Does anyone know of a good screenshot app? Lot of the ones from the market come out blurry on my sensation.
I was using the built in option in 2.3.4 but for some reason it doesn't always work. ShootMe was a favourite but I don't think it works on the Sensation at the mo

it wasnt working properly with the sensation either! this sucks lol im thinking about posting a rom but wanted to take some screens and ask if its worth it

There is a stock built in one . Did u know that?
Try:
pressing power button + home key.
Tell me with works for u.
The stock sreenshot funtion works only with official 2.3.4, wasn't present in 2.3.3. Also, not every custom Rom has it enabled. I'm on InsertCoin 2.3.5 and it doesn't work
ShootMe works perfectly now. They updated it on the Market a couple weeks ago for qHD screens.

I think screen shot it,is easily the best screen grabber.simple,tidy and quick to access for my setup,just by holding the magnifying glass key. Also works in landscape mode.

Most have stupid icons in the status bar - ShootMe worked nicely as it left no signs of it running
If you only need your screenshots on a Windows PC, i would recommend QtADB tool (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=683223), never had problems with the screenshot function of it and also allows to backup apps+data and other nice features ...
I think I've removed too much stuff off my ROM for the stock screen shot to work, Tried a few times but 100% failure.
I used to use Screenshot but it doesn't work on the Sensation.
I did find Screenshot ER Lite on the market and it seems to work fine.
After trying a bunch, I'm happy with Drocap2!

I just tried Drocap2 and it doesn't work for me. I keep getting get strange horizontal banding (phone in portrait mode), not 100% consistent. Looks like it just didn't bother with some of the screen.
It seems to capture all the wallpaper but misses some of the graphics on top, again just a little horizontal banding.

Finally got it downloaded and installed and I gotta say, I'm pretty impressed. The only problem I had was the first boot (it took forever) but, it's stableness can match the Stock Fender ROM. Multitouch works (I only tried it in gallery) and you 5 panels instead of 3 panels for your homescreen. Here are 2 screenshots.

I just want to say thank you GSXR! I rooted my 1.2 earlier today, and yours is the only ROM that booted past setup wizard. I'm a noob by no means. I've rooted every Android phone that I own and the list goes on.
So far so good
- very zippy rom
- pinch to zoom in browser and gallery (no go in maps)
- wifi/BT works
- Camera/Video works
Only negative - Can't view protected apps in market
Looks like we have our first fully functional rom.

Protected Applications show up in the market for my phone. The only problem I've had is the shutdown issue, other than that, it's perfect. Good job, OP.

LOVING this rom! It's SUPER fast, and very stable! I've tested a bunch of things on it, still making my way through it, but so far, the ONLY issue I have is same as the others, it will not power down. Otherwise, the speed is ridiculous, my 3G seems to be far more stable, and all in all, it's gorgeous... Two thumbs up!!

Does the camera in this rom have touch to focus functionality? I'm about to flash to this one, but I do like the camera in the desire rom..

Nevermind, I've already flashed it.
Found 2 bugs: the camera and screen autodim
Basically this is the default nexus camera, and on the desire hardware (at least on mine) it cannot autofocus. Takes blurry shots, and the lens seems to dislike the rom..
The screen auto-dimmer seems to be stuck on really low..
Besides this everything seems to work fine. The lockscreen is perfect. Not keeping the rom though, the camera is a nogo for me.
Just hope somebody can bake this lockscreen into the desire rom

Nice, the stock 2.1 messaging and contacts are much faster and nicer than the sense apps. Forgot how much faster.

Its the Cyanogen rom with helixlauncher. I modded the framework and services.jar.

No, you have to do some work:
The morphs cant be used due to semi-root that we have today. (no write permission)
And the mods may need to be converted to be able to install on this rom.

Just installed Fresh 3.0b and the htc battery widget is missing. i really dont like batterylife that much, so if anyone can post the htc battery widget or how to install it, as i remember it wasnt just an easy apk install. thanks guys.
I like battery droid by vader. You can configure colors, background, etc. Also can show temp or around 8 other things below the widget.

Good looking on that official htc battery widget... just installed it on my evo and its all good works perfectly!!
Theres a newer version that's for devices with bigger screens like our evo's.
The version u posted is for hero's.

Wow, it has requested just about every permission imaginable I'm scared Or maybe that's the case for the stock HTC widgets? Maybe the developers declare whole permission set just to make their lifes easier assuming no one will see this as hardly anyone will be installing this (instead of getting it preinstalled)?

In stock HTC Sense, there's an option to download these somewhere in settings or maybe at the top of the widget picker. I can't check because I'm running cm now. But when I first got my Evo I downloaded a bunch of the extra htc widgets and I noticed two things: some of them were crazy huge, like upwards of 10 mb for no noticeable reason. And they all asked for every permission available for no reason.
This is what you get when you deal with Sense.
Yes I checked there but I am running myn's Warm Z 2.2 with sense 2.0. And the widget is not listed on the "Get more". I downloaded the one from this thread, and I get an error "There is a problem parsing the package." "Parse Error". Any ideas? I went to the file using root explorer to install it.

You'll know if GPS is working when you go to Nav and it locks on your location. You can also open News & Weather and see if it finds your location. As for me, GPS is a no show. It flashed once in Nav but not long enough to lock, and hasn't been back since. Did many wipes, flashed, wipe again and flash again, no change. Sucks cuz rom looks great!! But I use nav everyday for work. Only reason I can't make the switch to GB yet unfortunately.

Try flashing this first then flash rom back to back without reboot in between should help force close issue though i never had any with the rom!

it's aosp based so no 4g yet, nor hdmi yet.
Here are the miui apps that I've pulled for use with the Galaxy Tab, all .apk's have been tested by me and confirmed to work.
Depending on if people want them or not I will continue to port miui applications over to our tablets, these were done simply because I love the miui music app and the stock camera app on here is just.. well.. ugly lol.

EDIT: The lockscreen question was a bit far fetched, I do know that the lockscreen depends on the MIUI backends... so that won't be happening soon. Maybe a complete MIUI port XD

I have installed the camera, so far so good, but I could not change any setting as the menu is in chinesse only. Is there any chance to get it in English?

I fixed the Music link, also if the menus are in Chinese you should be able to fix it with a reboot if not post back here and let me know. Everything shows up English on my tablet but I'm on the Verizon Tab there may be some differences.

Thank you very much for the work so far. Runs much smoother than the stock. Tidy work.. I'm getting a weird screen error now. hmm gonna clear caches ect and do a re install

171!! lol The icons are small enough @ 200 for me.. does it make much of a difference in battery life/performance?
