Hi
I'm using DVP and I have following issue.
in Poland to connect to voicemail you need to dial *501 or to business customer care *456
Unfortunately when I dial such numbers from my DVP I'm getting beep beep beep and the connection can not be established.
thanks in advance.

Hello,
I'd like to use speed dial to dial a DTMF from my Hermes that will turn call waiting on and off, but I don't know what the correct code is?
I've tried *20# but I get a unsupported error back.
Thanks
Anyone..........?
Hi, i´m searching for voice dialing software able to dial a phone number as spoken
example dial zero zero fourty nine.... Thanks for replies
there are no free softwares as such i guess.
try out fonix voice dial
they have a demo and its quite good
How does my phone know I have voicemail waiting?
Does the handset query the provider to check for new voicemail or does the provider send some sort of signal to the handset when I have voicemail waiting?
I currently have a problem with a large number of handsets on a business account with Orange which sometimes do not get notifications of voicemail for a number of days after the message is left.
If anyone can give me some detail on how the voicemail system works it would be much appreciated.
i'm not sure if this applies for you but my carrier (optus) here in australia sends an sms / text message informing me of voicemail. so say i missed a call or my phone was off (and someone tried contacting me), i receive an sms saying "number 0123456789 called but you were not able to answer. a voice mail was left. please call 321 to retrieve it."
cheers
A little guy is creeping through the air and lighting up a symbol in your phone - hahahaha
It's part of WM registry tracking for notifications
HKCU\System\State\Messages\TotalEmail\Unread\Count
HKCU\System\State\Messages\sms\Unread\Count
HKCU\System\State\Messages\mms\Unread\Count
HKCU\System\State\Phone\Missed Call Count
HKCU\System\State\Messages\vmail\Line1\Unread\Count
This info is basically pushed down to your phone by the provider changing a reg bit from 0 to 1. Sometimes, after you listened to your VM this bit is not cleared thus "dangling notifications" function in a lot of cleaners.
Hi Guys and Girls
I got an inbound call from 08432114198 today. My Touch HD froze when I wanted to accept and when it finally did I found myself on hold and eventually connected to a voice mail box with the company not identifying themselves. I only then noticed, when ending the call, that I called out and incurred a charge. Obviously, if I press pick-up when they ended the call I call out. Just wondering whether there's a way for the inbound caller to make my HD freeze as it did to trick me into calling out and getting a chunk of my call costs? It probably is a stupid question just wondered as it was an unsolicited call from a high rate number and the caller didn't identified themselves. HD works fine on any other call. Is it me being paranoid?
Thank you for your time and thoughts.

I got a real SIP phone and a DID for incoming calls from one of those places giving out free DIDs.
Using Google Voice to forward to the DID number, I can now accept incoming calls and trigger outgoing calls from the website (they ring first my phone, then the destination).
I would love it if there was a way to trigger a callback from the SIP phone (even if it is to a fixed number, since I could use my skype dial in number).
Any help what the best way would be to achieve this?
There is so much conflicting info and I admit that I know nothing about PBXs or anything (so some of the guides also make little sense to me).
Could definitely run some software on my (windows) server or on my dd-wrt router.
Thank you in advance.
