App Description
Connect 4 is an enjoyable classic, but now, thanks to Android technology, you can enjoy Connect 4 with an interesting twist. Gravity Wins is based on the two-player game, however every few rounds, the board rotates changing the physics, allowing the pieces to fall into new positions depending on the gravity orientation. Now that can be a game changer.
To win, you need four of your stones in a line. The line can be horizontal, vertical, or diagonal. The active or winning player is highlighted at the top of the screen. The number in the upper-right hand corner tells you how many rounds are left until the next field spin.
Currently, two people play on one Android or one person against a AI-Player
All Permissions are because of Ad Support
Product Features
App to SD enabled
Enjoy the classic game, Connect 4, but now with a twist
Try to line up 4 of your stones while alternating turns with your opponent
Watch the board rotate every few rounds creating a shift in stones
Play against a Friend or against a Computer Player

Thanks for the post!! It's an fun game to play with nice affects!!
Amazing Concept!
I'll go try it now..
It's a pretty neat and uniguq game-mechanic. that gravity-twist that you give every four turns (is the time period fixed?). Maybe, you could randomize it and pump up the AI to make it more challenging.
Nice Game, though!
Good Work!
Thanks guys for your feedback

Update 1.8
Hey Folks, new Update is out again
this time we added more AI-Levels to the game to make it a little bit more challenging.
Also we added a Poll about a question concerning the multiplayer.
You can also always comment here about that.
Also check out the new review from Android Police

Really good job on that game.
Why does the multiplayer take so long? Cant wait to join online matches

For the matter of the online multiplayer mode, please see the Poll in the Settings of the game. We try to decide what would be the way to integrate it.

does the android market tell you that? because we already tested Gravity Wins on a HD2. We are not really sure how we can tell the market that it should allow the installation on any device, because the engine can scale on any screen.
If you like I can send you the APK directly. Just PM me

Can you report any problems you might have with our Game?
Recently some people started complaining without giving details.
Completely reworked
It took a while but now a major update is released.
The complete Design was redone and the AI CPU Opponent is much stronger now (Try on Level "Insane" :silly: )
Would love to know what you guys think of the new version

I'll check it out tonight and let you know about my findings
Linked to Play Store for you.
i would love to play it but market tells me its incompatible with galaxy nexus.
what an awesome game!
Easily the best pool game on the market, absolutely love the interface. Very smooth, stylish and accurate gameplay. You have my thanks and approval
It is lacking a Player v Comp, though I'm sure one is in the works. The challenges are great, too. Anyone who plays pool on their phone at all would love this.
Hey cheers guys, your very own friendly monster here. Great to see this thread didn't die an instant death as I am planning on supporting this game heavily and really appreciate a forum such as this to be able to communicate with the players.
Thanks for the great feedback. After hearing about how many people want to see an ai opponent to play this is my number one priority for the game. The signs are good so far and I hope we will all be playing against a believable, fun, computer player soon.

Great news there, can't wait!
After a couple of posts around the place it'd be a good idea to throw in a couple of screenshots and the market description (and link) in the first post. It just seems a little empty right now.
great pool game, can't wait to play against CPU or maybe multiplayer online game or WIFI would be nice addition
The UI looks great but all the pop ups keep shaking eg. where you select the elevation and the spin, and even the settings just keep flashing.
All screenshot are down to me...but I'll head to Play Store to try this game. Thanks.

This sounds like it is down to me switching off rendering for battery saving, I don't do it in the cleanest way though. I will look for a better solution. Thanks for the feedback.
Simply the best pool game available for Android. Simple interface, excellent physics, and beautiful graphics.
The tutorials are also very easy to understand. Touch responsiveness is great. I have no problems with this game unlike any other pool game for Android.
Great job on this one.
Tried it quickly on my Xoom tablet running ICS. Ran through the tutorial and couple of challenges. Seems very slick and I like it lots. Only two items missing:
1) AI player - Would be cool if there was some AI to play against with some different levels of skill. Icing on the cake would be if there was some kind of tournament play where you play against different levels as you progress.
2) Online mode - Again would be cool to play against other people across the internet. Icing on the cake for this mode would be some kind of ranking mechanism.
Maybe with the online mode there could be opportunities to add some revenue streams.
Nice game
Great job dude. You did good w/this. Keep up the good work man.

Thanks a lot, I totally agree with you. The ai is coming next.
I would love to do network play too, but as it's pretty far out of my comfort zone there's no way I can promise anything in this regard.
It may be that network play would have additional cost overhead with servers so would only be a feature in the paid version of the game.

Before cracking back on with a.i. there seem to be a couple of issues with the game, I will try and get a fix out for these today.
In the meantime here are some facts for you all I originally wrote up on my G+ page.
Six things you may not know about Total Pool
- The rules for the type of game you are currently in are shown in the stats page (the little podium thing)
- You can edit the names of the players by tapping on the name in the pre-match screen
- Replays can be watched for a whole rack/frame, in slow and fast motion
- In a match the two players have individual options for their controls
- The orientation of the screen can be set to rotate with the orientation of the device in options > graphics (the cog)
- Menu items can be swiped or tapped to switch options, a tap on the central item will select it and confirm
great game..
love it..
What a start to XDA
Fantastic game, great physics one of the best pool games on the market.
Requests as mentioned before, A.I. and online mode will be like a cherry on top for Total Pool.

I've just submitted an update to the market it should filter through to you soon
1.0.5
- fixed rendering issues on some hardware
- "Pass to " button now includes player's name
- electing to rerack, replace cue ball, push out or pass play to the opponent are now counted as a separate shot
- it is no longer possible to pause at an inappropriate moment between shots
cool pool keep it up!

It's beautiful. A bit laggy on my lenovo dual core though (even on low graphic settings).. will try this on my Xperia Play and see if it's better.
If you can make the graphic more fluid that would be awesome. Featuring this on my blog soon

With each update I am trying to improve performance =)
Really great game! Runs smoothly on One X
The game itself is nice, but some small logic glitches in the menu, though only minor stuff:
- got a russian (cyrillic alphabet) message with option =) or =( when I tried closing the game the first time. Didn't know what to do with that, lol.
- menu "cards" animation is always towards the left side
- if you've got the skills I think you should enable swipe switching between levels :good:
I am looking forward to some serious nailbiting and heart attacks for some hours thanks to you
Great job!
Great game!! Thanks!!
The game concept is very nice but the missions are very very hard in my opinion.
I'm at the 4th mission("Hunter") and can't solve it. I tried it for 15min.
This looks like a great game. I love the idea. Just installed it and if its too easy for me, my kids will surely love it.
Reboot, crash
Hello, thanks for developing simple games like that But I had a big issue. I was quitting the game and it asked how I was feeling, accidentely I pressed =( the sad smiley. It crashed into a reboot, and now it stucked on reboot, i can access to recovery but when i flash or reflash it just hangs... Is it possible that your app did that stuff ?
Awesome game! It's really addictive!
Playstore says it's not compatible with my nexus.. Dafuq?
Hrmm, Play Store said it was compatible with my Atrix.
When I booted the game, there was the initial sheep loading screen, and then completely black screen as the Mission Impossible song played. After blindly tapping the screen a bit, Mission "Return" loaded up and the game promptly FC'd.

A very short gameplay description:
“The Tower of Egbert” is a physics-based tower building game with a magic twist*.
Unlike in all the other building games I know of, you’re not restricted to using only a few elements to create a rather unspectacular building. Instead you may use several thousand blocks (bricks, arcs, roofs, deco items, …) to build quite impressive towers and discover interesting areas as you grow it towards the endless vastness of space.
You’ll have to fight gravity, winds, falling rocks, and other dangers on your way up.
Build the greatest tower ever and see if your tower can stand the test of time!
*you can build freely until you reach a certain height and activate the physics simulation. After a few seconds Egbert the Sorcerer will come to your aid and enchant/fix all the blocks built so far to ensure you can continue building safely

Hi, in my experience it can take some time for the Google servers to recognize you as a tester. Hopefully it should work by now, could you please try again?
i want to try this ...
I've tested this game on Nexus 5 with Marshmallow with high quality graphics - in this case I would be glad to see a bit more fluent animations. Another suggestion might be support for gesture navigation in menu - like changing the worlds with a swipe, not just buttons. But I have to admit, these are just tiny negatives that don't hurt overall great experience and the whole idea. Thanks for The Tower of Egbert, it has become one of the three games on my phone

A big thank you for trying my game and for the feedback also! I'm glad you like it and I hope it can live up to your expectations and earn a permanent spot on your phone I know the game is a little demanding (unfortunately) performance-wise. That is mainly a result of the high resolution textures I had to use to allow for a huge zooming range.

Hi,
it's interesting game, thanks ang gl
i've tested it on Xperia Arc s lt18i.
everything was ok, as for gameplay only one thing was not convenient for me - "brick type" buttons looks too small, and sometimes when i tried to change brick type - new brick appears and falling down so, i guess it make sense to enlarge buttons and avoid space between them

Sorry, I somehow missed your reply Thanks for your feedback! As for the buttons: they are actually larger than they appear (transparent background) and they are almost adjacent to each other so I guess you must have been unlucky hitting exactly the tiny gap between the buttons.
"The Tower of Egbert" has officially been released! I simply edited the original post instead of creating a new thread.
For those of you that have already tried the game during the Alpha/Beta: a lot has changed since then (and the game got a lot easier - only 2 seconds instead of 5 for the timer), so you might wan't to give it another shot It's also possible to rate the game now, I would be glad if you supported me once more!

Thanks again for all the support! If you're looking for something interesting to do this week and want to win some nice stuff - I've started the first “Tower of the Week” challenge!
Whoever uploads a picture of his or her tower to my homepage (Upload Tower | Giggly Mill Productions) has a chance to win 1 out of 5 keys for the “Unlimited Deco Item” package in the game - it doesn't matter how your tower looks, don't be shy.
Also there will be one single tower that will be announced the “Tower of the Week”.
It will be displayed permanently in the Hall of Fame (Hall of Fame | Giggly Mill Productions). Additionally the winner can choose between a key for the premium version of the game (ads away, unlimited deco, and all worlds unlocked) and a letter with 36 handmade magnetic blocks that can be used on magnetic surfaces (I use them as fridge magnets as you can see on the photos).
This first challenge will stop on Sunday the 28th of February 23:59 CET. I will announce the winners on the day after - if there are some entries of course
Have fun!

If you are referring to the actual game play, It was my goal to make it difficult at first. The game requires increase in skill to master it. I speak from first hand experiences that everyone who plays the game says its hard, lol. But after a few times, they get the hang of it. If you are referring to actual controls of the game, I would really like to get some more feed back on that so I know what to improve.
Thanks,
Hey there, thanks for the app!
Yeah, it actually seems rather hard at first but then I get used to it! However, you should bear in mind that the first impression counts greatly. So if the user plays your game for the first few seconds and realize it's too hard to play, this user will most likely close your game, because it seems too hard to make any progress. Perhaps you might want to make the first session of the game easier to see more user engagement and appreciation. Does your analytics data show that everything is fine with retention D1? or the 1st session of the game?
I also like the angle of the gameplay - an unconventional one for platformer games like this.
Will there be other backgrounds? Are you planning to release it on iOS?

Hey, thanks so much for playing. I will definitely take your advice about making the beginning easier to play. I don't think I have enough data in my analytics to tell if that is an issue. I plan to release it to iOS soon, just been very busy planning out my next project. Hopefully we can get new features built into the game as well.
Thanks,
Hello, just tried your game. Had the same problem: controls are not very intuitive and responsive. Also, reduce the time between fail and starting new game to a minimum, users will appreciate that.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cryingdreams.ploxterPloxter is a second game that is made by us - Crying Dreams.
In this game the only thing that matters is Your reaction time.
You have to swing in the right direction, but the game is getting harder as You progress.
The idea is simple, yet the gameplay itself is really addictive.
You can unlock a lot of different shapes and choose the one You like the most. Unique
and beautiful shapes are waiting for You to buy and choose them for the stars that You have collected during the game.
Are You better than your friends? We will just have to wait and see.
If You want to check our first game called HIDER… here is the link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cryingdreams.hider&hl=pl
Thank You for Your support!
It's good! The idea itself is really, really simple, but it's quite addictive Good job, seriously, it deserves a lot more attention
Wow guys really nice game! The graphics are really minimalistic, yet they look really good on my phone. Will play for a while and update my post with highscore
Really liked this game. It is nice looking and very simple to learn (btw really nice tutorial). Everything works perfectly. Shapes available in shop are okay, but I would add some more Overall you did a good job.
Nice game guys! It looks polished and the gameplay is fun. After getting like +50 score it becomes really, really hard, but I'm sure that I will be able to beat my score
good idea, vote 5 star
Thanks
Thank You guys. Have You got more ideas about what should we add to our app?
Decent game but am I the only one who thinks a little more effort into the art could be a bonus?

Have you considered adding like different game modes and/or more options to buy in store e.g different shapes, but also different backgrounds?

It would be great, if you kept the white one, or at least make them bright enough to keep the same nice nice gamma.
Looking forward to play it with new modes!
This game is so cool, I'll download it and have a try, and I'll also vote your thread 5 stars.

Exactly what I thought, I also think that they shouldn't change the overall white background, but rather add some kind of effect to it e.g. floating circles/triangles

Thanks CryingDreams so much, good luck to you.
Great, this UI is very comfortable, like this one. I always use applock to lock apps incase I don't want my bother or sister going, my games is just mine.
