Ever since I upgraded to 7661 and 7720 I can't connect to my emailserver.
Using a self signed certificate results in a 85002012 error and no way to connect.
So I bit the bullet and bought a certificate. I got a certificate from Godaddy thinking this will solve all the problems.
Well, my phone does connect to the server and then stops dead in its tracks. Now the error code suggest there is a problem with the certificate, error code 80072F06.
I've been trying every trick in the book to get it to work but no luck. Current location: up a certain creek and no paddle.
I checked with Microsoft who claims the certificate is supported in WP 7. Does anyone have a working solution to connect my Omnia 7 with a Kerio Connect server using intermediate certificates?

Folks I have installed WM6.1 ROM on hx4700 and all working absolutley fine.
I have used Windows Visual Studio 2008 Security manager to make sure Device is using Security Off Profile (knowing full well about the security issue, i.e unsigned applications and hit at ibm.com for this).
The Program installs fine and runs and I can sync. Then if I reset device as it starts up I get a message : "The file "XCPCSyncSvr" cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found." and suggest reinstalling which I have done a few times.
So with no security, shouldn't be the signed app issue, and program ran so I know components are on the device so where do I go from here ?
I have got the same Problem. After I install the EASYSync Pro I could able to syncronize Lotus Notes. I was quite happy that it is working. But to my surprise after resetting the device (Cold Restart) I got the pop-up Window...."The file "XCPCSyncSvr" cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found."
Any Luck

Same problem on Acer DX900
Hi,
I have the same problem. There is a second solution now on this IBM site http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=465&context=SSKTPA&dc=D600&uid=swg21281860&loc=en_US&cs=UTF-8&lang=en
Unfortunately also this second solution does not work for me :-(
Anybody found a solution yet?
Thanks.
Hi all,
I'm trying to update my v1.4 Samsung Focus am having problems checking for updates via Zune.
My host machine is running x64 Win7 and the phone is running OS version 7.0.7392.0.
When checking for updates in Zune, I receive the following error:
"Can't check for updates right now. Please try again later. Your phone can't connect to the Internet because the server's name can't be resolved. 80072EE7"
I've done quite a bit of searching online and completed all of the suggestions that I could find, but the prob still occurs (different machines, USB cables/ports, disabled firewall, uninstalled/reinstalled Zune, hard reset, and more).
This seems to be a device specific issue, as I have no problems updating my wife's v1.3 Focus on the same machine.
I did find a forum thread where it was suggested that a similar error was caused by "USB instability causing the Desktop Pass-through (DTPT) connection between the phone and the PC to stop working correctly." (link here).
I tried to browse the Web w/USB connected and Airplane mode enabled - no dice. This would make me think that I'm affected by the above mentioned USB instability, but I don't know how to t-shoot or address that prob if it is the cause of my Zune update problem.
Got any suggestions? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hello guys,
I had my phone working on my home network, but after wiping it to try a new ROM, I cannot connect back to my Windows 8 network.
Previously I was on a Homegroup on 5 PC's in my home... all the same local user account name and NO password.
Now I get a Login Failure message Using ES file explorer on my phone which lists some things that could be at fault, but none seem right. Ive been trying to change sharing options on my main PC to see if that helps, but it doesnt.
My phone "sees" the main computer when I do a LAN server scan, but clicking on the found server the error says it may be caused by: "WiFi is off, SMB server is out of network scope, The IP is invalid, Blocked by the firewall, SMB service is off" None of which I think are correct since I have not changed anything on the pcs up till now.
Astro is even less helpful and says: "No Windows shares found on network"
Any ideas?
Thanks guys,
Mark.
Even same thing happening to me. I assume win8 network is a complete ****... well.. I hope someone has answer....
Did you ever figure this out?
Same problem on my Win7 box, although it seems to come and go...
Hello everyone,
I'm having trouble being able to connect to the wifi network at the University of Virginia. I have done this for years on various android devices/versions dating back to Gingerbread, but I seem to have hit a wall with my Nexus 5 due to a missing password input field during the AP setup process.
I have downloaded and installed both the CA and my personal PKI certificate as per usual (and, yes, I installed them for WIFI use). I setup the access point just as I have done in the past. The big glaring difference is that there is no field to input my password. This is the password I associated with my computer account here on campus, not the password used to secure my personal certificate which was entered during the install process. With no way to input my password, I have no idea how I am supposed to authenticate on the entwork. Sure enough, attempting to connect results in "Authentication Error" being displayed below the SSID in the AP list after ~20 seconds of "connecting..." status.
I have no idea why there isn't a password field listed there anymore, I know there was on Android 4.3 on my Nexus 4.
Any and all help is greatly appreciated!!!
