I go to personalize, widgets then setting and it's blank. I'm try to add widgets for WIFI, GPS and Mobile Network. Anyone else having this issue?
Nope....all there on personalize-widgets-settings. After getting s-off and root did you go overboard with removing stock apps...or did you flash a custom ROM?
Stock rom. I guess I will do a factory restore and redo s-off and re-root.

I have rooted my phone, and have been trying to use Fresh ROM, but have been having issues.
I though I should try and unroot, and get back to stock. The trouble is I cannot now get HTC Sync to work, and so would not be able to use the program to unroot.
Does anyone know why I would be having issues with HTC Sync ?
I have uninstalled rivers and reinstalled HTC sync, but my phoen still does not recognise HTC Sync.
OK, tried restoring to stock using the RUU and I'm getting the bootloader error.
I've hunted the forums for answers, but cannot find anything. Am I stuck with a knackered phone ?

Your error is caused by this: http://geekfor.me/news/sprint-ruu-fails/
I know the issues you've been having are kind of crazy. Do you have a nandroid backup that you can go to from when you first rooted?
I do jhave nandroid ackups, but I'm kinda thinking it's something to do with some apps I've installed maybe...
It's really odd, it only happens when I'm on Fresh. I get apps hanging, HTC Sync keeps rebooting...Force closures...really odd.
I would like to go completely back to stock, and then add minimal apps and then reroot and put Fresh on.
I'll see what I can do today.
Nope
RUU still won't do anything
I've gone back down to Fresh 0.2...still nothing.
I have a nandroid backup that I'm gonna go to, but it's post root. I guess I'm stuck with a rooted phone and no ROMs

Yea, flashing back to an older rom won't fix RUU. Have you tried clearing your cache and/or doing a factory wipe yet?
I'm having the same problem. Want to get back to stock. How do I do the factory wipe you mentioned? And knowing how to clean the cache would be useful as well... Actually I'm not having the same problem. My phone came with the 1.29 firmware. I tried using the RUU straight from MoDaCo, but that failed, so I used my backup that is from just after I rooted it and still can't get HTC Sync or the RUU to work.

Boot into your recovery (power off phone, Home+Power back on). Once in the recovery select Wipe.
Will that remove the custom recovery so I can get back to stock?
Phew... it did... I was starting to get worried for a second...
Crap... no it didn't... but it did let me install the 1.56 update, but the custom recovery stopped it from completing on reboot. And HTC Sync still doesn't work... grrr... frustration...
Ok, I'm going to take a deep breath and try running the 1.56 RUU. I don't know if its going to work considering I still can't get HTC Sync to work but its the only the I can think of at the moment.
AH HA!!!!!! VOLUME UP PLUS POWER ON!!!! BRILLIANT!!! PROBLEM SOLVED!!!! Sorry for the caps, but resolving tech issues is a bit like crack.
So I managed to get back to stock.
Fresh 1.0 applied.
And I STILL get the odd HTC Sense reboot.
It's infuriating.
The last time it happened, I was in my voicemail, changing my details, and when I went back to the home page, it rebooted.
I have uninstalled Advanced Task Killer. Uninstalled Battery Indicator, and yet I still get these Home screen reboots.
Sick of it.
Hi.
I notice some roms/mod mention radio S-OFF, well I've got my phone rooted and have S-OFF, so does this mean the radio is S-OFF? If not how do I do it?
Thanks.
Try searching mate....
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1178143
I've already use a file called PG58IMG.zip so I can't do Radio S-OFF due to already using the file?
I don't understand this.
Which bit you struggling with mate?
You need to download the radio you want then re-name it to PG58IMG.zip.
Well tbh I prefer the look of the radio that's already on :s, but apparently like some of the roms NEED a new radio.
Does anything I flash need to be under that file name?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1098849
It says Radio S-OFF in order to flash new radio.
All i did to flash Revolution HD was to S-OFF and Perm Root, then Used Super Wipe as it says, got Super CID (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1192300)
Then flashed the Rom and No-Sense Rom (Optional).
I haven't flashed any other radio and the Rom is running superbly.
I've not done Super CID I didn't think I had to.
When I flash I'm going to loose everything like my contacts and messages right? I would use HTC Sync to back em up but It won't let me sync contacts to my PC.
Yeah do the Super CID, it's pretty easy.
To back everything up, download Titanium Backup from the market, go to back up/restore, press menu, batch, then run all user apps and system data.
This will backup all of your data up to your SD card, and won't be erased on the wipe.
Then after the flash all you have to do is re-download titanium backup and run the restore.
Also your contacts should be saved to your googlemail account, and I always do a copy of my SD card to my computer just in case
If I were you i'd wait until later to flash Revolution HD as mike1986 is bringing out an update later today.
Ok I'll wait untill later today.
I have backed my contacts up to my PC, I don't know how to add all my contacts to googlemail?
When I create a contact, do I select my googlemail account under "Contact type"
Is the no-sense version better of revolution?
Yeah when you add a contact,it should pop up then when you restore your phone you can grab all the contacts back from googlemail.
Let me know how you get on!
EDIT: Yeah, no-sense is faster and uses GoLauncher which is alot more customizable. Its just a matter of choice really!
Will do.
I'm going to try no-sense first, but I might try the one with sense after. I do like HTC Widgets if I could get em separately.
I understand with the rom if I want to change the theme, I have to re flash compared to just putting a new theme like go launcher on the stock rom?
I really want better battery life though.
You can still get widgets via, the market, with apps like beautiful widgets, fancy widgets etc.
Not neccesairly, you can download themes from the forum or market for most of the launchers.
My battery life has improved since i satrted using Revolution HD, just make sure you reset your battery stats like he tells you at the bottom of the first post. Also I purchased an Anker 1900aH battery from amazon which is ALOT better than the stock one.
Hey everyone, I've just got Sense 3.0 and I don't like it (bah humbug), is it possible to revert back to 2.1 easily? I've not rooted, modded, or S-OFF'd my phone at all. Would a factory reset do it? Obviously I'd have to back up and restore everything which is a pain. Is there an easier way?
Many thanks!
Downgrade HBOOT 2.00.0002 to 0.98.00000
Backup;
contacts and calendar on Google
search Market for sms backup
for apps Astro manager I think, but not sure
Hey,
If I go into settings and select to reset data I need to know two things.
Will I:
1) Loose root?
2) Still be running version 2.3.3 since I am just doing a factory reset?
3) Provided to above are fine, the whole reason I doing this is because I some how lost the Accounts and Sync option from settings, will that be there upon return?
On the other hand, does anyone know how I can add back Accounts and Sync? Or where it may be hiding. I tried using Titanium to restore that App but it did nothing.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
did you reboot after, and try restoring other apps
the preinstalled apps are sometimes connected to each other, remove one, and another stops working correctly

Hello,
I'm having issues with WiFi, it doesn't connect to my home network at all. This is what I did..
I sunshine rooted/s-off with success then I fastboot stock recovery then took the ota. That went well, but the WiFi doesn't connect. Should I reinstall tarp and see if it connects or maybe flash the radio??
Thanks for your time.

You aren't the first. Can you backup and factory reset first to see if that fixes the problem?

I'm still on stock recovery, should I flash twrp now??

No...Stock recovery is best for factory reset.
@dottat
So factory reset in stock recovery?
I'll still have my apn settings intact? Sorry I've only messed with a Sprint HTC one m7 ONLY on CDMA with no 4G LTE when I was on Guam. Now I'm afraid I'll lose settings I need to get it functioning properly.

I am having some wifi issues as well. I just tried a factory reset and the issue still remains. I will try doing the full RUU tomorrow, but off to bed for me for now.
My wifi issue is that it connects but constantly drops the connection. I haven't been able to make sense of it yet. I'm at work most of the time and this is where I notice it. I'm not sure if it is only here or happens on other routers, but I will keep trying to track it down.
Ok, I've tried to reflash stock recovery and redo what I did to take the OTA, but now it's just a RED triangle when it tries to install....
What am I doing wrong?
What/where can I find the stock recovery?
Also, I can't get into stock recovery also, to try and factory reset.
Also to add:
When I take the OTA is the phone still rooted? I remember vaguely that I wasn't able to use root apps at all, so maybe that's my issue with stock recovery.
Thing I am most worried about*maybe I'm overreacting* is carrier settings, when I factory reset or maybe doing a RUU, so guys please enlighten me about this.
