Has anyone tried this found it on dream forums
have installed and works but need genius to set it as defauls etc

sorry was more meaning to set it into the Heron rom.
The other forum for Dream someone has stripped rosie and standard launcher out and added this in.
I was thinking that as this would likely allow a real Rosie feel and indeed some more benefits, is it not possible that the hero rom could run a lot faster.
we would then have all the benefits of hero plus the feel of rosie plus the gestures.
Hope that explains my need for a genius

What seems to be happening for you.
I am using back hero rom and just used the adb install command to put both the widget and the open gesture.
is that what you did.
I have a feeling that you might not be able to do it with other launcher in as this isnt on the rom I am using
hope that helps because this wroks a charm real fast.
Just need the help of a Dev

actually i tried to install the open gesture twice as i thought i had the widget installed. its all on now and looks great. transform the french 2.4 rom which is by far the most stable here. looks like hero with android base. i am happy now. just wish it would let me install weather widget so i get the weather too. obviously the clock is all for looks as it dont update time but hey it looks good but the clock has to go

Time updates for me.
I was thinking that someone has made a HTC widget to work in the clock so surely they can do the same with Weather etc.
Time might update for me and not you as I am running Hero rom by jepeara
I agree is weather could be done and maybe calender then who need rosie I think this might be better .
I have no lag and flash player and sense ui for multi touch.
Problem solved just need a dev to help pt it all together becuse this is fast absolutely no lag on a hero rom and looks like rosie

ah i wuill flash hero v1.4 and disable touchflo and add this app......... nice replacement mate you are right. hero v1.4 is much quicker when home is enabled and not touchflo. now i can use hero rom without losing the looks and speed!

Can you report back how it performs I am using the stripped down version of hero not fatalitys version 1.4 so would be really keen to fine out how it performs.
Just thought I would run it on one rom for a period of time due to degreding performance issues seen on hero roms in the past.

i love that fatal1ty hero rom but 1.4 is just too slow and battery hungry. 1.2 is still better than 1.4 in my opinion as more time was spent getting it right. will try it on 1.2 now

right i installed this over fatal1ty hero v1.4 and disabled touchflo to get google base which works rather well. i enable the open gesture home replacement and widget and i now have all i asked for............ a hero rom with speed and stability not compromised! been using for hours now and its swank! hope some of the chefs can incorporate this into one of their builds. google home with hero look this defo is! very good find friend!
edit: looks like the powers that be have done it again. closed access to the page where the downloads were. says no access! don't know why? hate it when that happens.

Does this work on a standard Rom? What does this do exactly? Multi touch in browser?

it allows you to makes gestures on screen to launch programs or contacts by the pattern you draw on screen.
No Idea why download stopped by this in a rom would be fine.....

right i woke up this morning to find my battery totally flat after fully charging prior to settling in for the night bout 12. i did diasble geotag in widget setup after install. something ate my battery throughout the night so i think the base that is used for this is of out most importance. i am now charging my phone after the initial panic of thinking it was dead.......... back on spfrance and will stay there from as he is incoporated the clock without using this app!

i am getting no issues at all battery still half full no charge since installing yesterday morning.

i have it installed over this above rom and all fine.
so i guess it must be something in rom
oh and I have a colleague who has it installed over NK02's ion rom and he has no issues either

ya i agree. i installed it over fatal1ty v1.4 which is a battery hog anyway. anyway it works so thats the main thing. clocks starts updating after boot

That depends,
I was commenting on how it works with Roms and the developement of, and how a program like this could be used as home in a hero rom to try and improve it.
so in my opinion No but each to their own

Still running really smooth have now tried on 2 hero versions if only I could strip rosie out think this would be a good alternative

HTC Sense applications..

is there no way to make the messaging, contacts, music, and calendar apps available on non-sense ROMs? i know the widgets cant work without rosie..and i dont mind that but im looking for the applications instead

becides my mod "MotoSense" , no...
all is tightly integrated into the android framework..

will you be continuing the froyosense ported from the incredible? i dont really like the rosie home (prefer launcher pro) but i really really miss those apps from sense

wow thats amazing work. i knew someone willing would be able to do the port. now we just need someone to port the apps from a wvga device.. desire maybe?

MotoIncred ROM turned out quite well.. so you can maybe experiment on that edition if you wish to have an alternate launcher? i think others made it for the desire?
note, it has no camera or bluetooth working, but rest is now ok.

not sure i understand your question? resolution on motoFroyoSense works fine, i have fixed graphics now, so it fits 854x480.

what i mean is to port the previously linked apk of HTC music to a WVGA resolution so it can be used on a stock Milestone rom

try using launcher pro PLUS, it is a home which is very similar to htc sense

Those are widgets but not the actual apps themselves. Personally i really just want the HTC Music apk to fit our screen. I prefer that over the default music player or the other laggy-er players on the market

well do you just want the launcher and widgets or the whole set of menus dialer and more?
you can use 3rd party apps like go contacts and launcher pro and go weather or beautiful widgets or fancy widget and replace the lock screen with a market ap but to port the ui takes work both ui's have some kernel integration and the phones use completely different hardware so it takes a lot of work from experienced developers and none here have any interest in that. best i can tell you is to buy a sensation or it's canadia equivelant if you are not satisfied with market app.
though i do like mikeys suggestion.

I prefer Mikey's suggestion, agree with Dani's and suggest you look at how the proposed Sense port went for the original sgs and then come back......

I used Sense with Cookie's improvments. The GO Launcher and ALL of its addons are actually far superior - then add 2 quicklauncher - and this phone DESTROYS sense. Just a bit more work to get all assembled - but its all there and WAY MORE.

Getting TRUE sense UI on samsung based rom is (impossible??). Porting them is a lot harder then anyone might think.

sense is very heavy. i remember even 2 years ago on windows mobile phones it consisted of thousands of files. and it seems to only have gotten more bloated. its definitely not impossible, but its so intertwined with the framework, it would take alot of work. htc is not going to make it easy.

yeah I didn't know.. I know they port all the time from htc to htc so didnt know how it was from htc to another model or another model to htc.. the sense 3.5 for my inspire was great but the phone button broke, so i got the samsung infuse until the next htc came out.. I do however like some of the feedback i got and with a few free apps from the market ive got it dialed in with the htc looks without the battery cpu and mem hog.. may just get the galaxy 2 and mod it the same way and see if i can hold off on the htc.. but i hear the htc holiday aka raider is going to be amazing

[ROM][DEVELOPMENT][15/02/12] ThiaiZO3D Spectrum morph

This is a project to mix and port LG Spectrum + LG Nitro HD ROM to our LG O3D.I haven't got myself very far still, just started to play with it yesterday.As you guys can see, there is a lot of work to do and I need help. It is still buggy slow, but Launcher rolls much smoother than our LGHome one. The ROM is mixed with my V0.2 right now, but the idea is to use as much as possible from the other devices framework.

It looks very good actually. Minimal lag there IA what I saw. And I noticed the important essentials are working, phone, wick. Wasn't able to obviously see if you got the GPS or data to work or even Bluetooth but definitely seems very promising my friend. Really good job bro.

When I get at least app drawer to load the app list. It is crazy how the launcher still very smooth even with the 7 screens totally full with widgets. Cant understand why LG havent released an small OTA update just with this new Launcher to us.

We can't understand a lot of LG's doing... Thank god we have a few devs onboard. Maybe LG should try to buy some devs too. Good luck with the launcher.

Tablet UI

So i already started messing with LCD Density
brought down to tablet UI 190 Nothing (crashes Touch Wiz)
also tride 170 samething just smaller icons and txt
brought back up to 320 and now touchwiz is permanetly messed and Tablet UI No where to be found
also tryed to bring up 2 360, 420, LULz, 540 <~~~ not good by any means
if you mess with density dont forget to install another Launcher if you forget to install a Launcher turn on easy mode it works on all densities
im woundering if they took out tablet ui in jellybean or if it is under a different density will look more into it

I tried the tablet mode app that I use on my Note 8 and it says it's already in tablet mode. :what:

i also used xposed framework and app settings to change just the system UI and no go i dropped it down to 213 it worked but no tablet mode
also touch whiz is jacked its stuck in like 240 DPI also tryed xposed to change just touch whiz no go

i am not going to have an argument here but this isnt developmental. Everyone who has had an Android in the last 3 years knows about changing the density. You can do it as easy as changing the build prop.
Just saying our threads are over booked with threads that are irrelevant.
Also you will not get tablet ui on this touchwhiz because it was not designed to be in tablet mode, Just like AOSP roms after 4.2. They removed that feature

Since 4.2 the tabletUI is gone from google-side. There is also no tabletUI in the new Samsung Tablet Note 10.1 (2014). All i know is Xperiacle is on the right way. Please be patient, he has a lot to do with mods/apps for our Note 3 and has a real life. If it´s possible he will do it. I am also a TabletUI freak and i can wait.

i have had tablet ui working on all touchwiz version ever since it was implemented by google . tablet ui was easy to bring back after it was removed by google , most 4.2 aosp based roms all have tablet ui for any phone ...

yep, i do it with the auto-patcher (i hate smali coding)on my tablet till 4.2. Here I think the systemui is/was the point.

I'm happy folks are discussing this. With the floating windows possible by short cuts or pen launcher there may not be as strong a desire for tablet ui but what I think would be good is to extract some from the apks form Note 10.1 (2014 edition) and get them to nicely fit and work on Note 3. There is a deodexed version of its rom and I extracted some of its apks. but the only one I got to work so far was MyFiles. Hope folks have more success than me!

exactly xml . is where its at iirc any dev who pmed me in the past about it is what i told em , sure you can play with the jar files and add al the samsung goodies , but all tablet ui is , is a layout , its all xml and ressources ..

i use the splanner and the tabletjobmanager from the P600 2014. I also tried the email and contacts. At the email the will start and i can see the app for a short moment and than FC. The contacts is half working like on the Note 1 on the begining, all is working, dialpad, protocols and favorits. But when i hit contacts - FC. I also tried the secMMS from the P601, the result was a bootloop and Odin . Tonight i´ll try the contacts from the N900T, i love the white.

I only changed dpi of MyFiles to 300. I have a weakness for white as well...
