android Development"?
Like some other 4.4 threads I do not really see "development" here as expected.
Maybe these threads should be moved to the usual development forum?

Might be because its early stage, they are getting the threads setup for development, for example, ParanoidAndroid has a thread with AOSP 4.4 started and getting ready for their version.

So deb seems to be working and all. I didn't flash PA happy because I forgot to read op.. Lol antutu seems to be on the low side. I'm just gonna reflash with the right gapps. Hopefully this fix my browser and syncing. Camera doesn't work sadly. Failed to connect. From my experience that usually has something to do with the binaries.

Listen dude....I am in no way, shape or form like some who are on here. I myself ask questions all the time and hate it when someone gives me a **** response for whatever the reason may be. But he was acting like its an official release and saying how it doesn't fix the touch screen WHICH then went on to say I would really consider an IPad mini. I have the N7 and know about the touch screen issue. There just isn't any need to say I consider the iPad mini based off of a ROM he flashed that isn't even made available for our device yet nor is it even close to an official build. That's why I said what I said. Nothing I said was because of his questions....but thanks for your concern man

To answer the question about inverting GApps. That can be accomplished through a theme such as the cobalt series or the evolution reborn theme. Both are free on the Play Store. I can find links if anyone wants them. Just seems an easier way rather than flashing a new GApps package.

The only other thing I could suggest would be setting the min CPU to 475. That seems to make quite a bit of difference for myself.

Battery life is great, performace is getting better as 4.4 has only be live for 2 mouths now... Free ram is 390 MB (on the newest build, not uploaded yet).... Thx for you feedback and great questions... Thx lj

Well said :good: CROMi-X as you said is much more mature and is on a much more solid base - although I am being tempted to dev a 4.4.2 based rom (out of boredom!) lol. Maybe I should pimp up CMB a bit

It still sounds like a great opportunity to me!!!!
So I hope this is the starting point of a "CMB meets CROMIX" thing! Really looking forward for this combo!:thumbup:

I am uploading a new OTA for our beloved 700's.... This on can be install as a stand alone or a OTA... Let me know if there is anything out of the ordinary.. We are working on the inviable text in users.. There are a few other things we are working on, so just let me know if there is anything that is not as it should be.... Thx lj

I would say for being a child this rom is coming alone nicely....I would as an outsider which I am not I would give it a 8 out of 10 for overall goodness.... If stability is what you want your in the right place... As you read in the dev forum sbdags is running it on a 4.2.1 kernel which much mean the rest of the rom is solid....That just my input!!!!!Thx for the question in the correct forum...As always thx lj

No go on cm11 5/9. Boots but crashed system ui nonstop. Didn't expect it to work on cm11 but thought I would give it a shot. Regardless thanks for an aosp kernel!

Funny, my phone has issues galore trying to boot with the Sense version of this kernel, but I am running the AOSP version on the latest M8 SlimKat release and everything seems to be just fine.
In upcoming releases would it be possible to incorporate Faux123 Sound files?
Edit: The kernel works just fine aside from the fact that it breaks WiFi.
Any updates on the Cyanogenmod version? Would love the same basic set of features as the Sense kernel. Swipe to wake would be amazing :]

Pretty much everything AOSP is universal for the M8 from what I've seen. Go check the non carrier specific M8 section for other kernels too

While this would be true if everyone used the same code base, they don't. Hence why my post on the first page of comments asking about a Cyanogenmod version (as the one posted here does not work with Cyanogenmod). He said he was working on a version that should support Cyanogenmod but then never posted it here. I was just looking for a status update.
I meant that the AOSP builds/kernels have been including all variants so looking in the other section could find you what you are looking for. I'm currently just pulling an apk from task650s AOKP that allows screen off gestures. There is a kernel that works with cm but I didn't have as good battery life as the stock cm kernel for me so far and haven't played with it much yet. Maybe looking into some other kernels would also help with this one.
