After upgrade to 3.1 I still have some issues with the tablet.
1) With 3.0 I was successful playing DIVX videos using Moboplayer and Vplayer Pro.
Now most of them don't work at all and some play with crashes. I did reloaded
the Moboplayer codex to make sure it was not deleted with upgrade to 3.1.
2) Does anyone have a User Manual on how to use the tablet?
3) How do you handle the build in SDcard? How do you format it?
And copy and move files. I was able t use File manager, but was not able to
play files on the SDcard with Moboplayer and Vplayer. The gallery gices no
access to the SDcard!
Any suggestions or HELP will be appreciated!

The SD card is in a weird area; it's in "removable>MicroSD"
Any suggestions or HELP will be appreciated!

well the microSD is /removable/microsd, but he asked about the built in "sd" memory, which is /mnt/sdcard (or simply /sdcard)

Any more details, please?
What media player? Can you see the files on the Card? Do the files open using File Explorer? Does the SD card work in you PC? Can you open you media player and then "File", "open" the file?
im using th WMP installed in the phone, all music files can be seen using file explorer, and can be only played one at a time when selicted through file explorer, its when i try to update library that it sees all the files says adding files and then justs stops

This has been reported as an issue in dutty's new Rom (20 Fev)...
no solution yet...
but I guess you can open TCPMP and load music from there...

OK. I have the tiamat 1.3.1 installed no problem. I can browse to the new sdcard2 folder in the sdcard folder, but I can not play video files. Text files open fine. Is this a player issue or config???????

Ok. I have been doing so trial and error and have targeted the point of failure.
I formated the disk to start from scratch. Let plugged in to my pc and copied a working file to the card(same file in the /scard/movies) Tested the file and it played on the PC. Put it in the xoom turned it on and poof cant play the file. Took the card out put it in the PC and poof cant play the file. So, it looks like when I turn on the xoom it is writiting or modifying the file.
Any ideas on what could be causing this and how to fix or prevent???

What player are you using? Try MoboPlayer, although I guess that doesn't explain why it won't play on pc after putting sd card back.
I actually test four one of which is the mobo. But you are right, it still does not play when I retest on the PC.
I have no problems whatsoever... What I noticed, however, is that the directory sdcard2/ has a fake date (12/31/69).

Give me a help with this... I am using a Stock ROM rooted right now and the question is if there is a way to transfer .MKV files to SDcard slot without converting to .mp4 files...
Every time I try, windows explorer gives a error... and this only happen with .mkv...
Help you already found a solution.

what is the filesize of your mkv files? Are they exceeding the 4gb fat32 limit?

Actually No, I could understand that, but the files only have 500mb...

If its the error saying your device does not support the file type, just ignore the warning and copy it anyway. It works.
Hey guys, I cant get my memory card to load up my pics or songs or anything really with any roms right now i am using jelly bean and i went back to ics and still nothing. internal amd external wont work. but if i use a file explorer it finds the songs etc perfectly just that the apps dint find them??? help!!!??? this has been killing me for like weeks now

Simplest thing, put it in the PC, copy all data and then format the card as FAT
Or then more details
- What's the ROM u using (at the moment)
- What's the app that does not see it?

well i used alllll the jell bean roms pretty much. and currently im using paranoid android. and my various music apps like the play music and th cm9/10 music app the gallery. nothing finds my sd card. could it be because its called sdcard1 and sd card1?? instead on internal or external.(the names when i use astro)
Connect the phone to your computer, make sure you have show hidden files, go to the folders with your stuff and delete .nomedia files.
so i did that and then i went into my gallerey and the two photos that were showing up is now gone

All those ROM u are using the sd card is no in emmc folder, you have to go out of there to / (nothing) then you will see sdcard folder.
Try to update the pass in your programs that you need to use.

Hey guys.Sorry my Englis is not perfect.So I have a 2 little problem. I am using 10.1.0-RC2 cyanogenmod rom,and I dont know why,but when I am playing Gameloft games which is using controller the carracter,so the player who I am just looking around and dont stop.
Another bigger problem. I cant transfer to my external 1T hard drive.So I can see what on the hard drive I can copy things hard drive to tablet or sd card,but another way is not working so I cant make a new folder on my external hard drive and I cant copy tablet to hard drive.Please help me. Thanks. And sorry again my crazy anglish.I hope you understand.

ext4 is a filesystem - a way to format a storage medium - that is native to Linux (and thus Android) and unsupported by Windows. So you would need to reformat your drive under Linux and then you can't access it in Windows.

You might try this third party utility that allows Windows 7+ to then read/write? EXT2,3,4 partitions. You can also download an upgrade (XP) from MS that allows native support for exFAT partitions.
