Possable loose face - HTC Sensation

I have noticed lately that when i push on the botom of the phone by the home icon I feel and hear a slight clicking noise as if the phone glass is not sealed properly.
Anyone else notice this?
Thanks

My friend has an Inspire and has this same issue.. Drives him crazy

I noticed the same a couple days ago.
But for me, it is on the middle on either side. Not too much though.

Screen coming loose

So i noticed today that when i pushed on my screen in the upper right corner it was making a creaking noise. Upon further inspection i noticed that the screen was actually moving because it was coming loose. Now its not really all that noticable but it creaks all the time when i put the phone up to my ear. None of the other corners move or make any noise. Anyone else having this problem?

I have thee same issue but mine is in the lower left hand corner of the screen. I hope it doesn't get any worse.

Mine too. I noticed it when I was tapping on the screen playing NESOID. I can hear it creak and feel the screen give.
Hope is a bad plan. If the screen is coming lose, take it back and exchange. If you are past 30 days, the manufacturer warranty is in effect for 12 months.
Has anyone had any luck returning their captivate due to.this issue? if so what steps did u take? Im thinking i want to exchange mine but im outta my 30 day

I just returned mine today. The sales rep told me that it was my imagination and that the screen was fine but since I was still with in my first 30 days (just barely) he had no choice but to allow an exchange.
I thought I had noticed the same thing on my Captivate but it was just the back cover creaking. Take the back cover off and the battery out to inspect it before returning the phone.
I'm not suggesting that anyone's screen isn't actually loose, just making a suggestion for people who find this thread and are experiencing something similar.
Its definately loose. Its not bad but im just worried about down the road.

[Q] viewing issues

In the top left of my screen I've noticed dust forming under the screen. I read this somewhere before, but couldn't find it since I'm on the XDA app.
I read in one of the other HTC phone categories that it is a manufacture defect because the glue didn't hold the digitizer down properly.
It's only 2-3 tiny pieces, and by no means is affecting my experience with the phone. My concern is however, how much will get accumulated under the screen?
Anybody else that has had this issue have any insight?
I'd exchange it. You never know and may get worse.

The Sensation is squeaky

I noticed that when pressing the bottom buttons or holding the phone sometimes will result in a squeak. The one at the T-Mobile store did this too. A little annoying.
There's only 3 buttons on this phone. Power button and volume rocker up/ down. Perhaps you're pressing your screen too hard. I have heard no squeaks. I also use a screen protector and a case though.

Okay, cool. I thought I was the only one experiencing this. Guess I wont send my phone back afterall; forbid me getting a replacement that doesn't work.

I don't care how hard I push anything on the Sensation I have, it doesn't squeek.

unfortunately, mine has the sqeak as well.
Mine doesn't squeak but it definitely feels a little loose. A nice gel skin case solves that though.
Mine creaks very very slightly when I press certain areas of the battery cover, but nothing more than that.
it doesn't squeek.
So far......
Mine doesn't squeak but does make a clicking sound and feel when I press the bottom buttons.... Three replacements and all have done it. Pissed me off that a high end phone does this.

it is known that after taking the back cover on and off a couple times the sensation starts to squeak...but this is easily fixed with adding a thin layer of paper within the backcover or just tape it (keep the antennas open)

Replacement phone feels loose in case

Today I got my 3rd sensation and when I put my back cover on it it feels loose. When pushing on the screen I can feel it sort of moving up and down in different places. Is anybody else getting this?

I also have the same issue, it's not very noticeable but it's definitely there, specially when pressing at the bottom right corner, I read a lot of people are experiencing the same thing, I think it's how it's designed, be it a glitch or otherwise.
Yup on the bottom right corner and around the middle left side of the screen. I so noticed the front facing camera doesn't line up that good with the hole thing in the cover. HTC is sending me a new one so hopefully that fixes it.

Same here .... On the right side of the phone ... when u push it , there's a little sound even that u can hear if u pay attention to it ...
hoped better design for a 600$ phone ...

Weird spot under the screen

Hey guys,
Today I noticed a very weird looking spot right above the "htc" logo on my TMO Sensation. It seems like there is some fluid just beneath the surface of the screen and the spot is right at the edge of the screen. I am really careful with my phone and i dont think i caused it. I didnt drop it or put any pressure on the screen. And, I always carry my phone in my bag. I really dont know what happened!! I looked at my phone in the sunlight today and it was there. I know for sure it wasnt there yesterday.
Anyone else having the same issue? What should i do?
Thanks.
PS. I will take a picture of the spot and post it when i get home.
For sure post a picture. Maybe it's the dust issue everyone is having?
I know its not the dust issue for sure. It looks like there's some kind of liquid under the screen. And its starting from the edge of the screen.
i have the same problem and i actually just sent my phone in today for repair. it looked like some circles (definitely not dust) that i can rub with my shirt and they would disappear, but only to come back 15 minutes later.
Well, i tried cleaning that area but no luck. where did you send it for repair?
I believe it is some kind of sensor, probably the light sensor for the automatic brightness or the proximity sensor. I have it as well. It's between the htc logo and the other sensor to the left of the speaker. I'm sure it's meant to be there. No need to send it in for repairs.

I hope that aint the beginning of a newton ring in youre sake.
Its a kinda oil looking spot?
For newton rings they say you applied to much presseaur on the screen wich caused it.

@Jimmah555 The spot is right above "tc" of "htc" logo. and the proximity sensor is right above it. so i dont think it's meant to be there. weird!! i am gonna goto the tmobile store tomorrow and check out the demo handset.

You Sir are great!! Thank you.
So if that's the proximity sensor under the glass like it shows on the pdf manual, what's the little circle thing to the left of the speaker grill? Is that light sensor?
