Has some improvements from the one in the op on another thread. We have started working on this with Swamp.. the OP and owner of the port. Hopefully this will start making faster progress. I will keep the thread updated.. you can always count on that.

everything you need to know is in the first link to their website.
its not stable rom yet but from what it came from we should be happy we finally got 1 foot through the door.

from what i have used this can be a kickass rom.
it might take some time but once everything works on this rom and it runs smoothly, i guarentee alot of people will be using this as a daily.

Will a photon 4g system dump essentially give us the updated motoblur with working 4g? And will this development help in fixing problems from a photon system dump? Just wondering. Would love to try this out

Haha another dead end blur thread! Wait did you say someone owns that port. Um I don't think anyone owns anything in this forum unless its closed source or its being sold.

Ah yes your right but the photon is running the ugly blue and green motoblur. I guess you could call it stock blur while the Droid x runs ninjablur.

Haha another fantastic troll post! hey bro I have an idea for you, stay out of these motoblur port threads, nobody wants you here. this forum is for people to contribute and help others. you do nothing but troll and piss people off.
this thread was posted yesterday, with a link to the actual thread on team xron's website. this thread cant even be considered dead, its honestly been here for maybe 10 hours. and it is looked at as me owning this port. i was the one that got it booting on our evos, i have been spending countless hours on it, i have been fixing it. I "own" this port to the evo. team xron is now helping me out.

they can hear you but you can't hear them.

cant wait till the sound works will most definately use this as my regular keep up the great wrk team

yup.. the team is now pretty much focused on helping with this port.. a member.. chubbz just got hw acceleration working so that's some progress.. we hope to make more

Gflam 1 of the co developers of this is my rom partner. We did a rom called sourcery together. i finally put recovery on today and was suppose ot work on getting him the info to make it compatible. But he was busy. Ill post as soon as its supported. and i do some testing for him.

Wow, that would be awesome! Not yet officially supported on our phone according to link. Seems like it would be pretty buggy running on SD.
Somewhat on topic, this is one of the reasons I got an LG phone. I work with VMware products in my job and they've partnered with LG to work on giving users the ability to run a business and personal accounts simultaneously through virtualization. Not 100% sure if it is actually a whole other ROM but it looks like it from the demo. If it's true virtualization for phones, I could see you being able to run multiple ROMs.

The dev on this sent me an email and said they are working on this device and one of his guys is testing it out now. It should be available soon. The dev was also very helpful and very quick to respond to my email.

We have worked some on the g2x but it doesn't have a fully unlocked bootloader so gonna require more work...not sure yet how long it could take.

He also sent me the apk with code for the g2x and some suggestions to try but its over my head.
Whitehawkx said he will take a look if he can, if anyone else wants to give it a wack let me know.

Short answer, it doesn't work.. lol... It can't flash the boot.img. I'll send some info to the dev, hopefully he will be able to update the code and get us going.

i have tried the v.1.2 of this app and had no luck just error when it was trying to create a boot.img of the rom i was wanting to install. i'll guess i'll go back to doing a nandroid backup of the other rom and just reflash the backup when i want to use it. at least that way works. i was really looking forward to giving this app a go as well, just a shame really..........sudeki300

For me, it worked when i was restoring from a nandroid (only worked once).
I'm not sure whether it was setup issue or whether it was software.
Will report back after further testing =D

I don't think you are allowed to get rid of the hd2, its the best "android" phone ever, too bad i broke mine after a couple days of having mine, then I got a g2x.

ICS Ported to Captivate

It's works pretty well for it's early stage. I have it on a Captivate now and it does have some functionality. No camera, GPS seems borked, but 3G and WiFi do function. Things are looking up folks. We may actually see some Ice Cream on our phones! The Movie Studio doesn't work (for me at least, not sure about others), but it's a welcome feature once fixed. Something Android has been missing since the start. This could prolly be Hellraised, but I'd wait until more kinks are worked out. It's very Alpha at this point.

If all these other phones are getting ics ported b4 us then hope might as well be lost We don't have as much dev interest as all these other phones do.

Well, if we wait for the cappy or i9000 to get it first, basicly our infuses is the same device, just bigger and a tiny bit different. Then linux could probably port it pretty easily.

I tried messing with it today changing the boot.img and some egl and lib files...havent got it to boot yet....im thinking we r gonna need a kernel with modified mtd partitions before we get a patially working port..

There have been more that have been locked as off topic. It seems like every day there's a new topic about someone porting ICS for another phone.
And this doesn't really mean ICS for us any more than the I9000 port did.
Regardless, I have some time off finally, so I'm working on something.

I was attempting to make a "dirty" ics build from LinuxBozo's git hub source tree by using the infuses proprietary files but it required much more, advanced coding than I can handle.

Yeah, I'm close to getting something running I think, but I'm not working on it again until Monday, sorry. I don't have a Linux dev system set up at home to work on it with, so I stick to working on it at work and I'm out until Monday.

Believe you me, ICS is worth the wait. I have it running on my Captivate.

Its been a while since MIUI was "started"... I totally forgot about it. :-/ This sgs4g is my first android phone so I have never used it, neither CM... but im enjoying what we have so anything that comes next its extra.

Question is, do you guys want a good solid working miui or a hacked together hardly usable pos miui? Things take time, and a lot of the additions I've seen coming out lately are all stepping stones. Hassling our devs isn't going to speed anything up.

Valhalla is pretty close to what you can do with CM. The real different is the t-mobile theme engine built in, and a few more tweaks. The only true benefit of cyanogenmod would be official support, so we would always be upgraded to the next OS. I'm not sure how CM9 will look though- it will be impressive no doubt.
Truth be told I do not know how they decide who gets official support. It is nice because you almost always have the latest OS before anyone. Then again, people tend to get bored with almost everything, if we had CM, we would probably still be switching to different roms. For example, I switched to Blandroid on my Nexus One because I would tired of CM. I switched back again, but you get my point.

Also when we got source that was win... even tho it wasnt complete n had to use the i9k to finish parts of the stock kernel...
Also we need a more updated up stream for u boot n cm7 asop kernel before the rom will be proper this takes time

Ok guys! I have done some really hard thinking and i have decided to begin some development on the Triumph!
I am a more experienced ROM developer for the more newer devices such as the Galaxy S2!
I am going to take the CM9 base and configure it and make it better!
