Hi.
I tried to update my SO to WM6 (crap). The system hanged and now the phone is bricked.
All I can see is the HTC logo followed by the operator splash screen with the following info:
IPL : 2.20.0001
SPL : 2.10.0001
GSM : 02.07.20
OS: 4.0.0.0
.... NOTHING MORE!!!
Help would be very apreciated.

I bricked my friend's Jamin
It booted fine after I put wm6 but now after I rebooted it,it shows the splash screen with imate logo : ipl : 1.00 , spl : 1.00.0000 , gsm: 01.14.20 , os : 10.1.0.811
any ideas ? pleasee help.......
same thing happened to me when it was softreset with a charger connected. Try removing the battery and/or hardreseting it. should do the trick
just try to hardreset..and then flash it with new ROM
Version of my prophet:
IPL: 1
SPL: 1
ROM version: 3.0.0.0 WWE
ROM date: 6/7/06
Radio version: 01.13.20
Protocol version: 4.0.13.24
ExtROM version: ASerg.11 (Build 15671.3.3.12.ASerg)
Anyway, after trying to upgrade the radio ROM to 2.69.21, the phone resetted but the splash screen only displayed:
IPL: 1.00
SPL: 1.00
(GSM: ####)
OS: 3.0.0.0
The GSM part was blank in the splash screen, the signal icon in the task bar also had an exclamation point (!), the device became sluggish and very slow to respond, and finally, it was not being recognized by activesync when I plug the USB to my computer.
Any ideas how to fix this?
mine was:
IPL 1.00
SPL 1.00.000
OS 1.0.13.21
No GSM text shown....
And... this is the final screen. After this, my prophet keeps restarting and go back to the HTC white screen..
Any hint...?

i installed ROM v4.0.0.0
since it had a lot of problem i went to ROM v4.0.0.0.3a
but my cell still hanged a couple of times so i had another installation of ROM v4.0.0.0.3
during the installation it hanged and i got a msg on my screen that itwrite cannot finish
i reset my cell and now it does not start. only thing i get is my start up screen that is HTC and

SPL 2.15.0001
GSM 02.19.21
OS 4.0.0.0

Go Into BootLoaded mode, Reflash with Aku2.2_Novid. once complete install anyrom you want

i was installing windows mobile 6 and then my device failed the copying of the new rom on step 3. after the setup i did a hard reset on my phone hoping it would get back to wm5 but now all i see is a screen freezing indicating

The phone doesn't startup. it's dead....

How can I "save" my PROPHET?!
