Amazing Spider-Man game releasing tomorror?

Hi guys,
Does anybody know if the amazing spiderman game is releasing tomorror?

Officially - yes. But please look, this is Gameloft - relase date (especially for Android devices) can be changed.

I'm playing it on my iPad runs really smooth and good gameplay and visuals and even if it releases for android I highly doubt our play will run it without lags

IF Ipad runs it with high quality graphics, it's probable that Gameloft gives out a degenerated version of that on Android devices, especially for our play. Like what they did with N.O.V.A.3. and holy crap, my only wish for this game to come is with smooth R800I gamepad support also like what they did with NOVA3.:laugh:

because, in simple language our xperia play dont have the horse power to run this game

Funny thing is, the banner ad at http://www.pocketgamer.co.uk/latest.asp?sec=27 shows it being advertised on the Xperia S and Play

I tried Spidey few minutes ago, and it's NOT optimised, at least on my device. We can call it 50%, cause I can move touchpads on our gamepad, but when I use one, I can't use second. When I use second (to change my view) I can't walk - it must be some "bug" of touchscreen controls - I'm pretty sure Gameloft is too lazy to make compatibility for their best game created for Xperia Play - it will be awesome to play it, but without controls - the same like Mass Effect - Infiltrator - it's just "another game" - nothing special for Play users. Cheers, and sorry for bad info .
You ****ed up again, Gameloft. I lost hope for you, what next? Batman without Play controls, and Asphalt 7 coming soon on June....2015?!

Megatroid working with Xperia Play controls...

Just to let you guys know free game MEGATROID by Triolith Entertainment AB works with Xperia Play's slide out controller despite claiming to be non compatible with our devices on Google Play. The controls only work in game but are perfect, whilst menu selection is touchscreen (which a lot of optimized games do anyway). It's a combo of Megaman and Metroid and a nice little time passer...enjoy!
...Oh and if you switch the controls to 'Tablet' in options they're are hardly visible on screen

You'll have to go onto a forum like (Market Militia) and download it from the 'Free' games section. Since it's a free game I figure downloading it from one of their links is fine

Makes sense as my Xperia Play is R800i. No need to spoof myself now as I already have it. I'm assuming it's an error that will be amended shortly.

Game is really damn fun I sure do hope everyone gives this a shot.
BTW, I contacted the developer about seeing if they'd add an option to hide on-screen controls completely (and add the one-liner to the AndroidManifest.xml so that it shows up in the Game Launcher).

I heard it uses a freemium model, is it playable without paying at all?

Haven't had a chance to go through it at length but it would appear so.

Prince of Persia Classic - Needs Xperia PLAY Support

Just came acrosee this. Its a remake of the original 1989 Prince of Persian but with updated graphics. Its 2.99 and from the looks of it no Xperia PLAY Support.
I have emailed Ubisoft and asked about adding Xperia PLAY Support. If you are interested in this game I would strongly recommend you email them as well.

The link you posted didnt seem to work, I hope they do add button support. Prince of persia was hard enogh back in the day, I imagine it would be near impossible with touch screen controls.

Actually, now I don't see free version in Google Play, only paid stays .

Okey, it is optimized in menu etc. but there is no option to hide controls so I think it is "no-planned" optimize - just for pads like PS3 or something - that's why Play's DPad working. Also Menu and Circle button are for start/stop, so except visible virtual-pads on screen - it's really like for XPlay (but we can move all buttons in one place and we voilla!). And no lags etc. waiting for Rayman Legends by Ubisoft - hope this one will be similiar to PoP ^^.

The free version is back in the market. However, it crashes everytime the app verifies some files.

I was reading some posts in GPlay and some people says that is XPlay optimized, but the on screen controls can't be hiden...
I think that is very good idea to try this game!

The game works perfect you can all buy it without any problems, 0 lags , im runing GB nxt 1.3, the only "problem" is the screen controls cant be hideen but you can put them all together in the bot right corner..

The game is 50% off right now. What was the final veredict? Good controls? Does it run well?

It runs well and controls are good, but onsceen buttons won't hide, that's all .

If you prefer the old Snes9x Ex for some reason you can find it HERE still for free too.

Playing the "older" Snes9x Ex 1.5.7 vs "newer" Snes9x EX+ 1.5.7, the first one runs the games smoothly without lag.
Tested in Gin2Jellybean, Doomkernel v14 overclocked 1.1ghz

Any more feedback on the new vs old versions of this app? Include ROM and kernel as well.

Good thing with this version is Secret of evermore works well (sound)
But I find older snes9x ex 1.5.7 more fluid with other games
stock rom and kernel

If frameskip is set to 0, this version of snes9x seems pretty laggy on xperia play

Can someone tell me if theirs a way to remove or disable the onscreen gamepad. I use mhl to my tv and a wii controller so I don't need it on screen.

Double Dragon Trilogy (Xperia Play Optimized)

Dotemu just announced they are bringing the first 3 classic Double Dragon games to Android by the end of the year.
Dotemu has always been good to Xperia Play users and have no doubt like all the developers games (+ the SNK ports) this will be Optimized too.

Shows up in the launcher but keys work partially. Jumping is not mapped to any key presently on the XPlay. Will check some more if this can be rectified in the settings.
Edit: This game eats up an awful amount of RAM. The game froze 2 times. Have to mail them to fix the Jump button mapping & performance issues.

I found this title have 2 in Playstore, 1 is the remake i think. Anyone has try that too?

Just got to test this and not having any issues. If set controller to Xperia all buttons work fine.
