everything you need to know is in the first link to their website.
its not stable rom yet but from what it came from we should be happy we finally got 1 foot through the door.
from what i have used this can be a kickass rom.
it might take some time but once everything works on this rom and it runs smoothly, i guarentee alot of people will be using this as a daily.
Will a photon 4g system dump essentially give us the updated motoblur with working 4g? And will this development help in fixing problems from a photon system dump? Just wondering. Would love to try this out

this thread was posted yesterday, with a link to the actual thread on team xron's website. this thread cant even be considered dead, its honestly been here for maybe 10 hours. and it is looked at as me owning this port. i was the one that got it booting on our evos, i have been spending countless hours on it, i have been fixing it. No, i replaced the boot.img with the one from cm7 and added the modem from Serendipity.

That one never booted for me, and I remember reading that it didnt for some others. The thread was also closed.
It was closed because of the complete lack of respect, and the silly posts that happened to flood into the thread. Hopefully that doesn't happen to you, but anything goes around here it seems.

Cool. No one is going to get anywhere until the source is released, which should be around november 17 when the galaxy nexus comes out. Then hopefully linuxbozo can do some magic haha or just simply wait for cm9, which linux will have to port that over (should be a little easier then the first idea). Can't wait linux! All hopes on you for at least getting cm9 working haha.

Right now i have an infuse, a cappy, an epic 4g, and a g-tablet, and they all have immature posters. As for the person who can't get it booting, i just wiped both data and cache, then flashed. Its been a while since MIUI was "started"... I totally forgot about it. :-/ This sgs4g is my first android phone so I have never used it, neither CM... but im enjoying what we have so anything that comes next its extra.
Question is, do you guys want a good solid working miui or a hacked together hardly usable pos miui? Things take time, and a lot of the additions I've seen coming out lately are all stepping stones. Hassling our devs isn't going to speed anything up.

Valhalla is pretty close to what you can do with CM. The real different is the t-mobile theme engine built in, and a few more tweaks. The only true benefit of cyanogenmod would be official support, so we would always be upgraded to the next OS. I'm not sure how CM9 will look though- it will be impressive no doubt.
Truth be told I do not know how they decide who gets official support. It is nice because you almost always have the latest OS before anyone. Then again, people tend to get bored with almost everything, if we had CM, we would probably still be switching to different roms. For example, I switched to Blandroid on my Nexus One because I would tired of CM. I switched back again, but you get my point.

Also when we got source that was win... even tho it wasnt complete n had to use the i9k to finish parts of the stock kernel...
Also we need a more updated up stream for u boot n cm7 asop kernel before the rom will be proper this takes time

I've just finished building a MIUI port for our phone, but I haven't tested it yet. Still in the process of making a nandroid backup right now.

Cm7 is too buggy to get MIUI good enough for daily. I suggest waiting for cm9 to work on miui 4.0 or even better one of the real time miui porter is working on the T-Mobile sgs2

I don't know what problem you are referring to - I can focus my camera fine - just touch the screen in the area I want to focus and the camera focuses - looks great - am I missing something here? is there some other kind of focusing problem?

Don't take this the wrong way. I don't want to say anything bad about someone's work, but until we know what 'it' is, this thread is of no use. If you were to make a thread with a fix and details in it in the first place, less trolling would occur. I sometimes do have this problem, many others have too, including Google. Google has acknowledged this and fixed it in 4.0.4 along with other things. Team Douche (Cyanogemmod) are waiting for 4.0.4 to add more features to cm like theme chooser and customizations.

I understand. And yea I'll wait. What I did was take the apk from Clean GB rom, compare the two, and I changed stuff accordingly to that. It works, but if the problem still persists in 4.0.4 then I'll post the mod. Oh and taking the apk wasn't all I did. I'm in school and I hacked their website blocking crap, I don't have the time to type the two paragraphs of what I did.

Oh ok I see. Well now I'm getting the idea that it isn't actually focusing... I themed it as well so if you guys want my themed version let me know. But I'll put my hand 3 inches away, it'll say its focusing but its still rather blurry.
So I can either post what I currently have, or you guys can wait for me to figure out why it was broken to begin with and wait for me to 100% fix it, or go the safe way and wait for "team douche" to release 4.0.4
Its up to you guys. I probably shouldn't have posted this until I knew for a fact I could get it up in the same day, or the next day. I'll try my best to hop on my pc and upload it but my dads complaining about how ridiculously priced it is for me to run my computer, so if it isn't today it'll be Sunday. 22ghz isn't cheap . No they actually aren't. He doesn't wanna say it but its because my step mom sits on the couch 10 hours a day with the tv on then goes in her room for bed and watches another 4. THAT'S why the bill is so high. When I stream stuff and leave my computer on its only 2 dollars an hour.

XDA is more gsm and rootz is more cdma( mostly north american ) and devs are free to post any site they want. jt got a loaner infuse from entrofy and that $100 is for quadx or someone i forgot who ported ics to defy but still could not get a infuse deal. anyways, the point is jt can do whatever you wants to do, and even if he made a deal he already posted a link to his source and a alpha version. he is done, and now other devs can start doing it, he's not obligated to make a 100% working rom , people stop trolling jt because he only wants to post in rootz, the is a dev forum not a rom forum, he can one day say " screw it " and we are left with nothing., just a though
just check rootz more. thats it.. only takes 2 mins of your time

Dude, give up its not going there. Its on rootzwiki, your going to be waiting a loong time for someone to post an ICS rom in there.

It might go there since the Dev already moved on with it having a bunch of crap still broken. Not looking for this to move there just someone with the balls to take it and make it there own with fixes and a good portion of it working just like people here did with gingerbread.

Has jt said he is done with development? He did just open a thread on Rootzwiki why would he just drop it? Is it possible he's taking a break? We just got 2 builds to play with in the last three days...I'd say that's worthy of a break...

Not to start a flame war but my guess is because up until jt posted his build most of the devs said it was [nearly] impossible, no kernel, no source, no this, no that. And even if it was possible there wasn't enough ram and it would be a hacked up version, etc etc. Again not trying to start up any **** just giving you a history refresher.
Maybe not what the poster meant but that is how I took it.
