Restart your computer and then pull the battery out of your phone and put it back in. Now on your computer open Odin and then hold vol+ and vol- and plug in the USB cord this will put you in downlaod mode. And use Odin to get you back to a stock rom
Currently Fusionized

doesnt work either cause my phone isnt recognized by the computer at all so ANYTHING usb based doesnt work and i cant get into recovery so that doesnt work either, i mean i have to be doing something wrong right? the phone cant be dead

Heimdall uses it's own driver so Jake you install that and uninstall all the others, SO that may help with the recognition issue, as the stock closed source driver can be a douche sometimes...like in your case.

I've seen that error code 43 on my machine when there's a larger USB issue. Usually two things will correct that - a reboot and switching USB ports.
I would also suggest (if you haven't already) uninstalling all of the drivers you have installed - Samsung- or Heimdall-related, then reboot, then do the Heimdall again.

either both my desktop and laptop have something wrong with them or its a user error, thats why i want someone else to help me through team viewer, this thread is moving to slow for me to get anything done

I'll ask the obvious question, just to make sure - Have you tried a different cable?

yup yup that i have done

Ok, I took a quick look at the videos in the OP. Two things I noticed:
- You have the phone plugged in prior to putting it into download mode. It's possible you're just keeping the plug in after putting it there (couldn't see in the video). Try putting the phone in download mode, unhook the cable, then rebooting the computer (leave the phone in DL mode), then hook it up again.
- I saw that you have an ICS build. Do any button combinations get you to recovery (V+/V-/Power, V+/Power)? If so, you might be able to flash another rom.
- You may also want to look for AdamOutler's One-click Unbrick. That might be of some use in your situation.

Ok, I looked a little more at the one click unbrick, and since you can get to download mode, it doesn't look like the right solution. So.. nevermind that one.
As far as removing the drivers, it's something of a two-step process.
Step one is to plug the phone in, let Windows see it (even if incorrectly), and then go to device manager. From there, find the phone, and uninstall it/remove drivers. Then unplug the phone.
Step two is to go to "Programs and Features" and remove any android/samsung drivers that show up there.
Once you've done that, check to make sure any folders that drivers would have been unpacked into (mine is in C:\usb_driver) has all the Samsung or Heimdall drivers removed (BE CAREFUL WHILE DOING THIS - ONLY REMOVE SAMSUNG/HEIMDALL DRIVERS IF YOU'RE 100% CERTAIN).
Then, reboot the computer, re-run Heimdall to get zadig.exe to do its thing, then connect the phone.
Also, have you considered dual-booting (or using a USB live drive) of Ubuntu? Heimdall seems to be a little happier in Linux, but you'll just need to make sure that Java installs with it.
There's also a really slim chance that if you hook the phone up in download mode, ADB might detect it enough to where you can give the "adb reboot recovery" command.

Charge won't connect to computer

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers several times and I have made sure my computer is set to automatically download drives for new devices. But despite all this I can not get my computer to recognize my Droid Charge. Every time my computer tries to instal the drivers for the phone it either stops with out doing any thing or it ends with an error. It keeps saying that the device has malfunctioned and Windows can't recognize it.
I'm also getting a code 10 error - Windows says the device cannot start
Try the basic troubleshooting methods..
Try different cables, Try different computers/laptop, Try different drivers (i realized i had the wrong drivers the whole time)
Eliminate possible causes of the problem.

I tried two different cables and three different USB ports and two different drivers and none of that helped.
I don't know what the problem was but it finally fixed itself. I booted into download mode and inserted the USB cable for about the 9000th time and it suddenly started working again.
No it started doing the same thing this morning. I tried connecting my Captivate & it's doing the same thing but my mp3 player connects fine. I think I might reinstall Windows and see if that fixes the problem.
I think you can only use the OEM USB to Odin the phone. I would also suggest using a USB port that is in the back of the computer. Make sure it's one of the motherboard mounted ones. Not an add on USB.
Also make sure the phone is in USB debugging mode. [settings/applications/development--usb debugging]
Also try installing the drivers as admin.
Sometimes virus scanner might interfere with software operation. Although I've never had to do this, try temporarily disabling it when trying to install drivers. Also when running Odin.
But what about download mode? Does Odin see it on a com port if you connect it?
Besides drivers did you install everything like the samsung utility? Did you check in device manager of windows to see if an error there appears and maybe a fix? Ive heard someone else post about this. Did you disable usb debug on the phone and make sure mass storage is set?
Instead of doing your computer it would be easier to do a factory reset on your phone or revert back to stock in recovery.

OK and one last thing to try as it is easier than re installing windows. Wipe cache and dalvik, fix permissions. re start.
I have used different cables besides the samsung and it worked. Also my phone isnt working all of a sudden. In cwm I went and mounted system . wiped all cache, fixed permission. Re started and it worked.
LOL after typing all this I see it does it for all devices. Could you try and restore windows to a previous date that worked then re install the drivers and see if it works?

It was just working a few days ago and I was using a different cable.
I tried using one of the back USB ports and it worked once & then when I tried it again it had quit working again.
The phone's in USB debugging mode.
I install everything in administrator mode
I'm running without a virus scan app right now (Yeah I know I know...)
I was using Bit Defender but the piece of garbage deleted a few files that were completely harmless like one of the files to root the Epic 4G.
The one really strange thing is that every time I plug the phone into the computer it has to look for ,download ,and reinstall the drivers for the phone and most of the time it fails with an error. I'm not sure why it's doing this but I really think that's where the problem is. If I unplug my printer or scanner Windows doesn't have to reinstall the drivers for them when I plug them back in.
My Cowon mp3 player works perfectly fine using the same ports so the ports are working...

Nope it isn't seen in download mode either

Haven't tried that yet

There's an exclamation mark in the device manager. I've tried telling it to update the drivers from there but Windows keeps telling me that the best driver is already installed
Ive heard someone else post about this. Did you disable usb debug on the phone and make sure mass storage is set?
I've tried disabling and re-enabling USB debugging more times than I can remember

I would rather not. That would delete some of the apps I just installed. If I'm gonna have to reinstall them any way I'd might as well just reinstall Windows. Also I might revert to a time when I still had Bit Defender installed and I would rather reinstall Windows than deal with that over paranoid crapware

Tried wiping dalvic cache battery stats & fixed permissions and it still isn't working. I tried uninstalling it in device manager and scanned for hardware changes and it still comes up as an "unknown device"
The only thing that happened was that Microsoft offered to install the software for my mouse that I had never bothered to install.
I'm really thinking that there is some kind of problem with my Windows installation.Something has become corrupted or broken.
I don't usually use Windows update and I have been using it extensively this go-round. Maybe Windows Update broke something (Wouldn't be the first time!).
Ok one last idea and might be crazy. Didnt see if you tried it or not. Cant hurt but do phone as factory reset of the phone and wipe the cache. Could something be installed on the phone that makes it not be recognized for some reason? Really just throwing stuff out there as it is easier than installing windows again.
That or like you said virus scanner or something is screwing with your computer.

Nah didn't work. Looks like I get to reinstall Windows. I hope that fixes whatever it is cause I am fresh out of ideas.
Yeah all out of ideas. Atleast everybody tried.
This is almost related. I spent ten days trying to figure out how to make the AllShare app work. I finally got it done, but I tinkered with my computer so much that when I finished, I could no longer restore to a previous version.
I had never used that feature on this computer, but I figured that I could undo all the crap I did and start over from the day I started tinkering if I restored to the day I started. Every restore point failed!
I went to this forum and asked why restore did not work.
http://www.sevenforums.com/
I was ready, like you, to re-install Windows, but someone walked me through how to get it working correctly. I thought the phone was complicated, but Windows 7 leaves the phone in the dust when it comes to complicated.
Maybe if you go on there and post a thread about a device not being recognized you will get some help. Tons of good tutorials there too.

Not trying to be rude or mean...but either your USB cord/port isn't working or you are doing something wrong, your phone is in download mode so its saveable

If Hemidial doesnt work for you try Odin. I have read that people have trouble with one but the other works. I myself use Odin. I had to go back to stock from CM10 so I am sure that the odin back to GB works. I used this guide with the second package. (GB with root). give this a try.

Not necessarily. I remember the first I time used a one click it gave me grief installing the drivers. If I remember I launched it, it wanted to install the drivers, it didn't do anything after it was done, so I closed the window that popped up to install the drivers, then unplugged and replugged my phone to the computer and clicked the button. It worked fine then.

There are a couple of things to point out:
Get Kies off your computer - it is a source of problems. Also means delete from recycle bin if there.
Download the Infuse drivers from bigjoe's ISET here: http://d-h.st/sKF
Thanks to bigjoe for an amazing page of resources !!
Be sure you have the latest version of Java here: http://www.java.com/en/download/index.jsp
Follow qkster's instructions he provides here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1629079
Big thanks to qkster for doing this - saved many phones for countless number of users !! Me alone over a million times and counting
You asked about a video- no academy award nomination, but can be helpful : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sHyY7WHx4zc
Video is returning to Gingerbread, same process for Froyo.
You are willing to learn - therefore there will be many who are willing to help.
Take your time- do it right once and it will be easy next time !!

If you can still go into download mode, all is not lost
Try the AT&T unbrick using he following mirror page:

Silly question...are you in Download Mode now? Easy way to achieve is to pull and reinsert battery, then hold down both volume buttons while plugging in the USB cable.
If you are there and no COM port connection, then are you using a different USB port (or PC) since last time? It is said that Download Mode does not like USB 3.0.
Hope this helps.

No sir phone it is not getting in download mode.
Like I said last night it was going into download mode today it is not.
Some hardware is detected but com port is not being detected. No samsung port in device manager.
I think the bootloader is corrupted. As I said I opened the PDA file in bootloader section and then very very stupidly pressed the start button.
It flashed 17 percent and then stopped. I then again even more stupidly (like it is even possible to be this much if an idiot, but evidently I am) disconnected pulled the battery out and tried to get into download mode.
It did screen was messed up showing rainbows but Odin detected the phone.
Then I made this post after the first reply I tried to go into download mode so something is detected but not the com port.
So I think it is safe to say that the bootloader is corrupted. Now is there a way to repair the bootloader without the ort jag?
Thank you very much for your answer and your time.

Download mode is supposed to be independent of the bootloader, so if you still cannot get into Download Mode, you should luck out with a jig.

Wait you mean even if I have messed up the bootloader I can still get into download mode. Wow this is great news. Thank you very much.
Can you please tell me if I can create this jig thingie, do you know a guide because I am pretty sure I am never going to find one here in my country.
Thank you very much for your help
I have seen some videos looks pretty simple just put a 300 k ohm resistor between the 4th and 5th leg.
I will try and make the jig and post the result tomorrow.
@joel.maxuel thank you very much for your time.

Hello sir, if I am able to get into download mode will flashing the Phone and PDA files from your package be enough or do I need to find the bootloader too from somewhere?

The Unbrick package rescues half-trashed bootloaders (among other things) from what I read in other parts of the forum, so you should be fine. You may, however, need to flash a back to root package (my mirror has option C, albeit in an extracted mess) in order to get system working properly again. When I had my Infuse, it was the Rogers version, so I could never use the AT&T packages (so I never knew first-hand the difference between the unbrick and back-to-stock).
Can cross that bridge when you come to it. Hope this helps.
Okay I am having trouble making a jig. I could not find a proper 301 k resistor to I stiched 3 100k resistors. Somehow it is not working. Maybe the USB connector us faulty. It had four connectors on the main side and 1 on the other.
I will change the USB connector and try again.
Thank you very very much

Hmmm, that should work... 301K is pretty specific but there are a lot of variance with resistors, and unless the variance is being amplified by daisy-chaining three 100K's, there shouldn't be a problem. If you have a multimeter, you should check the resistance readout to see if it is off by much.
If not, then it comes back to my original theory. Jacked bootloaders can be modified/restored via ODIN or Heimdall, although the problem screen you have (in the end, a really jacked bootloader) isn't the same as what I was going on (which was the wrong, partially functioning bootloader).
I thought the Download/Odin mode was called off at the Modem level (before the bootloader), but I may be wrong. If so (that is, if your jig does not work), you may need a JTAG service after all.
Sorry for any wasted effort.
I could not find a 5 pin USB connector, I tore apart at least 7 USB cables and all of them ONLY had 4 pins.
I think I am going to have to tear apart the original cable of my S3 and I really really don't want to do that.
I will post the final results on Friday evening
Okay I found a 5 pin connector and made a jig but it did not work. Looks like I a going to have to pay for a jtag service.
Thank you again for all your help
Fixed my Phone
All right I have finally fixed it. The problem was I had some newer or I don't know older driver versions installed. I installed i997 Kies mini and installed the driver that came with that software.
And as soon as I connected the phone while pressing Vol Up + Vol Down computer detected it and odin detected it too. Then I installed your provided firmware.
It is okay now. It is working, there is a rainbow effect every time I turn it on but that is okay. Only recovery is not working. I can't go into recovery.
Everything else is working fine. Thank you very much for all your help.

[REQ] Unihertz Titan Stuck in Bootloop

Okay here's where all this started https://www.facebook.com/groups/130...61465&ref=notif&notif_t=group_comment_mention
Windows and Android Drivers are always a bothersome attempt at trying to get to work properly. Always with a hiccup.
I formated a new laptop with Windows 7 64 Bit Sp1
It still acts as though I don't have a bootloader, recovery menu or chinese mediatek diagnostics menu.
Phone is just constantly looping off and on, in SP Flash Tool it'll timeout. I let the battery drain yesterday and did get a full battery and the green circle.
Me and Nomi (the developer of the rom) tried everything yesterday and he even said he hasn't seen anything like it before, but had driver issues before too.
I'd believe it's still got USB Debugging and looks to still be OEM Bootloader Unlocked as I have the text on the bootscreen.
Just trying to think of anything else I can do, as unihertz hasn't answered my email since yesterday afternoon at 2.
But this seems to be a common problem as you'll see in this reddit:

Are you needing help or you solved the bootloop?
I'll find out when I get home from work this morning Unihertz did finally reply to my email at 3am
I'm going to try in both Ubuntu and Windows as they have me tute's and files for both.
On that and the windows note can anyone recommend which driver version works best doesn't matter if it's 7 or 10, so long as it's 64Bit supported.

Obviusly you only need flash stock recovery.img as your device has A9.
For Custom Recovery like TWRP maybe I can ask my friend to help you. If - you still TWRP want?!
Where's the link for that I'll try and see as even with a reply from Unihertz and new files I'm still running into the same error. Where constant looping and when plugged in attempting to flash the factory firmware it times out with a red Download DA bar loading at 100% in seconds and then two minutes later timing out and giving me error code 0xXC0010005.
RN I don't think it'd be possible to get it to stay in bootloader or on long enough to fully do the ADB or Powershell twrp.img flash, interestingly enough I did find MTK Droid Tools v2.5.3B has a rewrite boot and recovery option and askes for the img before proceeding and I didn't do anything else after that though cause it wants a .prm as for a scatter file. Oh and it has ADB builtin to the program.

Search in the internet How install MTK drivers, specially in the Win7. Better in Win10 and if you as that so the drivers [link] is much better, You can try installing that file but need reboot your computer. After try flash with SPFT.
Don't choose FORMAT+ALL or any option with FORMAT+........
Win7 need more effort to start drivers for Mediatek devices!
You can try pressing constantly the VOL - button when put USB for SPFT work.
The issue I keep running into here is no matter how charged the battery is, it won't stay power up long enough to even attempt to correctly install the drivers. (I think at least, still don't ever see a unknown device in other devices), if I could get that far I'd probably stand a chance of recovering it.

We often don't realize that certain errors are normal on our machine. So the question is to test in others computers.
But there are possibilities of company blocks or even something that has happened on the phone without it really should happen.
Some interesting cases:
1- I noticed with the image you showed about trying to flash all the firmware.
** So even if you have tried the Download only or Firmware Upgrade options, the question remains if you tried to flash only the recovery.img file? Obviously you can have the same error in SPFT?!
2- Cases of hardware vs software that match the use and characteristics found such as restarting the PC and trying to flash in a different USB port. Same problem?!: Drivers are resolved?!
The biggest case of suggesting something or thinking that this or that is a problem wastes precious time. Confirm the main steps!:
1- Driver correctly installed and working;
2- Driver works: Different USB PORT tested;
3- SPFT version must be tested. Mainly previous versions to confirm the error message that persists or may disappear;
4- Phone particularities: pressing the VOL buttons for a while can trigger the preloader that is responsible for the connection between the SPFT and your phone on the computer. Switching to VOL+ or Power or VOL- with VOL+ or VOL+ VOL - and Power may solve or confirm the non-solution.
Best way: Win10 with driver updates. Find the way to disable unsigned driver installations. But you can use this driver and you must restart your computer for it to take effect.
Make sure the USB port has a speed feature for the flashing process. Example: All USB ports are 2.0 only and SPFT asks for a USB 3.0 port to make the connection.
With everything confirmed the rest is something to question in relation to having the correct firmware file or the device itself having blocked the installation process due to a drastic change in the preloader or something that has changed and is blocking it.
Look previous posts about that so all depends on what you have and how you use it.
Unfortunately everyone (including me) who went through bad times like the one you have now, has a headache because it's a simple process and doesn't know what to do. But on the other hand, it's a huge learning experience when we solve it.
But there is still a choice without a headache: take it to a technical assistance and pay for it!
No on drivers when it goes to do the typical windows installation with the installation boxes in the upper left corner, I keep getting red x's.
I'm letting it charge some more and tomorrow trying again on my windows 7 laptop, as I think I'm also getting hung up on disabling driver signatures on windows 10 laptop. IDK if it's cause I'm dual booting JingOS 0.9 and that cancels out F7 or what the hang up is on that part.
In all honesty I think you'll end up finding that the only way to recover it is by removing and reprogramming the nand in a proper programmer.

Would that also be done in SP Flash Tool or another software? I've also got these MTK tools.
Okay a little bit of progress and interesting discovery of errors...
Upon extracting a rom from wherever in zip format, in at least 7zip it gets as far as boot.img and then has an error extracting that.
I discovered this by finding Miracle Flash Tool and clicked on Android tab, loaded the scatter file and it took and accepted it and then said boot.img missing please load and pulled up a selection window.
IDK SP Flash Tool never said that. I got drivers to work once and then rebooted now can't get them to work again keeps saying unrecognized usb device. At least it's a bit of progress.

If you have more drivers for others phones like samsumg, motorola, lg, etc so remove that's and reboot computer. Install again MTK Drivers, UAC permissions and reboot computer. Test SPFT.
But here a good video to see and may be can fix - confirm driver issue in Win7:

Idk if im doing something wrong but nothing happens
Ok, so if the MSM tool never shows any indication that it has seen the phone in EDL mode, doesn't start the flashing, etc, but you hear the computer noise when you plug it in, you should investigate your drivers.
Open up the Device Manager and then plug the phone up in EDL mode. EDL mode is achieved by holding both volume buttons while plugging in the phone. Look in the device manager and see what comes up. Somewhere around here are the correct drivers. Look at all of the unbrick / msm threads and one of them will have a driver download for you.
It sounds like a brick, and you are only getting into EDL mode, the mode used to flash back to stock with the MSM tool. So. Drivers. Check them out, and get that sorted and I believe you will be able to revive it.

I still feel like this is possibly an issue with drivers / USB ports etc. Don't worry about other peoples phones, theirs is working. You are working on one thing and one thing only. The connection between YOUR phone and the computer. Have the device manager open ALL the time. Hook up the phone and whatever pops up, click it, hit the delete button on the keyboard, check the box to delete the driver. Download the drivers I linked, and unzip them and run the file. Hook up the phone again to a different USB port. See what comes up. It will most likely be the correct driver, if you followed the steps correctly. Run the MSM tool again and click the start button. If it drops the connection before you hit start, unhook it, hit start again, and hook it back up in EDL to a different USB port. Just gotta keep playing with it man. Mines weird too. I have to use one port for fastboot stuff, and one port for EDL stuff, and sometimes they aren't the same port it was previously. These are temperamental phones. Stay strong, be focused, use your training, we believe in you.

Dude the TMobile msm is absolute dog**** and when I bricked my phone using the same guide he did I had to use the India OnePlus 9 pro msm tool as it was the only msm that worked so no it's not a problem with USB ports or drivers I had literally the same exact error and I ****ed my phone the same exact way so while there may be a extremely small chance that this fixes it it's still extremely unlikely that it will fix it

Kinda makes sense since the service is too. Thanks for the clarification, that the conversion guide does weird **** sometimes that makes the regular MSM not work?
I'm lucky to have the NA model which isn't as much dog ****, or just a smaller dog anyways. Seems the carrier variants suck more.
