Oh i know that is available. But it's just that it has too many issues with it right now: Swype not working, FCs, Crackling sounds in audio, etc. So i wanted to flash a FW that is stable.
So i asked around a bit and found out that JPM is the most stable. But then i saw on samfirmware that they released XWJPF like 12 days back. And i haven't found anyone who has used it so far to get their input. So was just wondering which one to flash.
PS - never flashed a FW before, but been reading enough for the past two days to be comfortable enough to try it.
well i wud suggest u go for i5801 zhjpf......its the only rom which dont have the choppy call bug.

hi
i have used DDJP2 for a long time more than 2 weeks except for the swype not working(i dont use it so im OK) i have faced no problems at all as u have not flashed any rom till date id suggest u try flashing this vie kies and then decide what u want latter on
goodluck happy flashing
@haree
ok thanks...
Just to be clear you are not having the crackling sound bugs at all? Swype i can live without (there is a fix for that too though).
I can't upgrade via Kies coz the internet connection that i have blocks it. But i do have the one package tar file for DDJP2, so i can flash through odin.
But i have read that it is safer to flash without the bootloader, i.e., no chance of bricking it. So i was wondering if anyone has a build for JP2 with all individual files, that'd be great. Or if i can make it using the one package file someway, that'd be even better.
Oh and will flashing with ODIN delete my data or leave it intact??
hi
i dont understand ur internet problem
but if u want to flash via odin read the link given below in detail before attempting anything via odin off ur virus scan while using odin and log in as admin while using odin
Link : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=873645
yes their is the risk but i have flashed the same a few time in the last week
i had no problem but the risk is urs i dont know how to remove the boot & sbin sorry i cant help u their

hi
u have to be on DDJ6(ie original asia india 2.1) while flashing this or it wont work
assuming u are talking about DDJP2
I´ve flashed it yesterday and not perceived differences with JPM yet

just flash it man
the probablility of bricking is as low as burning yourself with a smoke
It didn't boot for me until I flashed JG6 eclair ROM first.
Can't see much difference to JPM.. except that It's missing finnish language. Has all of the slavic languages, though.

hi
we are really going off topic ill delete all the off topic once ur problem is solved
wipe data will not take more than a few mins the same screen will say wipe factory data finished or try pulling out ur batter putting it back(this worked for me once) in and then go to download mode and flash the original 2.1 again if successful then go back in to download mode and flash the 2.2
hope it helps

Flash eclair JG6 first, and then this one. Password is samfirmware.com
thanx all for helping ... finally got irritated ... flashed JG6 and then JPM ... working sweet ... JP2 can rot in hell ...

yesterday i tried to reset my counter so i went through the tutorial to unbrick the phone which also resets the counter.
i forgot to take the EFS backup and i just have a cwm backup of the phone right now.
The counter reset is done but now i am unable to make any calls. I checked the IMEI no and its a strange no. definately not mine..
what can i do now..?
1. Claim warranty saying that i woke up in the morning and saw my phone dead(bricked).
(I can brick/unbrick it easily) ???
2. any ways to make my phone up and running..???

And kindly take this advice seriously as it could get worse.

Stock are not so stock...
It seems that all the stock roms available for our HTC Pico are modded. They are not official. Most of the apps are buggy and some dont even work. The most irritating part is the loudspeaker which just turns on and never turns off! So irritating!
Zips are closest to stock as can be, Ruu's are stock roms, difference is that jaggy made those zips so returning back to stock is easyer, you can always use ruu, but downside is that you'll have to lock your bootloader, about the loudspeaker http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1812624&page=6 the second post here have loudspeaker fix, I'm not sure will it work with stock roms but it should.
I have managed to get a hold of the 1.17.110.1 RUU. Send me a pm and i will give you the link
so heres what happened ....last time when i flashed my stock firmare i ticked another option called nand erase ...i thought it would clear my internal storage but from what i came to know later is - 1) my phones vibration isnt responding 2)my phones network crashes anytime without any reason
now the problem is i cant go to the service centres as my exams are going on so cant live without the phone so pls suggest how to revert everything back to normal
:crying: Thanks in advance :highfive:

Re-Partition your phone using ODIN option "Re-Partition" and the attached PIT file.
P.S. I'm not guaranteed it will fix your phone, nor it won't brick it.

Hey guys,
I have a rooted J700F with
Knox Warranty Void : 1
can i safely install the stock rom with the use of odin from sammobile?
or is my device gonna brick?
Guys please tell me as this is literally my last phone(if i brick it)(then ill have to use a landline) as i have bricked many phones. and my dad is telling me that he s not gonna give me any more money for all this rooting crap.
stock rom flashing
Yes u can safely flash the stock rom via odin.....if u dont know the process then u can tell me...i ll explain it to u....and if u want i can give u the link of the stock rom......
Thanks for your reply i do know the process (i guess) but i'd like if you explain it to me once again as i don't wanna take any risk!
Thanks in advance!!
I am running J700F on the indian stock rom
First u have to download the stock rom from sammobile.com.....then u have to put the phone into dowload mode.....then connect the phone via usb cable to the pc......u ll get a message that the phone has been added.....then click the ap button on odin and browse to the folder where u have kept the stock rom......that should be the md5 cheksum file.....then wait for some time.....then press the start button....u ll see that nand write will start......congratulations. ....u have finished the process and u are back to the stock rom....i have already done this process for 15 times.....when my phone got stuck into the boot logo.....its a very easy process.... ok.....best of luck....
after flashing will it still show
Knox Warranty Void :1??
Yes....the knox will not work anymore....
Dont use sammobile there is an easier way. Search xda for extracting roms from samsung kies or smartswitch
