When I use Application Deployment in Windows Phone SDK 7.1 to install a XAP to my device (a Samsung focus i917), I got the error message:
"Error - Failed to connect to device as it is pin locked."
Can I use Chevron to unlock my device?
it means you need to swipe up the lock screen and enter your password (pin)
you can't deploy apps when the screen is locked
you will also need to unlock your phone (if you haven't done so) using a developer account, or chevron's wp labs

Well I am connected to PC, Zune open and lock screen unlocked, phone is unlocked as I sideloaded Screncapture V3 Via Deploy.

Tom's XAP Installer, 1.2, isn't working for me either. I even went through the ChevronWP7Labls unlock again and still get the same error.

I had the same issue.
After chevronlab unlock,
connect phone to zune,
once phone is detected in zune and synced
unlock the screen and install the xap file then you wont get error.
Phone is locked or phone is pin locked means phone screen is locked.. just need to unlock screen

For some reason I'm getting an invalid URL. Might be a copy paste and edit fail on my part though. Did you grab the drivers for android sdk, download adb and try the fast boot method? A google search for Nexus S fastboot OEM unlock should help. I'm on my phone and have the links saved on my PC sadly

Hi guys! I am trying to unlock my bootloader from my Redmi 6. I've enabled developer mode, USB debugging and the option to unlock the bootloader. When I enter Fastboot and I try to unlock it with the Unlock tool, I am getting the message that I have to add my device to my account under Developer Options -> Mi Unlock Status. I already tried that a million times. When I press the "Add account and device" (after approving the permissions request of course), the button greys out and after a few minutes it will show the message "Request parameter error".
I also checked the devices under my Mi account, but my phone isn't present in Devices section. I am out of options, who can help?
It's running MIUI Global 11.0.4 and Android 9. Hope someone knows what's going wrong. Thanks!

So my dad passed away, he had a Samsung J4+ with a pattern.
I like to remove that without losing data.
My dad never switched off OEM unlocking and enabled USB Debugging.
If i try to flash TWRP via bootloader or adb or Odin it gives a error. (the standard errors like its blocked by FRP etc)
Is there anyway to bypass the pattern, paid or free?
This can be closed, we gave up.
