hello, one of my frnd using xperia neo he had tried several times failed with the update procedure due to unknow error. His phone can not be powered since the first error event.He had already tried several times with Sony Ericsson Update software and the PC Companion as well. However, NOT any successful time he had reached. The latest software is downloaded already from the internet but it failed to be installed in the phone in the middle of process. It appeared to be some unknown error and asked me to retry. But then, I failed again with the same error. Thus, what can I do now with can-not-powered Neo?

Hi Everyone,
I have been trying to update my firmware to the New Marshmallow (Version 23.5.A.0575) from the Phone & Xperia Companion.
*When I update it from the phone it restarts the device and in the middle of the process the phone switches on and gives an error message.
*But when I update it from the Computer via Xperia Companion, it gave me the following error message after restarting the device. Error code: UEGetPhoneInfoFailure UE_1200.
Could anyone please guide me on this error.

My xperia C was a says a message "criptografy phone", after rebooting results in boot loop. I try to restore using:
- PC Companion, but show a message "UEUpdatefailed, UE_2005";
- Flashtool, but show a message "INFO - Unable to read from phone after having opened it. INFO - trying to continue anyway" and not starts flashing;
- Flash with wmshua (starts flash, 5%, 10% and failed);
* Obviously, in two times i used different .ftf files (16.0.B.2.16) for c2304, latin america/brazil and installed flashtool/wmshua/adb drivers;
- Wiped data and cache partition in recovery.
In the recovery, i selected the item like "checksun verify{...}" and shows a message like "c2305 16.0.B.2.16", but, in behind phone, shows "model: c2304"
I searched and follow guides/steps in the forum and net, but i tried all.. unsuccessfully
please any suggestion or help? questioned sony about error in pc companion UE_2005, but not response
Most people reported similar problem (not in xperia C) and not found solution).

i used wmshua to flash it but it reaches 100% and gives a message "failed ! "
i downloaded the firmware from more than one site and the problem wasnt be solved
and i tried sony companion program and clicked "repair software" then put the phone on flash mood and it starts to download the software ,
, after downloading it on pc it gives a message
"Software repair failed.
An error occurred while repairing your device.
Please try again. If the problem persists, please contact Sony support.
Error code:UEUpdateFailed
UE_2005"
any help ?

I also try to install rom from sdcard but again failed.
Hi guys, I need help. Try flashing the firmware of my xz and I made an error (do not change 39.fsc to 41.fsc), different errors appeared when trying to flash. When I turned on my xz to repair it with Xperia Companion a warning appeared with the following message "Your device failed verification and will not work properly" and it shuts off after 5 seconds.
I notice my error so I try to do it again but I can not, errors keep appearing.
I tried to go back to 7.1.1 because 8.0 has problems with wifi and battery.
