Error: The program you have installed may not display properly because..

Hello Guys,
Has anyone of you encountered this error message? "The program you have installed may not display properly because it was designed for a previous version of Windows mobile software".
I encountered this problem when i downgraded my rom from Master Efsane's WM6.5 to 2003se..Before that, the hima doc tool of Masther Ather doesn't work so i tried the other hima doc tools on this site..anyway, i tried flashing my himalaya with different roms but i keep on getting this error message. Right now i couldn't use some applications that are previously working with wm6.5. I already tried to flash different EXTroms but it didn't resolve the issue..this is very frustrating..please advise..

Don't worry. It's just a warning because the developer of the program have design it for a previous version of windows. All the programs that gave me that warning are working without problem .-

Actually, it has nothing to do with the program itself but a version number listed in the CAB file - it's pretty much completely irrelevant, though.

The problem is, i could no longer use the applications that i could previously use on WM6.5...it only happened after downgrading to 2003..don't you guys find it weird???

Any suggestions peeps???

WM6.5 problem installing cabs

Hi everybody!
I'm brandnew on this forum, I didn't find anything on this topic....
I just bought an HTC snap and I'm having quite a big problem. Before doing anything I installed the update from WM6.1 to WM6.5 from the HTC homepage...it worked perfectly. After that I installed some other softwares like skype with the exe file, no issues at all and the programs are running good. Then I tried to install some softwares with the cab files; some of them couldn't be installed at all (Resco explorer). With some other softwares the installation could run until the end but with no errors but then if I started the program I got following error (for example for Galarm):
"An unexpected error has occurred in GAlarm.exe"
If you go to details you get this description of the error:
at Microsoft.AGL.Common.MISC.HandleAr()
at Microsoft.WindowsCE.Forms.InputPanel..ctor()
at ay.b4()
at ay..ctor()
at cy.a()
The same error for all program installed with cab files.
It would be great if somebody could help me!!

[Q] Sideload Wonder Machine; Unhandled exception has occurred in your application.

I am trying to use SWM to install the DroidXIME-nonroot.apk on an HTC Aria using Windows XP.
When I choose the file I get the ready to install screen but when I push ok I get the following error:
Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continure, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately.
Could not find a part of the path [my chosen path]
When I click continue I'm brought to the home SWM page but am unable to click Go.
I read that this is because I need the MDAC program for Windows. However, I was told I am unable to install the download because of my version of windows. I then read that I needed to overcome this problem by doing a windows service pack update; which I did. However, I am getting the same problem and am beyond frustrated.
Can someone help me please????

[Q] Mango samsung focus - update.bat error URI

Hi everyone. i have read everything and having trouble.
after installing
WPSupportTool-x86.msi (32 bit) successfuly
trying to run update.bat either in adminstrator or via the command prompt in dos i still keep getting the URI error
Error: System.UriFormatException: INvalid URI: The format of the URI could not be determined.
at wm7update.Program.UpdateDevice(IDeviceInfo device infor, List '1 updates, update type )
at wm7update.program.main(string[] args>
The above error message is in red at the beginning. update. bat will let me back up to premango state but it has this error message at the top. when it runs zune i click phone update it says i have the current version 7.0 (7390)
Does anyone have any light to shed on this? if you know the answer please let me know. I am frustrated and new to wp7. I used to back in the day flash cabs all day long on HTC wizzard, 8525 exc... I am just stuck on this. I have tried to read and search forum but have not seen an answer to this specific question..

okay nevermind I am a Moron..
I was running the Update.bat from win rar got error
I copied the file in a folder and opened it dragged update.bat on desktop ran it in administrator 2nd fail (aka moron)
I extracted everything (like i should have instead of being a moron) in its own folder ran update.bat as admin and I am now 22% complete backing up phone with no errors.. will see if i get Mango running soon..

Waiting for VM "MEmu_15" to power on...

Starting up Memu console.exe and clicking play on any of my VM's MEmu_1 to MEmu_15 i get this error. i reinstalled the current version yesterday and it loaded perfectly. i really dont want to re import all my image files again, is there a way to fix this error?

still no replies huh. well ive decided to uninstall MEmu's current version and im reverting back to the old one.
im tired of all this ****ty error bull****, no other emulators require additional options to be enabled and drivers are always getting blocked "unassigned driver" plus the error i mentioned above.
think i might just give up completely and come back when you give a **** (fix your bull**** errors)
