I recently flashed the UCKH2 modem to my Infuse running Cyanogenmod to find that my GPS no longer locks on to my location. I tried GPS Status and all the usual "tricks" to get a better connection, none which work. Where can I flash the UCKE3 modem that originally came on the device?

I'm (obviously) a bit of a newb when it comes to android, and I was flashing back from cm7 to see how it was done. When I reinstalled GRJ22, everything was working fine. I then downloaded and flashed the OTA update to GRK39C (or so I thought). It turns out it was the update to GRK39F, which apparently is ATT or GPRS specific. My phone now thinks it's on ATT and is trying to use GPRS.
I'm on Telus in canada, and use HSPDA.
The phone was also showing baseband version I9020AXXKF1, it should be I9020AUCKD1.
I've tried restoring from a backup, flashing back to cm7 and to stock fw's, and even tried flashing the radio.
My phone still shows GPRS, and now baseband version shows I9020AXXKD1.
Is there any way to fix this? I hope someone here is knowledgeable about this...
That baseband is associated with the i9020t, or the t-mobile variant. The canadian nexus s is identical to the at&t version.
There is a sticky with all the roms. Use it and get the right rom installed
Unfortunately, the ROM I need seems to be one of the missing ones. Is there any way to backup the radio from my wife's (identical) phone and flash it to mine?
It looks like the file I need is 5282b5b3eb74.signed-sojua-ota-178324.5282b5b3.zip but I'm unable to locate a working link for the file. Can anyone tell me if this is correct and/or provide a live link?
Actually that particular one you want has broken tethering... This is a dump is the 2.3.4 with I9020AUCKD1 radio from my US import i9020a tested and working on SaskTel HSDPA+.
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/7812800/Stock-GRJ22-i9020A-unsigned.zip (will need to be flashed via CWM Recovery)
Thanks! I got it working by flashing the unsigned ROM in the sticky thread, and I'm running cyanogenmod 7.1 RC now. I'll keep the stock ROM on file just in case though...

Cool... I hope it works out well for you.
btw i got a rooted version of the stock 2.3.4 if you are interested as well.
So, for some reason flashing with your ROM set my phone to UMTS. Can someone refer me to a howto to backup a full ROM image from a phone, since my wife's is working fine and is on the right type of network.
Hi.
I was using a SGS S GTI9000 with Goatrip 2.0 but since flash to CM7 I have no bluetooth and 3g/HSD functionality anymore. I flashed back to Froyo, Darky 10.2, Eclair, Goatrip 5, tried different kernels and modems to no effect.
Phone allows bluetooth so it seems but no other device can recognize mine anymore nor can my phone recognize any bluetooth device anymore.
Whenever I search for the problem I only find advise for modem flashing which I think is not the root of the problem. In spite of all stock&modem flashing, factory resetting and internal SD card formatting problem persists. Can anyone help me please? Problem known after all? Or idea what it could be and what I need to "type"/search to find a solution? THX!!!
Have flashed Froyo and Darky's 10.2 Resurrection now as well as ZSJV6 Modem. If activating data roaming 3g and H works fine. But if data roaming is activated I do not get 3g running (in spite of activated SIMYO/Orange [provider] data package.
Bluetooth will run but not recognize other bluetooth devices. Any ideas what I could change? THX!
I used the UCLD2 CWM leak, including the root and fb/sammy keyboard patch, then booted up. (I've tried this about 3 times now with same results)
It boots up, and I get texts/calls and bars but 3g/4G LTE is missing, and can not access anything involving data - it expects me to connect to WiFi.
My baseband says "Unknown" but to my understanding, that is expected.
I have also tried using the radios/modems available here in the Skyrocket's all-in-one stop thread.
Any suggestions?
Check APN settings?
Tried that, but I ended up loading up the Sky's UCLD2 rom. UCLD2 Radio worked fine with it.
Thanks for the help though.
For the life of me I couldn't manage to find it.
My signal is perfect on cm9, getting "H" connectivity...
when I'm on 4.1.1 Factory Stock Image I get reception problems, tried many radios... almost all failed, none delivered the promising "H"
Can anyone check on his cm9 device and tell me what kind of radio (baseband) is being used?
Thanks!

CM 9 does not change your phone's radio, so whatever was on the device when you last flashed your radio, is still there. You can check your current baseband under the system settings menu ... "about phone".
Just switched over from a Samsung Captivate.
Flashed back to stock, radio is working and get 4g. Flash JB (SLIM JB), everything is fine. My gf could not hear me well while on the phone, it was echoey so i tried to flash several of the different radios for the I727 and nothing works. Error when connecting to network, no radio, no IMEI, basband unknown, etc.
What am I doing wrong?
Tried the Telus and stock ATT modems, the Blaze 4G modem and a few others. Absolutely no signal. Please help, I would appreciate it. Nothing in my search on the forum here.
BTW I am on telus and the telus radio seems to be fine for most but I get nothing.
I keep reading about RIL, people mention deleting the RIL with the GB modems (the telus modem is GB I believe). How do I do that?

That situation usually does not happen to me. But when it does what I do is: Take out the SIM and microSD, flash a darkside wipe on recovery (search on the forum) , flash a working modem for my device ( not a blaze or telus one), then only then flash the rom. Boot it, wait it settle for 10 min, turn off, put the SIM card back a restart.
It should work.
If it doesn't try to flash the original rom via ODIN ( can look how on vin's thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1652398)
Only thing I've ever had to do is to reset the APN.

Thanks guys.
If I flash the original ATT or Rogers modems that came with ICS without RILs it works. Baseband shows... Most of the other modems I have flashed (with RIL) either do not work at all (no IMEI or network connection at all in most cases) or a few work but baseband is unknown.

Glad it worked out for you. Just to clarify, but as far as I know baseband Unknown means nothing regards radio functionality.
