can anyone help me and give me the xperia play game's data :
bruce lee , fifa 10 , star battalion , sims 3 and crash bandicoot
my little brother formatted my SD card and i lost every thing , i've searched on google but can't find any data for xperia play.
i wish somebody was here to copy the SD data

You cant delete the apk from the sd card, because they are stored on your phone.
Simply select them from the Game menu and re-download the data via wi fi, or connect your phone to PC Companion and update the software, which will download all the shipped games again.

you dont need to format anything.
Just run the application and it will tell you that you need to download the game data. Press ok and then it will download it. I recommend doing it over wifi.

've tryed to download via wifi ,but that was successfull only on fifa and sims 3
can't download carash bandicoot , bruce lee and star battlion ,
is there any link to download that ?
Go to a file manager, and delete crash bandicoots zpak. It's found in sd, android, data, com. Sony. Ncea
Find for other games aswell

I find I loose my wifi every time the phone goes to sleep mode. It still says connected but can't download or browse the web. I have to disconnect and reconnect. On large downloads it's a real pain.

You need to change your WIFI sleep policy. Go into WIFI settings, press menu, choose advanced. Under WIFI sleep policy, choose never.

Thanks for the tip Andro but mine is still set at Never. I don't know why this doesn't work. Maybe it is a bug. I'll call SE.
Reflash your
firmware and the games will be back...its much faster then calling Sonybecause I doubt that they would be able to help you. Use flashtool.

This guide will only work if you have rooted your device and with a Windows PC. We will not be liable for any damages arising from your use of this guide. Use the presented information at your own risk.
Remember that the tool is still beta software, so expect a lot of kinks and bugs. You can surf using Google Chrome, Firefox, Opera, or Dolphin Browser,GOOGLE PLAY MARKET although Google Chrome complains of not having an Internet connection even though it works. Ping and low-level ICMP packets don’t seem to work either.
Requirements
A rooted Android phone
Desktop or laptop computer running Windows
Working broadband Internet connection on the desktop or laptop
Android Software Development Kit (SDK) installed on the desktop or laptop (optional but recommended)
Instructions
1) Download the reverse tethering tools from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=829285&d=1324833033 and save the file to your computer. The ZIP file contains AndroidTool.exe (Android USB Tunnel tool for your Windows machine), ADB, and the Android APK (Beta Android USB Tunnel tool for your Android phone).
2) Extract the ZIP file to a folder on your computer.
Enable USB debugging on your phone by going to Settings > Applications > Development > USB Debugging.
3) Go to the folder where you extracted the ZIP file’s contents.
Run AndroidTool.exe.
Connect your phone to your PC using a USB cable.
In the Android USB Tunnel window, click on the Refresh Devices button.
From the list on the right of the detected devices, select a Domain Name Server (DNS) to use.
4) Click the Show Android Interface button. This will install the app and other needed binaries to your phone.
If the Superuser app on your phone asks whether to allow “USB Tunnel,” choose to allow the app. If the process crashes after receiving Superuser rights, close the Android USB Tunnel Windows application and repeat the procedure from the start.
5) Click on the Connect button on the Android USB Tunnel window on your computer.
6) Again, if the Superuser app on your phone asks, choose to allow “USB Tunnel.”
Congratulations! You have successfully reverse-tethered your Android phone to your PC.

I made this thread just to help others,which i found on the net...and it is not my creation...LoL...
U should give the original developer a credit on ur thread at least..
Its an opensource so finding the exact developer is impossible for each version...And i dont have benefits in posting this thread...............................................

Yeah it works fine , having been using it since a few weeks.
But I need Reverse Wifi Tether.
I believe it was possible to enable AD Hoc for Wifi connections for Froyo a few months back.If you have any way to get it working for this device , Pls share it , would very much appreciate it.
When i press connect it will connect but after a couple secs the app force closes .Why is it happenning plz send me the FIX .

you should try connectifity (windows 7) to sharing internet connection via wifi
any new upgrades?on stock firmware with root the game don't see the connection fot the download of the files :/
currently this release supports browsing through android
web browser oly
but with the ics rom on my i9003 i could download sd files for the games :/

Also can play youtube video and play game online such little empire and paradise island. And can download sdfiles to but it depend your modem connection

This is for those who want to connect to internet using pc without wifi!!!
There were several threads about reverse tethering that required windows essentials,that were still in beta version.Foll all the guys who wanted this a new app in market has been released!!!!
Search the market for "reverse tether"!!! (SORRY THIS IS MY 1st POST.SO I CANT PROVIDE LINKS)
Just follow the instructions wich should really work.
if not,**try bridging ur android network and ur pc network.if stiil doesnt work,unselect
*appear as 3g
*notify me when connected!! I assure u this will definitely work!!!

problem is all cm7 for my mobile have usb tether bug .. and the app doesn't work with wired tether app ;(

When you say without wifi. Do you mean the PC and phone don't have wifi working radios? Because if they do and you have a wired internet connection just use connectify. It's free and works great. I may have misunderstood the purpose of the thread though.

After reviewing the app I guess I don't see my personal usefulness in such an app unless either the PC or phone don't have functioning wifi radios. Which I could see in a desktop. I do however see the usefulness on connecting to a PC to use it's internet. Clearly this app is for others that do require this function.

I tried but it throws me an error "failed to start tethering. Make sure that this device supports or allows tethering". How can I fix this. I use LG GT540 with Cyanogenmod7 2.3.7

first verify wether normal tether(easy tether.apk) works...if not u will hav to download usb drivers for cyanogen(google it)....make sure ur rooted!!!

I'm starting to think is my celphone model, I waited for the "legal" hour and nope, I changed the hour on my pc, and nothing T-T, and it's rooted and so. But as I said, maybe is my cel, galaxy ACE with gingerbread 2.3.4

problem
I upgraded to the latest one today and it seemed to start working. After running the program (I had it set to control 3g....or make apps work as if it saw 3g), it won't let me connect to v* with networking. Voice and sms works fine, but the 3g/1x doesn't work at all.
I'm going to try to restore from a backup and see what happens. Anybody have any ideas?

Not sure what happened, but I restored from a clockworkmod recovery backup I did earlier today (before I used reverse tether). Luckily, this seemed to get my network connection (3g/1x) back.
Reverse Tether is a great idea and it's really something I need, but I'm a little leery about using it now since it messed my 3g connection up.

Sorry to say this but quiet a stupid question you are asking , if u want to download a huge file then download on 3g and what's the problem regarding battery , simply connect your phone to charger while downloading , i usually download at night tym , i put the phone on charging and the ohone keeps on charging and downloading games simultaneously .

Problem is games come in small Mb and Game come as a torrent (if cracked), most of us prefer games to download via PC
google must provide Software to download Apps on PC then transfer on phone Like iTunes by apple

Then hit connect button it will take some process It will ask root access also grant request of root access...
When process Compete Now ur Connected......

hi guys.. i need help with my dad's phone,.
he bought this phone, which is used, from a 2nd hand shop. after he purchased it, he did not notice that playstore was installed.. even internet browser is not available. i tried to download via apk file , but my pc wont detect the phone.
so i used my micro sd card and copied the playstore.apk file. once inserted in the phone . i installed it , but when i tried to open it , it say application stopped.. i tried the same method but downloading google chrome.. the same problem occurs, 'google chrome has stopped' . so i tried to get on to recovery menu but it does not have recovery in it! it shows 'No data' .. is this some kind of scam ? did the seller block all access to my phone except call and message? i cant access to my pc via usb, recovery menu not working. any apps that uses internet will immediately close.. any ideas on how to overcome this? i have also tried downloading apptoide, still no luck..
