Hi,
Weather data defaults to Cape Town international airport for locations I input. Tried George and Mosselbaai (mossel bay).
Weather data stays on Cape Town for both using weatherbug or google providers. Location name not displayed properly.
Will you have a look?

Hi
a little reply, thanks for this weather app, I would like try it but, fonts are too small on my x10 mini pro,
and, when I search my city (I live in Belgium), the app not found city and force close ...
I try again later
thx for work
jdstrydom> for now, searching for locations is for now looking into WeatherBug locations DB only. Google doesn't provide free location search API service. Working really hard to implement "GeoSearch" to determine the nearest weather station to the location you select (search location form). That's why the location is not changed according to Google or WeatherBug. Locations will remains and only the weather data is downloaded from different provider (Google, WeatherBug).
Working on implementing other weather providers (like yahoo, YR.no, wunderground or others) - if you know any other weather provider, who have good accurate weather informations and free API, just let me know.
jason2005> I will check (simulate) your display resolution and increase the font size if there will be enough place on screen. Force close in searching for location ? Weird..I will check it and try to find the solution. If it happens again, please send me the error report - will help me a lot.
Thank you guys for sending your feedbacks !
Hi,
Just wanted to say that the location issues are sorted out.
I'm getting the right data from weatherbug.
Love the look of the app.
Thanks

Is there an option to use septate apps if I click either the minutes or hours on the widget? Just curious, because I would love to be able to launch both my clinch app and my calendar from the same widget.
Other than that, it is an amazing app, and I thank you for taking the time to develop the free version. 8/10. Fantastic job, but don't give up just yet.

I was unable to add widgets to my home screen. I would go through the steps and the widget box would appear on my screen but it says problem loading widget. Aside from that it is working great on my Nook Touch
What are the differences between the free and paid versions? I already have the paid version, I'm just looking for a comparison.

Same question. Is there any advantage to the Pro version? I don't see any differences in the descriptions.

I had an error about a week ago where it would not locate. I had to go to settings/location & security/ check the box use wireless networks. By these settings I meant phone settings not beweather settings.
Edit...I didn't realize this was the free version thread. I have way to many thread subscriptions lollll. I have the paid version. Not sure if my above suggestion will help.
I got your 10 char right here
Thanks that works, had to untick it and tick it again. But the App still FC's but in settings and doesn't load the weather completely. I have paid app as well.
Thinking it must be CM7's fault, quite a few ppl are having problems with the last few nightly's. In the process of flashing The Collective's "Absolution" mod now

Hi, I created beautiful and simple calendar widget - with 1 quite unique function, custom reminder. Forgetful people (like me ) are often frustrated with default calendar reminders, which just beeps and thats all I was angry so many times, that I missed something, that I decided to develop simple and intuitive widget, which shows agenda on your home screen and allows to add reminder (REAL reminders with sound play, vibro, etc) on any event. This was main purpose, but later I added some other functions...

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Main functions:
- shows all your agenda inside widget
- allows to change between your calendars (google/exchange/facebook)
- set reminder on any event in advance up to 24 hours
- sound/vibro mode
- customization (skins, text sizes, text color, transparency, more widget sizes,..)
- practical shorcuts to stock calendar (add event, edit event, delete event)
Maybe there are a lot of calendar widget apps, but as I know almost no one allows to set up real alarm on events + only few are so good loking, simple and easy to use. This app is for simple everyday use, especially forgetful people. If you like it, enjoy. If not, write here some of your tips or improvements and if they are reasonable, I will implement them Thx & enjoy
Link to app:
Calendar Agenda Widget
PS: it's free - just with some limitations...If it is against rules, just let me know and I will delete link to my app. Thx
*sorry about incorrect thread name, but can't change it from [APP] to [WIDGET]...
Fixed facebook events bug and few others.
Note: On some phones facebook events are not automatically added to calendar (usually rooted one but also some others). However, it's not fault of my widget. If you want to add fb events to your calendar, try this:
1) Log into facebook and export the birthdays or events (www.facebook.com/help/152652248136178/)
2) Take the URL and add it to Google Calendar (http://support.google.com/calendar/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=37100)
3) Open up Google Calendar app on the phone, and sync the new calendar (Calendar > Options > CalendarsToDisplay > CalendarsToSync > [The new calendars you just added] )
4) Go to the widget... and press refresh if necessary.
Seems like a good idea so far and pretty well done. I'm trying it for a while.

One really good looking app.. Subscribed and waiting for next improvements Keep up
Some things I've noticed:
-Weather icons needs resizing (MDPI)
-Manual location isn't working properly (at least for me)
And one little recommendation.. If the app is still in beta, there shouldn't be in-app purchases already for those little things like weather.. I'm not saying that having them is bad idea, but not for these kind of things..
Widget and alarm should be.
( My opinion)
Looks fantastic. May well be a replacement for Sunrise for me (not that it needs replacing, but I do love the look of this.
Really nice! One request though, can you add tasks/to-do for each day/week :fingers-crossed: ?
Looks very promising. I've installed the beta, will try to play around some this weekend.

I only hope that EC Commission regulation regarding "free" games in Play Store will be extended into apps.

It is possible to add to do list sync?
Agreed. Weather is way too available in other apps to charge for it.
Congratulations!
Awesome work.
Very nice calendar with some "Google Now" look a like aspect.
Keep up the good work!
Nice app. A few suggestions:
1. A month view toggle would be nice. Consider adding this option when the user taps the current day
2. Advance to the next/previous day by swiping the current day (top) pane left/right
3. Advance beyond the next 4 days by swiping the second pane

Beautiful! But:
1) why is the weather still there when I disable it?
2) To my surprise, almost no calendar app handles google tasks. I find it so handy to have it in one app and one widget (like "day by day"-app)
From organizational point of view, there is a big difference between a task and a date.
Is there a plan for adding a dark theme to the app in the future?
Thanks for feedback

Nice looking app with a nice concept..now, what i do not like:
- too much weather information on the first screen
would like to see the first panel and then the calendar. For more information about weather, would be nice to scroll the first panel or click on it.
- Month view please
thats all please keap it simple. nice job and concept!! Congratulations

Swiping is definitely something that should be one the cards (see what I did there?) A google now approach would be cool with regards to these cards methinks- maybe some way to swipe to change options? 9Perhaps personalisation of Sports updates?) Dunno how hard that is to code though...

AMOLED screens use less power on black walppapers/themes + it's a lot easier on the eyes if you're looking at it in a dark room. You don't have to implement anything, I was just asking.
Apple is doing well because their products are fool proof and have no option of optimisation nor customisation. You can't miss what you don't have.
Please, please, PLEASE, add the following features :
- month view / 4 week view with actual event text labels (and not just colored rectangulars like the AOSP / Google Calendar app)
- Google tasks within calendar views (especially monthly / 4 week views). The only current app I know which supports google calendar & google tasks is the old fashion looking jorte calendar (which has horrendous UI)
Many thanks in advance.

Hi XDA!
I'm Jolan, the developer of Magical Location Clock (MLC - mlc.jolanrensen.nl), an app I've been working on for about a year now.
If you know Tasker you might know me from my ADB Shell and Hotword Plugins, or maybe my Widget Screensaver app (all can be found at my signature).
I think it's time to release MLC!
What is MLC?
MLC is a widget for your homescreen that allows you to see easily and stylishly where your family or friends are, just like the Weasley clock from Harry Potter! The widgets are themed and the themes can be chosen from the default themes or from user themes that can be shared directly or published to themes.mlc.jolanrensen.nl.
More information about the app can be found at the website mlc.jolanrensen.nl, or at the Play Store description which I attached below.
The app is free to use, but if you want access to the huge theme editor, have more than one group at a time or be able to add people to a group using an API, you will need the full version that can be unlocked using a one-time in-app purchase.

Let's add some more screenshots:
To try it out, download the beta using the Google Play Store or XDA Labs.
Let me know what you think! For questions, just leave them below or email me at [email protected]. Please report any bugs, battery drain, tips etc. you find as I can then improve the app for everyone!

I've been working on this app by myself since May 2018 while studying at university. It's been hundreds if not thousands of hours of work and I've learned an immense amount in the process. There probably still are bugs in the app and things that can be improved, so please do not hesitate to tell me what you think!
This app works well with Widget Screensaver made by myself. With it you can display the clocks in a screensaver!
It also works with Wearable Widgets. Using this app you can display a clock on your smartwatch too!

Hi everyone, I'm now opening up the beta of Magical Location Clock!
Thanks to everyone that tested. Please tell your friends and family about it and design some pretty themes .
I'll release it on XDA Labs as well, as soon as this signature error is solved.
I think you shouldn't extend the app edge to edge for devices on Pie and below

Now could you also make the navbar transparent like what you did with widget screensaver? I know it'd take a bit more time because there are more color variations behind the nav buttons but I think it would be a great aesthetic improvement over the current tinted navbar.

It's on my to-do list! And I agree it looks better, which is of course one of the things I strive towards with my apps

Hi everyone!
I just found out emojis work really well with Magical Location Clock! They appear in the clock, just like any other text and can be used in addition to or as a replacement for location names. Remember that location names are split on the space that's closest to the middle.
When you're on vacation it's of course fun to add your camping as a location to MLC because you won't be home for a while anyways! With the app you can always add, remove or edit locations and everyone in the group will see!
Edit2:
0.104
Small layout updates
Themes list is way faster
Fixed bug on setup
Edit:
0.103
Fixed map search bugs
Easier to add new components in theme editor

Please let me know if you find any issues with this version as I changed a LOT of things under the hood. Hopefully this is for the better of course, but I'm always extra cautious because I have more chances to make mistakes if I have to write more code

Weather Forecast App, Radar, Widget and Alerts (by Advertikon) is a lightweight weather app for Android with a clear and unobtrusive, but informative user interface. The application provides the user with a weather forecast of 24 hours / 10 days. The weather forecast is displayed in graphs, which improves information perception. In addition, the hourly forecast provides extended information (wind speed, relative humidity, atmospheric pressure, cloud cover, etc.)
A distinctive feature of the application is an original and convenient way to select a weather forecast for a specific point in time - just scroll the hourly forecast graph and the application displays a forecast for that time.
Another useful feature is severe weather conditions alarms. The extension will notify you of a temperature change, precipitations, low visibility, strong wind or high UV index. Alerts levels are customizable.
Of course, the application has a set of widgets for every taste and can determine the weather forecast for the current location. An additional bonus is the weather radar, which allows you to visualize changes in weather conditions.
If you find my extension useful, or you have a suggestion don't hesitate to reply to this post. Thanks

Hi,
I used to utilize the dark sky app & I loved it, but now since apple has purchased it it's no longer available for android user's. And I'm sure that apple will be ending support for application's that use it for one of their source's in an android application.

Hi David. It's true that DarkSky app won't be available for Google users. But DarkSky API will be available till the and of 2021 (third party developers will be able to use them). So you have a year and a half to enjoy your favorite weather provider. But as for me, OpenWeather is better - more precise precipitations prediction
Hi Advertikon,
I've decided to check out the open weather app that you mentioned, I'm the type of person who always wants to try out new things. Stay Safe

Hi,
I just wanted to let you know that I'm trying out your app once again. I think part of the reason I didn't think that I was going to like it was due to the the radar portion of the app. Up until now I've never really used the windy radar system, at least for me it's quite a bit different than what I'm used to.

For me Windy looks fine - it has tons on information and quite handy hour-by-hour forecast. What radar do you prefer?
BTW if you want I can give you promo code, just email me at [email protected]
Hi,
I just wanted to let you know that you are exactly right about windy, the more I use it the better I like it.
