hi guys.i have searched ebay to buy reasonable battery for my desire but i am a little bit confused.i saw mugen and innocell batteries have good reputation but very expensive for me.can anyone help me which reasonable extented battery i can but from ebay?thanks a billion in advance.

I think most replies in other threads to extended batteries show that you get what you pay for. The cheaper ones tend to give just the same (or worse) battery life than the standard OEM battery.
The better, larger extended batteries are more expensive and increase the size of the handset too, but if you can put up with this they will extend the battery life but it won't be anything "jaw-dropping".
On specific batteries I can only really advise to keep away from the batteries sold on ebay from China/HK as these tend to be a lot more inferior in quality and performance and can be prone to going up in flames (literally).
EDIT: I forgot to mention that out of the two battery brands you mention innocell seems to get better ratings and reviews but they still aren't brilliant. Best to shop around online and compare user ratings. Checkout Amazon and Mobile fun for ratings for example, because ebay only gives seller ratings and not product ratings.

If you want to buy extended battery, you will need to notice on its charging cycle. Having larger battery (mAh) is not worth if their charging cycle is short.
Even though you got high mAh battery, they may be rapidly reducing its maximum battery level to 80% after you charge them for several cycle.
well i bought Andida battery advertised and alabelled as 1800 mAh - it does not work as advertised. After few cycles i feel it is now smaller capacity than genuine one, it does not charge up to 100% it stops charging somehow @99%. As a backup battery well maybe, as a replacement defenately no!
I've read that somewhere, that the HTC batteries aren't the biggest batteries around, but they somehow manage to get up to 95% of the capacity to be used. That is what none of those cheaper batteries can achieve, so it is senseless to buy a bigger battery that only uses some 70% and in the end the smaller, but more efficient HTC battery is your better choice

Wondering which battery to get of them two, I've read some users saying that the 3500M battery is actually smaller than the 3000M which would indicitate it has less capacity? They've also said that it doesn't live up to the rated capacity in terms of usage time. I'm leaning toward the 3000M battery as it seems to have a better reputation. I also don't really want to spend more than ~$15 on the new battery.
Also, which one has a better feel to it with the cover?

none of those batteries really offer the advertized capacities, probably the 3500 will give you a few hours more than the 3000 but expect them to be like 75% or less of their real rated capacity.

I can tell you:
With original SGS battery i have 1 day to 1,5 day battery life (im relativ middle to stronger user,GPRS,GPS,3G,etc. But with this 3000 mAh battery i have last about 4-5 days. SGS is doble dicker from original,but i have no care if i go on shorter travel without charger

I purchased both from e-cell in UK. They look pretty much identical, the 3500 one has label only on one side and it's a little thinner. But they are higher capacity than the stock one, about twice the capacity.
Doing my usual test while communting on metro and train, reading news with screen at minimum brightness, with the standard battery I usually lose 20% in 1 hour, with the big battery I lose 10%.
The back cover is a little too big and there's a space between the battery and the cover, so it moves, I had to fill the gap with a piece of paper.

A comparison of budget 3500mAh and budget 3000mAh and Yoobao 3000mAh would very interesting.
Specifically, the running time for the same use (eg video loop).
The Yoobao battery costs three times more as the cheapest noname battery.
€7, the chepeast 3500mAh battery and €21 for the 3000mAh Yoobao.

Hey guys, I'm new here. Anyway, I was just wondering since this phone comes with a 1300mah battery if I upgrade to say 1500 will I notice much difference in how long it runs? I've seen on ebay right up to 3500 but I'm not sure if they're legit.
Opinions vary greatly on 3rd party high capacity batteries. Some people swear by them. If you scan thru this subforum, you will see reviews and threads on several of these batteries, to see various opinions.
Having defected from the Touch Pro 2 forum, I am personally a bit skeptical about so-called high capacity batteries due to the thread below (but have not personally tried any). The OP for that thread did some extensive testing on various aftermarket and OEM batteries for different HTC phones. His conclusion was largely that the OEM batteries give the best value, and the aftermarket products are usually over-priced and don't deliver the promised capacity. Many of the "high capacity" batteries not only failed to meet the advertised mAh, but even rated lower than the "standard" OEM batteries.

I dont find that one too bad. Youre getting 2500mah, nearly double our OEM battery, for $20.
Whether its 3600mah or not in the end may be relevant if you just want some more juice. $20 isnt too big a hit for nearly 2 times the battery life.

I've had my Galaxy S 4G for several months now, and recently the battery life has lessened during daily use.
I originally used a 1700mAh genuine Samsung battery (forgive me it may have been 1650), but switched over to some backup batteries I have that are 1500mAh.
The 1500's don't have the same life, so I'd like to buy something better.
I found a 2000mAh on eBay, but would that require a new battery door? The seller does not indicate the battery size. Is it possible to get a 2000mAh battery for my 4G S that is the same size as the original battery?

as far as I know, there's only one fairly decent battery that will fit your phone as is. and that would be the 1800 mAh battery. there's a thread about it in the accessories section, you should look it up

They sell 1800mAh batteries on eBay for 2.99, so I think its worth a shot. I just don't want to get a battery that requires a new door, or makes my phone thicker.
Just saying, you get what you paid for. Honestly, IMO you should try to get the OEM samsung battery for the epic 4g touch, or ankler 1800mAh batteries. there was a battery thread somewhere around the vibrant accesories board which someone tested a bunch of batteries, and a lot of the cheaper off-brands had a lower mAh rating than advertised
We shall see. I actually ended up ordering a 2000mAh off eBay for 11.49. The battery was listed as a fit for my phone. I have actually had some good experience in the past buying third-party batteries, specifically for Motorola phone, but, I've also had poor experiences buying knock-off batteries for blackberries that were packaged to look like the genuine thing.
I'll post back, maybe in a week or so when the battery is delivered and I test it.

I think you'll get a cheap battery with - at best - the same capacity as an original battery.

You can't squeeze more capacity into the same volume - that said, there are some battery manufacturers who can get an extra 10% or so. I remember buying one from a very reputable company in Switzerland several years ago for a phone, but I can't recall their name
So either them, if you can track them down, or an original battery. Stay away from batteries which promise enormous amounts of mah, or are just very cheap. The original is not a bad option since realistically the phone has a remaining life of a couple of years max.
Another very good option is to buy an external pack. For example a 5000mah pack occupies the same volume and weighs the same as a phone, and will provide plenty of spare capacity without adding weight or bulk to the phone (unless when you are using it, otherwise it can sit in a bag). NewTrent is a good brand, as is Xiaomi, good offers on Amazon.
(I got myself a Xiaomi 10,000mah battery pack which is technically really good but just too heavy and bulky)
That's fake, it's still 2100mAh, you can't squeeze more mAh from same size.

So my wild guess is technically it is possible to get 2500mah probably. If that is the case then also enough for my current 2yrs old battery is giving me around 2-2.5hrs of battery backup and don't want to plugin the power bank in my mobile (though I've xiaomi one in my home)
Another vote for "physics > spiel". You simply cannot get more mAH from the same dimensions. For the fella above who says he got more out of a replacement Nokia, it's entirely possible that the improvement in battery life was merely down to the age of the battery, as in, the one he was used to was tired and running out of charge cycles.
You can squeeze a little more power in the cell , these come highly recommended but not cheap.

Don't forget that it is possible for manufacturers to stack batteries and make them bigger (thicker). Nexus 4's non-removable back (glass!), fragile design make this impossible. I remember seeing a 6200mAh battery for my old Note 2, but you needed to use a custom back cover because of the added thickness. But the point is battery capacity is limited by it's density, so the only way to make a larger capacity battery is to make it bigger. Until we get some new battery technology with different density like graphite or whatever.

I just replaced my original battery with a Max Baer high capacity battery at 3600mAh and it's just as bad as my old original battery. It's draining just as fast. I need to purchase another battery so anyone with experience with purchasing any batteries. If you can give me some advice on which one you bought and how well it did would be great cuz I would hate to buy another one after I buy this one, so any advice would be grateful. And theven MaxBeat high capacity battery was even rated higher than at 3600mAh and the original battery was 3200mAh or close to that number. so I would have thought that this max Baer battery would have done pretty good but it's as a right now not holding up to my standards I have to charge it like twice a day. Never heard of MaxBaer/MaxBeat or whatever it is - is it the same physical size as the original battery? If so, there is no way it can be 3600mAh. I'm a ZeroLemon fan. Granted it makes the phone larger and people always comment on how large my phone is, though I have used phones as large as Red Bricks for work (Intermec) so it's small by comparison. I don't use the belt clip with it since I have cargo pockets.
Based on my personal experience, Stalion® Strength Note 4 Replacement Battery gives a great performance compared to the original for a normal (not extended battery) and sells at a very good price too. Also 4500mah Golden Battery though its performance is the same as a 3220mah Stalion but comes at a cheaper price.

I have tried Maxbear and powerbear, neither of which are any good in my experience. I also have two from anker and those were good but they're old now. I just this week bought an extended shenMZ 7500 mAh battery but that is not even lasting an entire day so I think it may have been sitting for a while. I think part of the problem may be that some of these batteries have been sitting in a warehouse for a long time unused. Somebody in this thread said that the RavPower batteries are still good. I also hear from another thread that the TQTHL extended 11800mah batteries are good as well. Has anybody bought a battery in the past few months that doesn't suck?
