can we get this theme ported to the hero?

i love the look of this theme!

I really want that too. BTW, it doesn't need to be ported to the Hero, it needs to be ported to AOSP 1.6 so we can use it. Not just the Hero 1.6, the Dream/G1 and the Magic/MT3G.

its probably the best theme ive seen thus far.

it's called darkstar by freekyfroggy. it is the BEST android theme out there. 2nd is htc sense and 3rd is motoblur.

emerica, you're so awesome.
I've noticed that there is a GPS icon in your white taskbar, and it never goes away. When the phone is actally using GPS however, there are two GPS icons.

emerica, I have an archive of all of the eclair icons (resized for 320x480) that I will upload in the morning, I noticed the ones in that screenshot are lacking the dropshadow and the edges aren't as sharp

heres a quick little update everything is looking good i got the screen transition animations working just gonna play around with it for tonight and hopefully have a full darkstar-theme for the hero for you guys in the morning =)

I just had a thought. Could you also port this to AOSP 2.0? I'm sure a lot of the people that don't get SMS in 1.6 (like me) who use 2.0 would like to use this theme. Or, if you could tell me how to port it, I'll port it myself (save you the work )

Does the camera in this rom have touch to focus functionality? I'm about to flash to this one, but I do like the camera in the desire rom..

Nevermind, I've already flashed it.
Found 2 bugs: the camera and screen autodim
Basically this is the default nexus camera, and on the desire hardware (at least on mine) it cannot autofocus. Takes blurry shots, and the lens seems to dislike the rom..
The screen auto-dimmer seems to be stuck on really low..
Besides this everything seems to work fine. The lockscreen is perfect. Not keeping the rom though, the camera is a nogo for me.
Just hope somebody can bake this lockscreen into the desire rom

Nice, the stock 2.1 messaging and contacts are much faster and nicer than the sense apps. Forgot how much faster.

Its the Cyanogen rom with helixlauncher. I modded the framework and services.jar.
Lots of mods in the nexus section that can be used now

No, you have to do some work:
The morphs cant be used due to semi-root that we have today. (no write permission)
And the mods may need to be converted to be able to install on this rom.

Hey guys. Long time since I posted on XDA haha.
Well I just wanted to inform all of you waiting for Unleashed 3.0 that it is coming along nicely. I was able to boot AOSP, with a decent amount of bugs that I am going to work on and cvpcs is working on with his Obsidian build(we are not working together), but if he finds fixes they go into my rom and if I find them they go into his. Another thing is that this couldn't have been done without slayher's help, helping me to get the vendor setup working.
Current bugs:
Phone reboots when you lock and then press the unlock button
Alt lock does nothing
Capacitive button feedback is very weak, meaning you can barely feel it vibrating.
Ill edit when each is fixed...
Fixed bugs:
USB is WORKING - *USB is now fully working thanks to slayher. Working 100%. USB Mass Storage and USB Debugging work. Now I can run ADB logcat and try to solve some other issues.*
Sound works, in phone too. *SOUND IS WORKING 100%. Thanks Blackdroid for the idea!*
I am not going to release this yet until I fix the lockscreen reboot.

Also another thing, people will ask me how this is different from Fission. Fission is not AOSP. It is based off the sdk image released by Motorola. Fission still uses the Motorola framework, it is just a vanilla rom. This rom is a full stock AOSP rom with the stock framework(with two Motorola jar files that are needed) and the stock sliders. This has no ties with blur in any way.
For all the people who wants Quadrants, this is the highest I have gotten. I range anywhere from 1800 to 2167. I usually don't care about Quadrant scores but you all do haha.

I believe it is Drocap a screenshot app. I recommend ShootMe though i like it better.

Hey guys today I found polaris office v4. It is available in more services app for galaxy s3. But it work perfect on galaxy note.
It doesn't require root and it will install without deleting v3.

True works fine. But has a message displayed on the pages. Its very annoying... V3 Works ok. V4 not for note... This seems to be one of the best office apps available.. Gr8 that Samsung has preloaded it.

That works incredibly well.
Polaris Office was the only app that would make me consider going back to Touchwizz. I can finally uninstall Kingsoft and Adobe Reader now.

Why does polaris require permissions to edit contacts, make calls and send messages?

am using jellybean CM 10 , is it ok?

[CM10] Camera (Photosphere) and Keyboard (Gesture/Swype)

So this is my first proper contribution to the forums.
So far i only have tested this on the nightly CM10 Roms
But please feel free to try this on other roms im sure this will work on the ICS Port but the camera will be upside down

yes swipe works fine :good: , camera works also but pictures has baaad quality :/ I tried some settings , but still ugly , and when I see them on my computer with big screen omg....I also tried photosphere , but It gives random images when I try to see the final result , please peolple report maybe I'm the only one or maybe I have bad settings I dunno

I'll test camera now i never really looked at the quality I'll post back my results

yes it looks much better on yours , I'll try today with diferents lights and angles to test
photosphere give almost the same result on my phone.

yes better with light , I had force closes of "gallery" when taping the photosphere icon under the picture in the gallery app , did you ever notice it ?

some people mentioned that you mite need to set your phone language to English USA but im running on English UK and it works okay for me im sory that people are having issues lol im not much of a dev i just made a flashable zip for you guys.
but try to change your language to english usa see if that works

Thanks everyone for your replies and i'm working on making an after-install pack for Cm10 fresh installs. as i keep wiping everything before installing the latest nightly so i got a zip with some apps in it that i like to re-flash after installing cm10 ill make it clean and tidy and share it with you guys.
the latest camera and keyboard will also be in there.
