Is there any easy way to import the emails for a Facebook contact linked to a Windows Live contact into windows live?

Hi,
I've had a quick search and I can't find anything related to this problem of mine so here goes:
What's the deal with Windows Live and Outlook synchronisation? This seems to be a useless implementation and it's completely ruined the phone for me.
One of the reasons I have a Windows Mobile phone is so that I can manage all my contacts in Outlook 2007 at home and sync them with Outlook 2003 at work.
I keep my msn contacts seperate from these contacts, as I don't have MSN at work and I have lots of contacts on msn whose phone numbers I don't have.
Suddenly with this new version of Windows Live I have a choice of either not using messenger and keeping my contacts clean, or signing in and having it copy all my msn contacts into pocket Outlook so they appear when I load contacts on my phone.
It seems to be duplicating all my contact information (I had some contacts in MSN as I use hotmail at home) and there's no way to merge them. If I delete the contact with the msn logo, it disappears from messenger with no way to get it back (on the phone). If I delete the other one, it removes it from outlook.
Does anyone know of a way to merge the live contacts with outlook properly (i.e. not just by ticking that box in the options)?
The only way to get my contacts back to normal after Windows Live messes them up is to switch user in Windows Live and restore my contacts from my SPB Backup.
This is really frustrating me and I am shocked that Microsoft are still releasing such poor products to market
Mit
If you delete the msn contact and than get on the outlook contact, press menu press, "To Windows Live" and than take option "both", and use the email thats of you're contact msn account. now it will be merged.
Hope this helps
I am trying to find a combination solution to synchronize my windows live mail, contacts, and calendar with my phone. I know that Windows Live for Windows Mobile will sync my contacts and mail and I also know that the Outlook Connector will sync my calendar (plus more) with desktop Outlook. My real question is, does anyone know of a way to sync my phone's calendar with the windows live synchronized calendar created in Outlook using Outlook Connector. It looks like Outlook Connector has created an entirely new calender in Outlook. It seems like it also created a separate set of contacts and folders for email as well.

Just get Exchange. (It's free, too!)

Then you can have PUSH mail, contacts, calendar, and tasks. I used to try to find solutions with Windows Live, and then I got Exchange. It's amazing.
Sorry that there's ads on that page, but they have to pay for the servers. Yet, it's all free for you!!! Click on the New User link on that page to sign up. You won't regret it!
(You have to forward your old mail to your new Exchange address. If you donate you can change your exchange's address to be whatever you want it to be)

I'm providing it for free. But on a Exchange 2003 server. You can have your reply-address set to any address you wish, so to the recipient it seems like you're using your regular mail address. I'm doing this in my spare time, so it's free (though donations are appreciated )
Question.....
Windows Live has a service that you can view all your e-mail accounts and social networks from one site....(they've seen Vodafone 360 services probably) but I've one big problem with that. I would like to keep one contact list between my HD2, Outlook and Windows Live.
So I download the Live Plugin for outlook expecting that it will sync my calendar, tasks and contact list between outlook and Windows Live...but no....My Windows Live contacs, Calendar and Task list appear as a extra list in Outlook....now can I copy it from one list to another...but that's not synchronization....or can I somehow change the list it syncs?
I tried to delete the standard outlook contacts, calendars and tasks so that the phone would sync with the list Windows Live made but I can't......I've made the Live data file "default" but the mobile phone can't sync with it.
You can select in the Windows Live application on your phone to download and merge the contacts in your phone but that's only once and not if I change something in the phone that it will upload the contact
What to do? Help me plz....
The thing I like is that when I add a contact in my phone it also synchronises to the Windows Live contact list and to outlook.....but how?
Moved as not software release..
This is something I'm wondering about also. How come Windows Live Contacts don't two-way sync with Windows Mobile? I know that they will be upgrading their Windows Live services to support full Exchange protocol soon, but what do we do in the meantime? I don't understand how come this was never implemented in the first place.
On Windows Live Messenger, we can add yahoo messenger contact and chat as usual. But on Mango, Yahoo Messenger contacts are not shown.
When I tested login to YM from PC, My Live account status is offline on YM, but I can send message from YM to my Live account, but I can't reply from my Mango.
Is that normal?
Same issue in IM+, I logged in with Yahoo messenger and none of my WLM contacts appeared.
Sent from my Samsung Omnia 7 using XDA Windows Phone 7 App

Some WLM Contacts doesnt show it
Some contacts doesn´t appear in my device, I can´t send any IM, but when they send me a IM, I can see them.
Someone has the same issue?
Same here. A Yahoo messenger contact shows up on the desktop client, but nowhere in threads options.
Edit: They show up in the Live Essentials client. Along with a chat on Facebook option.
Hello there.
Is there some way to copy facebook contacts to my live account? I ask this because apps like whatsapp do not have access to facebook contacts, so I would like to export all my facebook contacts to Windows Live to be able to message them using whatsapp.

If you add details to a contact (like a telephone number), the phone will automatically create a copy of the contact form Facebook on your Windows Live Account and then link these two together on your phone.
All contacts that have a telephone number should be accessable by WhatsApp, so I don't understand your problem. Do you have the telephone number of the people you want to contact via WhatsApp?
A lot of my Facebook contacts have a phone number but whatsapp only recognizes windows live contacts. If i select a Facebook contact from the "all" list whatsapp tells me its not able to fetch contact details from Facebook contacts.
