But until then my transformer manifests battery drain again, the same type of problem it had a couple of weeks ago before the original update that fixed it;
Thanks CPUspy, i noticed that my tablet doesn't go in "deep sleep" mode, instead it remains most of the time in "216 MHz" mode, even in stand-by.
the build number is HTK75.WW_epad-8.6.6.19-20111101
Anyone can help me?

same problem here...even without being rooted! arrrrgghhhh, i was so lucky when the latest update came and i thought battery drain is over...seems my happyness was to early

[Q] No Deep Sleep on CPUSPY

Hi
I wonder if someone can help me.
After the recent firmware update cpuspy was showing that my Transformer would go into Deep Sleep for 90%+. Was obviously happy with that
I got prompted that 12 of my apps had updates so updated them. Thought that would be OK as I was having no problems with them at that point.
However, it never goes into deep sleep now and the lowest it goes is 216MHz. The battery drain when I'm not using it is therefore greater. 2% overnight on standby is now 15%. Not OK
I had taken a back up using App Backup so thought I would use the (only) one I had before the recent updates. The problem is that I have not restored before and have forgotten the password I used. :Muppet: Anyone got any ideas how I can roll back the recent updates and try them one by one to find the culprit. Or any other solutions of course.
Thanks in advance

I had a fully charged Transformer and dock this afternoon and now the dock is dead and the tablet is at 3%. So I saw this thread and downloaded CPUSPY and what do you know, 60% of the time it's at 216mhz, 23% it's running at 1500mhz and deep sleep is only 11%.
Anyone know how to fix this? My dock is a B70 model and pressing keys while putting it on standby doesn't wake it up so I don't think this is a dock battery drain issue is it?
BTW: Running Prime 2.1.1 and roach2010 kernel.
Viffer, does your touchpad wake your tablet? Mine does. The keyboard doesnt but the touchpad does and it may be related to why it won't go into deep sleep.

[Q] mz601 battery drain

Hi everybody,
I bought a 3G MZ601 zoom about 6 months ago and everything was fine with it. After a few months, i put Eos stingray and wingray on it to try ICS. They worked fine except for the battery life which drained at about 3% an hour even with everything (wifi etc) turned off.
When Eos everest came out, I put that rom on it and have since been updating it with the nightly updates, but the battery problem still exists.
I returned the xoom back to stock a few days ago, but the drain is still here, even with everything (wifi etc) turned off.
Has anyone had the same issues as me, or does anyone know how I stuffed up the battery life on my xoom?
thanks for your consideration
Experiencing similar issue here on MZ601 ics 4.0.3 battery drains realy quick!
What i noticed was that on android 3.2 system was taking about 6 % of battery now on ics it takes 22% its a lot...
so no one has any ideas?
could it be that its just a dodgy battery?
hi,
i don't think it's a dodgy battery as I'm experiencing the same issue on my currently rooted MZ601 - on EOS nightly 58 at the moment...
cheers.

Battery going dead when suspended...

My new TF700 battery drain seems huge when suspended. I fully charged the battery for a test. It showed 100%. I then hit the power button to suspend. 6 hours later I check and it is already down 13% At this rate it will loose 50% in 24 hours just sitting suspended. Is this normal? I'm new to tablets and Android. But a friend of mine has a Samsung and his battery hardly drops at all when suspended. Thanks for your input.
Noticed this also. It started after the update with the .26 firmware...

We obviously need more info to say something sensible about this, since your install is not the same as mine (apps and services running in the background, etc.). Install BetterBatteryStats and analyze what's going on, then report back in.
Furthermore, 2% battery drain per hour doesn't seem that extraordinary to me, but then I might be wrong. My SGS2 drains 2% per hour on stock ROM/kernel, and my wife's LG Optimus 2x in the same conditions pulls 4%/hour. Granted, I do 0.25%/hour currently (on a custom ROM), and hers is running CM7 ('nuff said, since that just goes on and on and on and on... ), so it definitely could be better, but running stock, I'm not that surprised. Have you got syncing disabled? WiFi running? Exchange in the background?

I just checked mine after 15 hours asleep on the couch, and it was down to 93%. That's similar to the TF201 and TF101 I had before, though it may be a little better. As otherwise mentioned, the drain also depends on what you have installed and running.
If you're using a live wallpaper, turn it off. Those are a huge battery drain (for no significant gain, in my opinion).
Then check all of your widgets to see how often they are updating, I suspect some of them are pulling more often than they should.

[Q] TF700 Crombi-kk not sleeping

I installed Cromi-X in hope that it will fix the sleep problem, but alas, same old.
I'll be trying a newer version, but would like some input on what could be the problem.
Currently I'm on Crombi-k
kernel -3.1.10-that10+
Without sleep the tablet is unusable, the battery has already shat itself after all the discharging.
Please help!
You gotta look at what you have installed. Use Wakelock Detector and/or Gsam Battery Monitor to examine your setup.
Just yesterday I woke my TF700 on the latest CROMBi-KK from sleep after at least a week of not using it (it was not shut down but WiFi was off) and I had 90% of battery left.... Couldn't believe it...

It's a kernel bug introduced in the last Asus update.
It won't sleep if it is attached to the dock, simple as that.
Since the update I've been using is as an expensive paperweight.
I tired Crombi in hopes it would fix it, but alas no hope.
it didn't affect everyone but a lot of people had their tablets crapped.

MT7-TL10 Battery Problems

Hi,
I owned a Huawei Ascend Mate 7 Gold 9 months ago, and I was very happy because I could use the phone for more than 2 days withouth charging. But recently, the battery started to drain VERY FAST .
For instance, if I go to sleep with the phone at 100%, when I wake up (8h later) , the battery is at 70% or less. With my investigation, I tried/found that:
-The problem is not caused by deep sleep mode, or at least "CPU Spy" shows that the phone is able to do it.
-I tried wipe (factory reset/partition/cache) with no results.
-I calibrated the battery but the problem persists, also I tried charging with 1A charger.
-"GSam Battery Monitor - Root" shows that 47% of the battery goes to "Android System" and another 20% goes to "Kernel (Android OS)".
The issue started at the last week, and the first thing I did was updating Lolipop (I was using it for more than 4 months) to Marshmallow 6.0 (B561). I don't know what do to now, ATM I'm underclocking the CPU, but that's a temporally solution. I always take the battery with a lot of care, I don't know why is happening this.
If someone could help me, I will be very thankfull .

same here
i have exactly the same situation with u and couldn't find a solution yet.
battery issues too
what firmware you running? I have an EU version of the phone, updated to 5.1.1 and it was dying fast. I then updated to 6.0 Malaysian rom from their website and it started to do the 2 day life. However the phone seems to just freeze and sometimes just switch off, so I am thinking of downgrading and then see if its the software or its a hardware failure. I have warranty
I couldn't find any solution yet, so I'm going to downgrage to the 4.X. I don't see benefits from Marshmallow update, also I can't hide the taskbar, so...
Actually I think I'm using CH version B561.
Edit: Fine, I can't find a downgrage pack for my version.
