im sending mine in under warranty. and what im wondering is when i get my new one, what will be the best way to flash a rom to it ?

step 2: put rom on phone
step 3:need cwm, now should i do this by flashing the community kernal? or is there a recommended method?
also what should i back up? (ive heard your supposed to backup your efs folder)

ok so i have flashed and flashed been messing around i got what i think i like so i want to back it up my question is this
1. if i use my 2 gig card will it be able to be used for anything else?
2. how do you do a backup?
3. if i flash it to something else to try and dont like it and restore from my backup will it go back to the way i have it right now providing i save it that way?
sorry for the noob questions i have only had the phone for a few days

What are you trying to backup? Your ROM? You can backup the ROM using Mestrini's Wizard Service Tool (WST for short).

My real question is...Does anyone have a nandroid that i can use for my i9023?!
I bought it two days ago. Got ahead of myself. Anyways long story short I can restore through clockworkmod recovery. But I can not flash any roms. kernels, anything. That is completely locked out. I need this phone for tomorrow. Hoping someone can save me a few hours of sleep. I need pretty much any version of a nandroid backup for nexus s i9023.
My phone does not have root anymore, but as i can not do anything else but clockworkmodrecovery (specificially the restore function.....) I would greatly appreciate it if anyone could send me any type of nandroid backup. I will try all of them. PLEASE!?
Also. I have been at this for approx 5 hours now. tried everything there is. but no installing a zip file. PERIOD. only thing i have gotten to work is the restore fucntion
i did a backup thru the cwm, how can i find out if that was 2.3.5 or 2.3.6, i going to naniod back to stock i got the steps all i need to find is my back info, if it helps i bought phone 4/9/2012

Hello guys, Ive been tinkering with my phone all day and had a nandroid backup of the sprint stock rom for the new galaxy s3. Unfortunately, as a result of my building losing power in this heat wave, my hard drive with the nandroid backup has failed. Can anyone make an nandroid backup of the stock and post plz. Hello, I have recently bought an Hero H3000+ on android-sale.com but it borke few days ago and the customer support is not helping. The problem is that the ROM does not boot anymore. So I tryed flashing an other one, a Tawain101 ROM for H2000+ but the touch screen dos not work.
SO I'm looking for a great soul to help me, I have found a way to flash and install ClockworkMod recovery on the phone with no failure so I can backup & restore the ROM but I need a backup which I don't have.
Or the other way is to make a NanDroid Backup from a rooted H3000+ that somone here on the forum might be able to do.
I can explain how to securely root the phone or flash the CWM Mod and help me out.
Just let me know if you are willing to help me, it would be a great christmass gift.
