[Q] Sideload Wonder Machine; Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. - General Questions and Answers

I am trying to use SWM to install the DroidXIME-nonroot.apk on an HTC Aria using Windows XP.
When I choose the file I get the ready to install screen but when I push ok I get the following error:
Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continure, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately.
Could not find a part of the path [my chosen path]
When I click continue I'm brought to the home SWM page but am unable to click Go.
I read that this is because I need the MDAC program for Windows. However, I was told I am unable to install the download because of my version of windows. I then read that I needed to overcome this problem by doing a windows service pack update; which I did. However, I am getting the same problem and am beyond frustrated.
Can someone help me please????

Java, signing Help

Ok, maybe I'll get an answer on this but I'm using apk manager on my computer at first it was saying that "adb was not found but now its saying Java not found will not be able to sign apk" and when I go to sign using Avabox it keeps saying "error occurred during initialization of VM" "java/lang/NoclassDefFoundError"
I've downloaded java but that error is not going away. Help please.

[Q] SDK Manager Connection timeout

I've been trying to install the android sdk but keep getting the following error messages:
Failed to fetch URL xxxx://dl-ssl.google.com/android/repository/repository.xml, reason: Connection timed out: connect
Failed to fetch URL xxxx://dl-ssl.google.com/android/repository/addons_list.xml, reason: Connection timed out: connect
(Substitute "http" for "xxxx" - this forum won't let me post links yet but I'm only trying to post the error message I'm getting.)
I can view both of these files in the browser. The only thing I've been able to find is telling me to force the download as http instead of https but as you can see I've tried that already.
I'm running Windows 7 with Java 1.7 (32 bit because I couldn't install the sdk manager with the 64 bit version)
I can't be the first one to have this problem. What am I doing wrong?

Looks like a firewall issue on your PC. Try disabling the firewall then restart SDK Manager. Let me know if this helps.
What a noob! I thought I had allowed the proper access through the firewall but it took disabling it entirely to get it to work. Thank you!!!
Hello, I had the read timeout error and seems to be solved after disabling the Windows firewall as Omnichron said, even though my "SDK Manager.exe" was already permitted in private and public network.
Due to I would not leave the firewall off, which other process I have to authorize under Windows firewall? (Win 8.1)
Hello, I'm having the same trouble. For the last 2 days I've been doing nothing but trying to install a mere SDK. All firewalls are down. I run everything as admin. All I get is «Download interrupted: Read timed out»
I have no proxies.
Any ideas?
Cheers.
EDIT:
This is what I get:
«The following SDK components were not installed: build-tools-23.0.1, extra-android-m2repository and extra-google-m2repository»
Do you know if I can Install them manually?
2nd EDIT:
Forgot Environment Variables :S
It's all good now.

Can't install ADT plugin for Eclipse-Error-Win7 x64

Whenever I try to install the ADT plugin, I get the notice, as Google instructed,
Note: If you get a security warning saying that the authenticity or validity of the software can't be established, click OK.
Click to collapse
But when I click OK, it shows an error and says Installing software has encountered a problem. I don't know what should I do. I Googled the error but nothing came up!
The error:
Code:

MEmuManage.exe: error: Details: code E_FAIL (0x80004005), component Machine, interface IMachine.
Starting up Memu console.exe and clicking play on any of my VM's MEmu_1 to MEmu_15 i get this error. i reinstalled the current version yesterday and it loaded perfectly. i really dont want to re import all my image files again, is there a way to fix this error?
Admin move this Topic if incorrectly placed idk where to post but i figured In the Assist section.
still no replies huh. well ive decided to uninstall MEmu's current version and im reverting back to the old one.
im tired of all this ****ty error bull****, no other emulators require additional options to be enabled and drivers are always getting blocked "unassigned driver" plus the error i mentioned above.
think i might just give up completely and come back when you give a **** (fix your bull**** errors)
