Hey,
Just wondering if theres any chance of ppfmod or similar being introduced into any of the desire S roms? I think it would be a very usefull feature if any devs would be interested in looking at implementing it?
Many thanks

Hi,
Not sure if this info could be useful for our Universals:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=558378
What you think guys?
Could be, but may not look too great.
Didn't thingonaspring do something similar to reduce memory on his last ROM? I believe people were also saying it was fast too.
Hi Jonny,
Yeah, I´ve heard something about that.
Hope someone can let us know their experiences and also if this can be useful on future ROM´s.
Cheers,
Hey guys what's going on? I was curious if anyone here know why no unrestricted 3g type app exists for android? I would imagine something like this would be doable with root but I havent yet found anyone whose made this. I would find it extremely useful to play certain games over 4G and things to that extent. I'm willing to look into developing this myself if there's no strong reasoning I've overlooked as to why it can't be done.
Thanks
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
i think there is still nothing like this. if someone can create this, i'll be the 1st customer.

I'd be willing to consider developing it but to be honest I dot know where to start. Root apps seem confusing to make. I've coded enough where it should be double but Id rather not spend so much time. Anyone on here wanna start. Project with me?
No...but I do wanna drink some bleach with you LOL,I mix mine with grape kool aid
wondering is somebody knows if there is an app made yet to trick the device into wifi
Anything new on this? I'm looking for the same thing
Can be done, checkout Fake Wifi Connection.
Multiwindow is a nice feature especially on a tab. I'm shocked that no one has ported it to other devices. I'm no dev, gave up software decades ago, but does someone have an idea why it hasn't been incorporated elsewhere?
EDit: sorry didn't see other thread on this. Popular idea
I am not a dev, but looking through many topics about multitasking I assume that porting this feature is a major issue. Many tf700 users are trying to achieve multitasking by using floating browser or floating apps from Google Play. We surely have many smart devs working on tf700, but lack of this feature speaks for itself

I ported the next best alternative to Samsungs multiwindow. Check out bryce_rom thread. It is still not a daily driver but it is working.
If you wanna see how it basically works, check out youtube: cornerstone android
If you have any questions left, please ask in the specific thread
Cornerstone not compatible with CROMi, right?

Hey guys, I posted this over in the HTC One forum. Was wondering if anyone had/can create a replica of the Sense 5.0 Messaging App? I just love the way it looks, so clean and minimal. If there was any way of getting that (hopefully stand alone) feature on my S4 I would be forever in your debt. When I posted it in the HTC One forum, there was quite a bit of interest as well.
Not sure if it's even possible, just hoping someone talented at XDA can do this.
Thanks.
Hey guys, this is quite a wide question so I'm looking for a lot of opinions and strategies here.
An app I made is really starting to take off, and a couple of users have started offering to beta test for me. In the past I've just developed by myself and got some input from friends and family, but I'm thinking now that a more formalized beta process will benefit me, if only to get the feel of it for future projects.
So I've come to ask you guys about your experiences with running these kind of things. How useful are they? What tools were you using to organize reports and information? How did you go about selecting participants? How often should I be pushing new beta updates to the users?
Also useful would be opinions from people who were testers in a groupl. What made you want to test for that app? Was there anything the developers did that annoyed you?
Like I said, this is quite a wide topic, and I'm not even really sure what exactly I'm looking for here, so just posting whatever experience you have with these things would help me a lot
